Love The Coffee Bean. Made a stop at this location on our way back home and it did not disappoint. Their drink consistency is one you can count on at any of their locations. I caught myself drifting during the drive and desperately needed a latte to perk me up. I was excited to find this location in my route. Ordered my usual iced hazelnut latte 1/3 sweet with soy milk and it was heavenly. That first sip made me smile. read more

I really enjoy coming to this coffee bean for some tea. The store is located right across the mall and I feel its location is also pretty convenient considering other local restaurants, especially the bakery right next door. They do have outdoor seating and even comfortable seats inside. It's a good place to relax or study. The staff here have always been polite & welcoming. I've never had an issue with any of my orders. The downside is that this coffee bean does not have a drive thru. It also is the only coffee bean in the antelope valley. For someone who has grown tired of Starbucks, it would be nice if we had more coffee beans around. Nonetheless it's still nice to have one at least. read more

I like the new drinks that rotate with Coffee Bean and their pebble ice is nice. Some issues that I have coming in this most recent time as someone who use to frequent both here and Starbucks daily: 1) the app needs work. It should be seamless and frictionless. I faced so many hurdles that I ended up just going in to pay and then I was stuck in a line. The Apple Pay should be quick and easy, no reloads no bs just fix it. 2) as mentioned above I was in a line. Every time I'm here though there's a line and never seems to be enough situational awareness to have 2 people on register as soon as 3 or more people are in line. It leads people to be frustrated especially AFTER a horrible app experience in which I could have skipped the line and wait had I been able to order the drink before leaving Lancaster and arriving to this store. 3 lastly, I ordered 2 drinks and then I said after paying can I get a large ice water. " oh that's going to be an extra charge for the cup".... Are you kidding me lol I could understand people just walking in wanting water but even with a purchase I need to pay for the cup. But I just have issues with nickel and diming customers anywhere. I'm glad to see Coffee Bean is still here because I know some locations have closed but there's just some things that need to be tidied up for me to continue to come here. read more

I'm a loyal--or at least I was a loyal--Silver Member, and the great service at my regular spot is the only reason I choose Coffee Bean over competitors. But this Palmdale location (Store #244, next to Nadia Cakes) completely failed on basic hospitality, and corporate has totally ghosted me. * The Incident: I bought a canned Spindrift and asked for a cup of ice to dilute it due to my age and immediate physical needs. * The Refusal: Staff flatly refused to give me a cup. I asked for any alternative that wouldn't incur a charge--even their small water cup--just to hold the ice. * No Empathy: The manager admitted he had the discretion to bypass the $0.25 cup fee, but intentionally chose not to help a paying customer. Zero empathy over a quarter. * The Automated Loop: When I complained, a customer service bot replied four separate times claiming they provide a "complimentary water cup." I kept responding that this cup was never offered to me, but I was just trapped in the same automated loop. * Total Silence: I finally tried to reach out to regional management directly to fix this, but I have been met with absolute silence. No response at all. No human accountability from the counter to the corporate office. Unacceptable. I guess Coffee Bean doesn't really need my business. read more

BOGO Deals & Ube Delights! I keep coming back to this location for their great deals ~ either BOGO or $3 handcrafted drinks. Totally worth it! My go-to orders are the Ice Blended Dark Chocolate and Hot Mocha. So far, they have been consistently good. Recently, I tried the Ice Blended Ube Coconut Affogato from their Ube Sensation series ~ loved it! The flavors blend really well. Just a heads up: when they are running promos, it gets busy. I've waited over 30 minutes for my order during peak times, and they are sometimes short-staffed. The café is on the smaller side but a decent place to work ~ there are plugs available for laptops and devices. Parking is usually not an issue, and I appreciate the gender-neutral restrooms, which are generally clean. read more

Love the coffee and Noel always gives the best customer service! Makes the experience much more enjoyable.

