When my friends and I were deep in conversations, I forgot we were in a closed room and it felt like we were sitting at a table in a forest instead! We loved all of the food and drinks that were served. We had blueberry scones, tea, lemonade, various finger sandwiches, salad, cheesecake, and sparkling cider. We were able to take home the leftover food and we had plenty to eat between the 6 of us. Denise is friendly and easy to communicate with both via email and in person. However, I find the food to be pretty mediocre, so I would personally pass on the food and drinks and just come for the games and activities. Unfortunately, the service could definitely use some improvement. Two of the staff members we interacted with were incredibly kind, respectful, and helpful. However, there was a young woman at the stock/inventory counter who was very rude and seemed unwilling to answer questions or provide assistance. She ultimately helped us only because my son wanted to redeem his tickets for prizes. I would definitely recommend that management provide additional customer-service training for staff. Chuck E. Cheese is a place for kids to have fun, but it is also a paid service where positive customer interaction and communication are important.
