Parklab Garden, 1/17/21. Yelp Elite Badge Week: Domingo's International
    Lisa X.

First found out about Parklab Gardens through a Yelp Elite Event during the pandemic. After that event, I actually came back a few times (sometimes by myself, with the hubby, and sometimes with our pup), but I didn't get to play miniature golf on any of those times. So when my out-of-town friend came to visit me recently and wanted to do a girls day together, I thought it would be so fun to book a tee time at the Stagecoach Greens for us. And yes, we both loved it! What a fun way to start our day! We got there for one of the earlier tee times and we had so much fun! This mini golf course resides inside Parklab Gardens. There's also a bar cart, the Watering Hole, and various other food carts within it. There are also cabanas you can rent for bigger groups. Perfect for parties, group events, and team building events. Also, Parklab Gardens is across from Spark Social, so lots of food trucks to try within walking distance.

Parklab Gardens is a great space to entertain kids, (sit on a tiny train), bored teens, (photo booth), & adults (mini-golf). Pick up your clubs at the on-site cabin. Not free. The grown-up lounge area is complete with open air tent, comfy chairs and a fire pit. Green space! Yeah, i'd like to see how long that would last in the Tenderloin, or pretty much anywhere else than this pristine planned community, directly across the street from a giant food truck roundup. If the food truck area is too crowded, there's plenty of space at Parklab Gardens to eat your take-out. I have to say, I'm a bit perplexed by the back portion which looks like a tourist trap you'd find in the Arizona desert. Ye old Wild West faux town. There's the Barbary Coast "Saloon". Funky wood signs for the Watering Hole, and Boom & Bust Course. (btw, it's Boom OR Bust). Anyway, i'm kind of jealous.

Got invited to a birthday party and this is where they hosted the event. Such a cute place!! There's a golf play area and plenty of picnic tables to sit at. There are about 10 food trucks at the Parklab Gardens (Mexican, Filipino, donuts, poke, halal- just to name a few) and a truck that serves margaritas and drinks! This reminds me of Off the Grid but much better! Across the street, there's tons of other food trucks as well. For some reason, it's much busier there today but maybe cause there's more food choices? Either way, food prices are reasonable and it's a good place for date night, random weekend getaway or to host any event! We found street parking about a block away and walked.

Great for group happy hour or gathering. Reservable cabanas. When I last went a couple years ago, I remember the food truck selection to be limited but seems like they had a few more options on weekday evening. Mini golf on one side - never played before but looks fun.

I have been to multiple events at Parklab Gardens from foodie events, to matcha fest, to a recent political gathering I attended here and I am never disappointed. It is a beautiful space, centrally located with lots of parking nearby and transportation options. There are lots of food options and space to sit and enjoy the day or a snack or a chat with a friend or all of the above. I get excited when I hear something is going to be happening here and I can't wait until my next visit.

Located not too far from the Chase Center & Oracle Park, right across the street from Spark Social SF is this outdoor area where you can rent tents, cabanas, and areas to host an outdoor party. There is a mini golf area within it too. I easily rented a cabana for a Saturday morning brunch event during a bachelorette. You reserve online and pay, and you're only allowed to bring water and cake but you can get anything else from the food trucks on this side or at spark social. It allows for people to have options. Dogs are welcome and perfect for all ages. From coffees, ice cream, to drinks and desserts. They have a variety of Asian, Hispanic, and American food trucks. I really enjoyed the mini donuts at the park lab greens side. And they have plenty of vegan/vegetarian options. Parking can be difficult, it's mainly street parking so you have to drive around a bit to get lucky. Or you can park in some neighboring parking lots and pay hourly, I usually park at the parking lots off of Nelson rising lane; I think they're the medical office building lots. Some people park at the chase center parking too.

Parklab is a concept and a collective that recognizes the potential to create open space experiences with both temporary and long-term durations. This garden has few food trucks and a mini-golf play field.

Excellent event and venue. Specious so everyone can "social distance". Lots of really nice food trucks with a wide Vado of offerings. I chose Wicked Star pork belly and was really pleased. They ran out of the crab fried rice and the coffee so unfortunately I couldn't have either. I recommend visiting and spending an afternoon here.