I saw this place in passing and went in on a Saturday afternoon- midday. I did not expect to have such an awful experience. When i walked in, the line was already a little long which wasn't an issue but then after 10 mins in line, i noticed the guy at the counter taking orders seemed to be a little slow in his pace. When it was finally my turn to order; I ordered an horchata latte and a turkey pesto sandwich. The guy entered my order incorrectly multiple times. I corrected him 3 times. He kept putting in -matcha, i never ordered that, then he entered-protein latte- corrected him again. Not sure if he was new or just nervous but he kept apologizing and I was still very patient with him. I paid and proceeded to the waiting area. I got my sandwich first but my drink took forever!!! Not only did the barista who placed the drink on the counter did not call my name; But there was absolutely no label on the cup- Which caused a-lot of confusion while waiting. I kept checking to see if my order was ready but nobody said anything. I was standing there for 30 mins waiting...,until the same guy that i placed the order with called my name and said- "hey, not sure how long the drink has been sitting there but you can try it and let me know"... i was extremely irritated because it shows just plain incompetence. I grabbed the drink and left. When i got in the car; i tried the drink and it tasted like syrup water... extremely sugary, sweet garbage. This was a complete waste of time and money and they need to work on a better workflow. This place is chaotic. First and last time I will go here. read more

We stopped at The Coffee Bean in Palmdale because it was the nearest coffeehouse in the area. When we walked in, the place looked pretty dirty. The front door had fingerprints all over it and just didn't look well-kept. I walked up to the counter and asked the employee if they had sugar-free options. He said yes, so I ordered a sugar-free iced coffee. I haven't had regular sugar in a long time, and even a sip gives me an instant headache. When I took a drink, it was full of sugar. I went back to the counter, and all the employees just looked at me. I asked about it, and they said they don't actually have sugar-free drinks, only no sugar added. I explained that's not the same thing, and the employee should have mentioned that when I asked. The girl at the counter didn't seem to care much and kind of brushed it off. I had to ask for a refund, which they did give me. We had ordered three coffees -- $15 total -- and honestly, they were all bad. The drinks weren't good, the service was poor, and the place looked dirty overall. Definitely won't be coming back. They really need to work on their customer service and cleanliness. read more

Love love coming here my drink is always good no matter who helps me .. amazing . My mobile order is always on time .

I am very disappointed this location doesn't follow the policies rules as company.. I arrive at 8:55 pm and they being all ready closed., when the hours in the door was 9:00pm to close time, I knock the door but they been very busy cleaning., rushing to go home. tha men open the door and he was willing to make the drink but Anabel very rude told him that they clean everything and they can't make anything,., he told me that he was sorry but they can't make any drinks.,told him that they close at 9:00pm not 8:55pm., but he estates that they clean all ready and I can do where ever I want, but they can't serve no more drinks.. this is a very bad custumer service. it's not true that they have to wait until the time of closing that is 9:00pm to help the customers ..serving drinks., them why they have 9:00pm if they going to close early and making feel a customers disappointed not following the hours of the store . Do they have a manager? or they can do there own rules---very bad service....(( read more

One of the workers with a brown bunny head accessory lacked any customer experience. It should have been a simple kind interaction; however, with whatever personal issues she has going on, it should not be projected to the customers. I am typically not one to judge, but this interaction was unnecessary and should be trained and disciplined accordingly. read more

Noel was an amazing cashier. Just from walking into the coffee shop his energy could be felt right away and was very welcoming. Went in with my wife for a coffee for her. When they called her name that her drink was ready, she asked for a small cup of water. They said that water is a quarter even after we just paid almost $7 for a drink. Can understand this if there is no purchase but not after spending $7 read more

Same unfriendly employee with the long pony tail just did the same thing again - drink was done and didn't call my name, I had to look for my name on it and grab it when the other girls were calling ppls names out - again my name is not hard to pronounce or if she can't speak or something?? if I wasnt standing there watching, it would've been sitting again + she gave me watered down coffee - it's all ice and does not taste good this time. No one but her acts this way. Not sure what her problem is or what the ugly attitude is for?? The other girls were nice, unfortunate that they're not the ones who made my coffee. This is not going un-noticed and it's looking personal at this point to where she's been giving weird looks the last 2 visits. I never even had a direct interaction with her so I'm not sure what the 3rd degree is for? read more

