We went to this location for a birthday party, we have been to few other similar places such as Peekaboo, Pump it up (so famous) and Luv 2 Play, but there was something not as enjoyable with this place. Pizzas were burnt, were late, chicken pizza had 1 piece of chicken on the tip of the slice (come on). The game area was so chaotic, it's a small place so you will always be in the way of other players or other games and that's annoying. Some of the games were broken! Ended up getting hurt at this location today. Upon exiting the guy scanning the exit bar code on my arm was in a rush and didn't bother opening the metal sliding gate. I had no knowledge of it swinging back towards you upon exiting and the metal gate slammed back into my elbow and now there's a large bruise in that area. A kid around that height could have easily been hit in the face. Management seriously needs to have a talk with their staff about this potential health hazard. We came here on Labor Day and it was busier than I imagined. But I do want to mention that the staff were great: There was a white lady with blonde hair & lashes that was very efficient and nice, helped us check in and get our game card ready. Then there was a younger African American girl with short hair who was very friendly and replaced my fork for the salad bar. Then another African American girl with long hair in a pony tail got help because the paper for one of the picture taking machine ran out. And another gentleman found me and gave me the photo that never came out because the paper was empty. Like for real, this place had great service! The place was nice and clean, some of the machines weren't working properly, but there was a gentleman fixing machines & even gave my daughter one free play, lol. I had a salad for 12.99$ but it was all you can eat so totally worth it. They do have cups for water which was great because I don't drink soda. Stopped by here while on vacation as a means of entertaining the kids for a few hours. I've been to many locations but this one wasn't the cleanest. While first entering there was a strong Oder that's instantly hits you. Although I did see employees wiping down tables the floors had crumbs on it, machines had empty pizza plates and napkins and it just wasn't the usual cleanliness I'm used to. The service was okay, nothing extraordinary and nothing awful. Everything was mediocre. We didn't end up ordering food and just played games and left after two hours. The manager, Melanie, was sitting on her phone while there were about 5 people in line waiting to be helped. We all stood in line for about 10 minutes, all the while she's still on her phone and looking up at the line, not offering any help. I walked over to a man busily down on his hands and knees working on fixing some of the machines and he kindly got up, stopped what he was doing to help everyone in line. Walking through the door the first thing we notice was the place was small and crowded. While using the restroom (#2) I ran out of toilet paper. I had to do the next best thing. I was in there wiping my ass with seat covers. ;( Talk about ass itching for 90 minutes while my kids play games. My 3 year old absolutely loves coming here!! The ambiance is perfect for kids. I love that they have a separate area with games for kids her age. She loves the game where she has to feed a dog plastic balls and also the Scooby doo mystery machine van game. Although the food can get a bit pricey, it's nice to have that option to order food. The place was super crowded and did seem understaffed. This visit took place on a Saturday around 6:00pm On the way out again no staff member was around checking stamps on the way out. I recommend not booking on a Sunday. The food was okay we ordered pizza cheese combination and pepperoni. I went to a bday party there last night (8/3/24), once we went in, the ambiance was great, kids having fun running around, the service and food was pretty good. The kids in our group had a blast. Now, when I tell you the ending of our evening was G-H-E- T-T-O AF. First off, the staff is between 17-19 yo. Manager is 19. So no real leg to stand on when it comes to controlling situations, can't even kick out unruly customers. Basically a party was making a big fuss all night about how pizza was being made (mind you they were related to a staff member), I guess finally a staff member got fed up, some words were exchanged and it got headed real fast. Noticed a girl left the establishment & came back with her hands in her pocket. Yeaaa no we out. I know when I am in danger. Police were called and they showed up about 10 min later since staff was scared to call so a customer had to do it. So yea. This was such a great deal until I came on the weekend. Some blonde lady I believe her name is Rebekah came and told me my children aren't allowed to jump on the trampoline