Visited the Parklab Gardens less than an hour before closing time on a Saturday, and the best part was no waiting for anything... though some trucks, such as Rasa Rasa, were already closed. We enjoyed a shrimp caesar salad and fried mac n cheese balls from the Chef's Truck, and the brussel sprouts and fish taco from Domingo's International Kitchen & Fusion, and agreed that these dishes were generous in size and very tasty. We also got a couple drinks from the Watering Hole, and these were made well and perfect for our late night meal. We stayed till closing time, the place was fairly empty, but remained well-lit with some visitors still playing mini golf until late. I feel like this spot is just an extension of Spark Social across the street, with Parklab Gardens seemingly more spacious or spread out. Nothing too outstanding or unique about this food park, but it offers a clean and beautiful setting and food options that didn't disappoint this past weekend.

If that's your vibe by all means party away at this outhouse of a club. Maybe it was a bad night but I swear I've seen cleaner restrooms in the tenderloin's public parks.

As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. I've attended multiple events at Dominic's Catering over the years--from intimate gatherings of around 40 people to large events with over 200 guests, including parties, funerals, holiday celebrations, and family events. Every experience has been outstanding. The food is consistently delicious. I've enjoyed everything from simple buffet-style meals to elegant prime rib dinners complete with sorbet palate cleansers between courses. They truly offer options for every budget, and you definitely get what you pay for. One of my favorite memories was a New Year's Eve party. After an incredible prime rib dinner and a night of dancing, they surprised everyone just after midnight with a complimentary sandwich-making station to help soak up the alcohol before guests headed home. It was such a thoughtful touch that everyone appreciated. Their Mother's Day and Father's Day brunches are also fantastic. The food is always excellent, and they have plenty of seating for large groups. Even when we've made last-minute plans, they've been incredibly accommodating. The venue itself is another huge plus. The space can be transformed to fit almost any theme. I've attended everything from elegant quinceañeras to fun jungle-themed celebrations, and each event felt completely unique. Their room rental fees are also much more reasonable than many other venues, allowing you to spend more of your budget on decorations--or simply save the money. Parking is free and plentiful, which is a huge convenience for guests. Most importantly, the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive, making every event feel special. I will absolutely continue hosting my family's celebrations at Dominic's Catering and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and an affordable, versatile event venue. If you'd like, I can also make it sound a little more personal and conversational, which tends to do very well on Google Reviews.

Seems like several of these food courts are popping up in the area, however, since there aren't that many restaurants in the biotech district. The group has already successfully launched several other spots nearby in the Oyster Point/East Grand Ave area such as Foundry & Lux and another new market hall concept with more Italian food called Riposo. Anyway, building has cool, modern architecture with plenty of parking and they serve a variety of different foods ranging from sandwiches and salads to Korean, American or Mexican cuisine. I went with the double stack smash burger and it was pretty good. The meat was moist and tasty but it was a little soggy from the geneous sauteed onions and some sort of white sauce. Comes with fries that weren't bad, not as crispy as I'd like but not too greasy either. Got sort of crowded in the main seating area when I left around 12:30 but wasn't bad when i arrived at 11:45. Also they have good amount of outside seating, too, so I think you can bring pets. But this does cater to the workers in the area so didn't see any pets while I was there and the Market Hall is only open weekdays from 11-2.

A Lifesaver for Our Wedding -- Exceptional Service and Stunning Space!…read more If I could give Carlos and Marigold more than five stars, I would. We were scheduled to have a small outdoor wedding ceremony at Mission Dolores Park, but when the San Francisco weather forecast turned "rough" just days before our April 1st date, we were in a total panic. I reached out to Carlos at the last minute, and the level of service we received was nothing short of extraordinary. Here is why you should book your next event here: Incredible Responsiveness: Carlos responded to my inquiry almost immediately and hopped on a call with me the same day to iron out the details. He made a high-stress situation feel completely manageable. Accommodating & Flexible: Even with our last-minute request, he was so generous with the timing. He allowed us to come in early at 2:00 PM to set up flowers and told us there was "no rush" to leave, letting our group stay and enjoy a drink before our dinner reservation. The Space is Stunning: We held our ceremony upstairs in a beautiful, dry, and welcoming space featuring a gorgeous mural. It was the perfect backdrop for our 10-person group--intimate, stylish, and full of character. Personal Touch: Carlos even provided his personal cell number for day-of coordination to ensure everything went smoothly. That level of care is rare.
