I got two different acids bowls and a pistachio matcha. The first bowl was a dragon fuel açaí bowl, it had had great flavor and fresh fruit. My second bowl was the original OG bowl the presentation of it wasn't as nice as my other bowl but the flavor was still yummy! I did a build your own bowl with chicken, the orange saffron/carrot rice with mixed greens & a little bit of everything (topping wise) since it was my first time here. I was really excited to try this place out for the first time but was really turned off by the service. When you first walk in it's not clear where you're supposed to order. The register is hidden on the far left (which then opens up to another dining room connected to it) and there is also a long counter on the right side and no one bothered to guide the customers nor were there any signs stating where to order so I followed the customer that was there before me with his daughter. The employee told us she would be right with us and once she helped the gentleman in front of me she answered his question about drinks then she led him to the far left after all that yet she never made it clear or stated that the line should be over there. I waited patiently for my turn as I was next (and I was the only one there that was standing up waiting behind the counter) and another customer walks into the shop right when it's going to be my turn and she helps her instead because she went to the other side! She knew I was next yet didn't say anything. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and thought maybe she thought I was not ready but when she finally helped me she never once addressed if I was indeed ready and that she made a mistake by not helping me next when she saw me waiting patiently there... That was so frustrating and I can see it happening to many people if you're not a regular knowing where to order since it happened to the man before me and then to me. If the employee would have apologized then I wouldn't have minded (as I would have done so if I was the worker, basic customer service skills). As a past 5+ years customer service manager, I think the company should train the employees on better customer skills as not acknowledging your customers will create a bad experience and cost you losing future customers/sales. read more

We built our bowl to have a base of both galaxy rice and greens, which we'll do again and again as it was so very good. We both had the Jackfruit which was delicious. I can't even rave enough about this wonderful little cozy restaurant. I had the chicken because chicken is always my go-to, and I have never tasted such delicious chicken. I don't know what they marinate it in, but man, it was delicious. The wonderful lady who helped us first-timers with our order was so friendly and patient. I had a Vegan wrap with everything (Sweet Potatoes, Tofu Scramble, Tortilla strips, a bunch of veggies, etc) including that Peruvian Green sauce and literally almost stopped what I was doing, drove 30 minutes to my moms just to slap my daddy. It was that good! And I'm not vegan, though can be Vegan-ish if the food looks and smells alright ‍ Truly impressed with this small yet big vibe on The Blvd. it's a triple A+ after I found out it's also Black & Woman Owned and full of an awesome and diverse staff always willing to help you choose from their crazy selection of eats and drinks.