without a wristband. I've been using our fun pass here for over 3 weeks and never once have been told i needed to purchase anything extra to let my kids jump. This isn't the first time I've seen her and she's incredibly rude anytime someone interacts with her. I'm not sure why she chooses to work at a place with children when she clearly has such a negative personality. Maybe the Hayward location treats guests better. "Tightwad Gets $5 Pizza, Meets Furry Puppet-Band" How could I resist? I just had to try that $5 Pizza. Of course during this virus crisis, you can't eat in the dining room, but they still have take out here. They have quite a few options, most of which are really a great deal. Naturally I had to try the $5 Pizza. They were out of the $1 ice cream sandwiches. Honestly, I did not did not have high hopes. They obviously cannot make money selling pizza for $5. I was surprised--it was actually tasty. Yes it is a thin crust pizza, and little tomato sauce, but not bad, not bad. Even my wife said it was good. This is quite a large facility. During normal times, they have a mechanical band that goes off every hour. They're like big furry puppets. The puppet-band is near the large birthday party area. My girls might be a little too old for a birthday party here, but I'm bringing them anyway, cuz I want to hear this band. Naturally, they have a ton of arcade games. Raul, the senior manager today, explained how it works. You buy a card for a certain number of points, or a certain length of time. It's $23 for one hour of unlimited play. That is, you don't actually have to put quarters or money into any of the arcade machines. Here's a tip: You can actually pause the card-time, while you're eating. You bring your card to a little machine and it stops counting the time while you eat. Very clever! At $23 per hour of machine play, I think I have figured out how this place makes money. I had an opportunity to talk with the general manager Tony, as well as the senior manager, Raul. I was really impressed with how they're making the best of a difficult situation. Two very friendly people, coping with difficult circumstances. The entry line is cordoned off, so you don't mix with other patrons. They have hand sanitizer throughout the line. I really appreciate that. Please patronize our local businesses. I'm coming back to get one of those dollar ice cream sandwiches. Plus, I just have to see that big furry puppet band. We had a reserved party Sat, 7/13 for our Daughter turning 5. First, booking was very easy online, we also received emails leading up to the party to make adjustments, which was also easy. We arrived and were pleasantly greeted by our party host Adriane (sorry if it's misspelled) and Kassidy (sorry if it's wrong) who was in training. Adriane went down the whole party plans with us, our reservation, had the table set up and nicely decorated with a sign and my daughter's name, with table decorations and cups/plates/napkins. We were given the exact count of our game cards and wristband for the party girl. Adriane checked on us throughout and gave us friendly reminders about what happens next like when the food comes out, when Chucky comes out, dip n dots, how much longer the kids can play, where to redeem prizes. Adriane, along with the rest of the really kind and helpful staff danced with Chucky, sang HBD, and it was just so fun! Really appreciate our host, the venue, the game selections, game prizes, but also all the people working there on 7/13 from 12:30-3pm. I know I'm of the older groups but they charged me for 4 of the cards and I got one. I realize places are trying to get as much money from you as they can but 144.00 dollars for 1 card, come on now. Then when I tried to explane it to them they basically have said to bad so sad. I brought my kids to play here 1/19/25. The place was very busy and the tables was very dirty.They had a new worker at the register that didn't know much so the line took long because she needed help. I see two workers cleaning the birthday area which wasn't very dirty but the regular tables was full of trash. I had to clear and clean my own table. Haven't been to CEC in a while but i'm glad we did for kids birthday party. The place was clean and wasn't insanely crazy with kids and families like Johns incredible. All the tables were booked for parties and staff was quick to set up party after party. Hostess Taliyah was very responsive to request throughout RSVP slot. She even followed up after the party was over while we were there playing games and trading in tickets. Guest loved the in-house made pizza and buffalo wings and celery. Kids loved the dip and dots ice cream and our Bundt cakes that we were able to bring in. Management was great to resolve any concerns or issues on the spot. Games were easy to use with the unlimited play wrist bands or cards that we purchased.
