Had a fun time at Presidio Bowl but nothing particularly impressionable about the experience (good or bad). Parking was easy to find because there is a lot (we went on a Saturday at 6:30pm). The bowling alley itself is quite small (I believe 12 lanes). There wasn't a wait when we called a few hours prior but made a reservation just in case. There were not too many ball size options imo. I tried searching around and had trouble finding medium for the lighter balls (8, 9). Also, each lane has a table for seating but not enough chairs. We had six people but only 4 seats per table. There's also no where by your table to put your things (coats, purse, etc) other than on your table. There's some additional tables where the ball racks are but it's kind of separated from the actual lane so probably useful for a larger party to drink but not so helpful for smaller parties. Lastly, the price (listed on their website; up to $80/hour and $7.50 for shoe rental) is just very expensive. I've been to another number of other alleys that are larger with better seating/ambiance. The service was not notably good. The arcade is very small. All in all, the experience is average. But as one of the few alleys in SF, it offers what it's supposed to.

Pretty neat place here at the Presidio. Ordered some food before bowling. We shared a Cobb salad and BLAT sandwich with fries. All was delicious. I was impressed with the salad. It was very good for a bowling alley. Lots of toppings. The sandwich was good also. They fries were perfectly crispy. We also got some beer. They have a really good beer list too as well as a full bar. Reservations are needed to bowl too. Camt wait to come back. Oh, and thr view is SPECTACULAR!!

I had a lot of fun visiting Presidio Bowl! I went after work on a Friday evening, and there was plenty of parking outside. The inside of the bowling alley was clean. My team and I rented a few lanes for two hours, and it was pretty smooth. I liked the scoreboards; you can customize them with your face and it's just funny to watch the animations on your downtime. They had a wide array of drinks and snacks to choose from. Their pizza and wings are great! The only issue we had was after our second game. There was an issue with my lane, resulting in a 10 minute pause so that maintenance could fix the issue. I'd go again if I could!

Presidio Bowl is clean, and the graphics are kinda cool. The arcade is a little small, but it's cute and does the job. The kids had a great time here. The kitchen was not open when we were there, but it's all good. One con that was noticeable was that a lot of the lanes needed some kind of maintenance or some of them were messing up for miscellaneous reasons. One thing I do want to comment on is that management was very pleasant towards us. Our reservation was at 12 but due to a clerical error, we showed up at 10:30. The manager went out of his way to accommodate us, even when it was just him. That really says a lot about a place, so thank you!

Just finished taking a bunch of students here and it was such a great and seamless experience. Their website is fantastic, user friendly and super easy to make a reservation. Since it was raining, we were a tad late, and they were still very accommodating (and they also said they can wait 30min to hold a rezzie). The venue is clean, kitchen staff is extremely quick on the food orders, and they didn't make a fuss when one of my teenagers decided to be a tad destructive. The staff are super knowledgeable and kind and just overall quick with all the things. This place is fantastic. FYI the lightest balls they have are 9s, so hope you got muscle!

Presidio Bowl is not just a bowling alley, it's a great place to stop by for a bite to eat or some drinks as well. Ask for Jameson! -- Food -- This bowling alley has a good selection of snacks and food. My favorite is the spicy chicken sandwich and you can't go wrong with some curly fries. -- Drinks -- Presidio Bowl has a full bar with cocktails and a great selection of beers, ciders, and hard seltzers. -- Atmosphere -- The bowling alley is a traditional bowling alley, but they have a very cozy outdoor space as well with fireplaces and heaters. -- Service -- Jameson is the rockstar of Presidio bowl you'll find behind the bar. He always provides great service and goes out of his way to make sure everyone's having a good time.

Claire was friendly, helpful and responsive throughout the whole process via emails, from beginning to end, and for going above and beyond helping me ease last few concerns I had. I also want to thank the staff from the reserved lanes to the food. Everything was taken care of. The food and sodas came out on time. I was able to bring my own dessert. Everyone loved it! There were plenty of food and desserts left over for my guests to take home. The staff was attentive and accomodating and made my guests feel welcome. Everyone had fun bowling and hanging out. Good food, great company, and good vibes! I will definitely book another event in the future! Thanks again! I appreciate everything!

Fast forward to present day and I took my partner here for the classic bowl experience. We came on a rainy Sunday early afternoon, and was able to snag a lane. It was pretty packed because they had league bowling going on. $5 for shoes, $6.50 per game, per person. We decided to go the hour route and for two people, shoes, 1hr of bowling, it costs $40 total. Honestly, pretty good pricing considering we were able to bowl 4 games since it was only 2 of us. If we had gone the per game route, it would've been $12 more. The lanes were in great shape, they definitely have upgraded their systems since I was here years ago. We had some issues with our lane to start. We picked up the phone near our lane and they were able to fix the problems right away. They had plenty of bowling balls available and they were all neatly organized by size and weight. My bowling scores were atrocious but I still had a great time. Upgraded kitchen to order food, renovated bar area, and arcade, although the new arcade seems dull, what happened to time crisis and a real pop-a-shot basketball game?? Sad but not the end of the world. Overall, Classic is the type of bowling alley I enjoy. No frills, no gimmicks, just a classic bowling alley that transport you back to simpler times. Will definitely be back!