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has many choices for coffees and pastries. I prefer Coffee Bean espresso beans for my home espresso machine. My favorite is the ice blended drinks especially the white mocha version. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf have a great rewards program that is built into their app. However, the rewards program is a lot more complicated to understand than the simpler rewards program offered by Starbucks. The food & pastry option at The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf are leaps & bounds better than those found at Starbucks. I feel like I've entered a bakery when visiting The Coffee Bean. My wife especially enjoys the overnight oats. I believe The Coffee Beans pricing is easier on the wallet that is Starbucks and the quality is on par or better too. The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has plenty of interior seating and some exterior seating. The coffee shop has an interior that is familiar over the decades, but has not been modernized or changed over time so it seems a bit dated now. The staff were really nice and offered good suggestions to me. If I wanted to hang out with friends at a coffee shop, I'd choose The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf. read more

Although it is sort of off the beaten path, it is so worth the trip. They don't have a drive through or curbside pickup, which is sad, but once again it is worth the short walk. If you use the mobile app, it is ready when you are. The pastries are always great and fresh, and Baristas are eager to help and very presentable. The ambiance is so welcoming, a great place to meet up with your friends or just a quit place for enjoying your sips. An abundance of tables inside and out. Hope to see you there!! read more

I love their coffee!! Lovely, young ladies, and awesome service!! They're very welcoming and the coffee is always delicious.

Incorrect orders and they do not fix them as advertised- in the store! Terrible service. Long waits. App never works. I am through w CB.

I can't even tell you how long I have been coming to coffee bean! I will admit I am biased against coffee shops ( A particular brand in my head that I wont say) coffee bean is always my number one and my go-to, they are so much better than these other coffee shops that are on every corner you see and super pricey with crappy drinks! The people are always so friendly and cheerful. I just wish this area had more coffee beans. read more

Coffee was good. First time ordering so I had to step aside to look at the menu, but that old dude who took my order was super rude. I said "hey how are you" and he's just like "what do you want". I laughed because he's a 45 year old barista. Again, coffee was good. read more

This Coffee Bean doesn't honor your request to change your drink if you change your mind immediately after paying, even though you just paid and they haven't even started making your drink yet. Honestly, im not one to write bad reviews but this genuinely ruined my day. I went to go get the Cookie Butter like I did before and I love this drink. This time i took 2 sips and the drink was gone. I really inspected it and I realized this drink was half ice. On top of the quality, the service was not pleasant and inviting at all. The person attending didn't even greet or nothing, he honestly was rushing us a little too, he had a negative tone and it just was a sign to turn back, wish I did do because I feel like I just wasted my money. read more

Great coffee, not so great atmosphere. No outlets to charge your phone or computer, I get they don't want loiterers or unwelcome guests sticking around but if I pay for a meal and sit to eat I feel I should be able to have a place to charge my devices. Especially people who are students etc buying coffee working on projects. This is the ONE thing I liked about Starbucks but I prefer coffee bean for their ethical and personal reasons. read more

I've been going consistently to coffee bean and although they messed up in the past, they have been on it. They deserve this updated review. I love coffee bean it's my go to and take everyone I can there already. The coffee is so delicious and I wish there were more locations. Today I spilled my coffee on my way out and I just thought oh well I'll just reorder but before I could decide the district manager came out and said they would remake my coffee. I've already posted a review of the terrible service this place has and I gave this place another shot and once again I'm disappointed in the service. So I went with my parents and I got the cookie butter latte and a sugar cookie. I LOVED the coffee, so creamy and smooth and it tasted great. The cookie on the other hand was pretty hard and just had a bit of a stale taste. I wouldn't get that again. My mom got a iced peach tea with 2 stevia, she loved it! The service was great. My barista was super nice and didn't mind that I was ordering a lot of different things lol. She never rushed me or made me feel like I was talking too much. The ambiance is nice. They have a good amount of seating. And it seems cozy to sit down and do schoolwork. Overall we will keep going and I've had it a few times before this. The coffee is always great. The food can be hit or miss, but that can be with any coffee shop food if its been sitting out too long. Overall I recommend it, and the coffee is way better than Starbucks. read more

This has to be one of the WORST coffee beans I've ever been to. The service is horrible everyone there looks and acts like they hate their job. To top it off they take forever to make a simple coffee that should take 2-3 min, instead I'm there waiting for the baristas to finish their conversation and then start working on the drink I ordered 15 minutes before.
