Hello I just wanted to make a comment about a situation I saw at this location around 9:30pm , I witnessed the sweetest people in the av get treated horribly by a group of nasty women and children ! I love this shop, I come almost every morning and I hope the management of this location take the employees side with this cause those people were so rude and difficult for absolutely no apparent reason, they had an employee starting at a screen ( having to help people on the side) all for a receipt and a name ? Not 100% sure what the situation was but I just know that the employee who helped them sounded like she just wanted to help and they just weren't satisfied enough. They started asking for people to be fired man! Over three drinks insane !Please Dutch bros give that person a raise cause after what they endured with those people, they deserve it ! however , My chocolate shake was astronomically great ! read more

For about 8 years now Ive been a customer of Dutch Brothers and I've two drinks I like are Lemonade and Iced Black tea. I like the lemonade and the Tea cut with water, so I order a medium and they put it in a large cup to put the drinks with water and extract ice. I'm paying for the medium drink I ordered. But now for some reason I was told they can't do that and they never have. I said...ok I'll buy the large tea and if you'll put a medium sized tea in the cup and cut it with water and ice because I want it cut with water....they did it...but made it clear they would only do it this once and they even called their district manager who said anyone on Lancaster who does that will get in trouble. I don't want to get anyone in trouble but why doesn't Dutch Brothers in Lancaster want to give good customer service. I've gotten those same drinks from Grants Pass Oregon all the way to Lancaster... No one questioned me just gave me good customer service. The drinks are more expensive than most places and to be able to order them the way you like them is usually a normal thing. read more

I was having an amazing morning until I arrived, and I wish I got her name, but none of them wear name tags, but she had her face poorly painted with different color stripes, I wish people would use their common sense and if they didn't wanna go to work, they should've just called out. Definitely love coming to this establishment, the staff is great and always in a great attitude. They always have my drinks done fast. The drinks always come out delicious and exactly how they should be. This establishment in east Lancaster definitely holds up and maybe even exceeds expectations. Definitely my favorite one to visit. So at work a coworker told us how her and her daughter come here maybe twice a week and have and use rewards program so I decided to try. She hyped it up saying it's so good and the lines are just as long as a Starbucks day rush. So I get there there's a drive-through and there's only one car ahead of us. There is a gentleman outside taking orders with an iPad who is very helpful and takes recognition that we never been here before. He started asking us questions and telling us about the menu as I went online to look at a larger menu. His suggestions were kind of helpful and we are not prompted of the reward program. Ended up ordering a smoothie and a iced blended drink. The lemonade is what I got and it was very sour even though it was strawberry peach flavoring which was melting very fast because it was super sunny. I will give it a three out of five because it was refreshing but it just was not sweet. And the smoothie we also ordered the feedback on that was that also it was on the sour side but I did not taste it. I appreciate how pretty the designs are of the store , how clean it looks from the outside and how helpful the gentleman was.. I would say the best part was the muffin tops that we ordered. I got the lemon poppyseed which is normally sweet across-the-board and we also ordered the orange cranberry which was good but there are huge craisin pieces. Someone in the line honked and he waves them off. When I first heard about Dutch Bros, I was a little sus about the brand and the concept. Keeping an open mind, I drove an hour and a half from Los Angeles to Lancaster to check it out. I'm not a coffee drinker per se, so I settled for a Lemonade/Shark Attack. It tastes like the old-school Freeze Pops. It's a little sweet, but after a while, I got used to the taste, and honestly, it was delicious. This was my first time there. It was not pleasant. After I made my order, I sat in line in back of another vehicle that was at the window for almost 10 minutes while they held a full-conversation with the guy in the drive-through window. By the time I got my cups, they were bath water warm and one of the lids was not put on properly. Coffee spilled all over. When I eventually cleaned up the mess and tasted both drinks, they were just underwhelming! What is the hype about?! Why did I get up out of my bed and drive past two quality mom and pop coffee places just to be met with poor customer service and mediocre product?! Obviously she isn't fit to work retail if she doesn't expect a customer to need time or even have patience. I love this place, others don't seem to understand the amount of rush the workers go through. We can't demolish a team for trying their best to get our coffee fast, we never know the amount of pressure their under in. I appreciate how the workers always give their kindness, compliments, and time to educate us on their drinks. He made suggestions and we decided that I was going to get a chocolate macadamia latte with oat milk he was so kind and kept the line moving along which I appreciated. When I got to the window I heard upbeat music which was refreshing. The friendly staff asked me a trivial question which made the time waiting for my latte seem like it was nothing. SLOW SLOW SLOW!! I just sat in the Dutch brothers queue line ... for 30 minutes. I mean, In the actual drive-thru line on the property of the business.... not stretched out beyond. If it weren't for the free drink, I would not have even come. Why does it take so long?? even when the baristas have taken the orders and payments from every single car in line? It also doesn't help to watch a barista deliver drinks to the car five spaces behind you. When the baristas are overly friendly, but not efficient, starting a convo with me at the window about what I'm doing the rest of the day (after giving a half hour of it away in their drive thru) no drink in hand, is just irritating. The orders for food or drinks are always correct and never watered down drinks are never drastically over packed with ice nor are the cup over flowing with whip cream if you order it and when they ask if you like room for cream & sugar they do not leave you with a whole half a cup for cream & sugar (I would be getting some pain with that much cream & sugar). I've been here now 5 times since they have opened and I just want to say they have been AMAZING every single time. Yes they aren't going to be 100% it's their first month you guys have obviously never work in food if you demand it to be working perfectly and fast and on point it takes time so have some patience! everyone has been extremely friendly and even with the long lines I haven't really had to wait long at all. The wait is super long due to only one location being open as of now but the staff is super friendly. I waited in the drive thru for my drink but the staff worked diligently to keep the line moving. The only thing I would say is they didn't label the cups to let you know which drink was what so they replaced them and properly labeled them. They were going to try to differentiate our first drinks but even they couldn't tell which was what so they kindly replaced them. I do enjoy them more than Starbucks for sure. read more

Had the worst experience earlier today. Such a shame considering that my cocomo was made to perfection. But the environment there was too catty. I heard yelling coming from one of the employees, Rachel. You were to think I was sitting in a Jerry Springer audience with the way she was talking to some of the other employees. When I go to Dutch I want to enjoy my drink, not fear that it's gonna get thrown across the room before I even receive it. This is so unprofessional and I don't think this is the type of behavior you should be demonstrating in front of customers. Wonderful coffee ..ordered my favorite hazelnut truffle coffee and forget to mentioned no soft top.. i asked for it to be remade and the worker just took off the soft top off and handed it back to me...i was under the impression it was a remade drink..i had a reaction because the soft top did not agree with my stomach and i threw up driving home..I guess the worker did not understand i wasn't trying to be difficult just needed my drink remade.. so due to this experience its off of my list of places to visit in the AV. read more
