She was so friendly and welcoming from the get go. I knew it was going to be a fun one! My favorite thing about Epic is that no class is the same. This was super high energy and cardio focused with eight rounds we did FIVE times. I was sore for days! It's only 45 minutes including the warmup and cool down, but you really get a ton out of it. The studio itself is smaller than the one I'm used to but there were about eight people that came and room for everyone to move about. It also felt very clean and I appreciated Dan mopping up our sweat as things went along. I would definitely come back the next time I'm in San Francisco and would encourage anyone looking for a fun and new workout to give it a try!

I originally saw a 6-week challenge ad on Facebook and I thought, hey why not. The main reason and motivator being that I wanted to be in really good shape for my wedding this Fall and all the associated pre-wedding festivities. I saw this as a really great way to launch my fitness journey and kick-start a new me! After a few email exchanges, I worked with Jenn P. to set me up for the 6-weeks. She also took some measurements / pictures and loaded me up with information on how to eat and how to prepare for the challenge with EPIC. I worked hard and showed up to classes 5 days a week and ate according to the meal plan. I really enjoyed the classes and I loved how encouraging all of the instructors were during the challenge. All of the instructors were so friendly and really encouraged me to extend myself a little more or push a little harder and I really think that was key in my workouts. I mean, who doesn't work harder when people are rooting for them? I didn't really lose any weight for this challenge, but it wasn't really my goal to. What i did get was a new-found appreciation for workouts that challenge you and are super fun, but don't leave you feeling like you've been hit by a bus. I also accomplished two major things during my 6 weeks - being able to complete the traverse down and back again and make it to the top of the rope climb. Feeling super positive about what is to come in the next 6 weeks of my fitness journey, but I can tell you that this is the lowest body fat percentage I've been at in a WHILE! :)

Kwanua, Jenn, Tiffany, Fabi and Joseph provided such amazing support and community. The classes pushed me hard in the best kind of way, and I felt stronger and happier after every visit. The small class format allows for focus on each person and creating community. This women-owned, women-oriented space is more than just a workout studio--it's a community that lifts you up both physically and mentally. When I first joined, I didn't have much experience with strength training, but the coaches(Kwanua is the best!!!) were incredibly supportive and knowledgeable. They met me where I was, encouraged progress at my own pace, and celebrated every win along the way. I really felt they cared for my well being. The environment is welcoming, non-judgmental, and full of amazing women who genuinely cheer each other on. There's a real sense of camaraderie and mutual respect here that's hard to find elsewhere.

My energy level is up; feeling stronger, confidence is beaming and my clothes are definitely fitting looser these days! All the trainers that we had at this Boot Camp have been great. Let me start with the main man who was there every day, Derek Galanis. He is an extremely knowledgeable and experienced trainer. He has outstanding work ethic and it shows through his work outs and teachings. Derek is a very personable, down to earth, solid, cool dude. My Boot Camp class also had Jake Shields and Josh Clopton, from the UFC, who provided us some awesome training once a week. I highly recommend this Boot Camp for anyone looking to improve on their fitness, learn MMA techniques and have FUN while getting fit!! No experience needed, I sure didn't have any when I started and it was fun learning and training. Can't wait for the next Boot Camp, sign me up!!!! Derek, Josh and Jake- Thanks for everything!!!! You all are true professionals and damn good at what you do!

We trained HARD from 6-730 am including learning and refining brazilian ju-jitsu, muy thai, boxing, and wrestling techniques. Derek is really patient, positive, and uplifting in his teaching style and when there is a large class you can really feel the energy in the room as we go through our workouts. I am an experienced martial artist and signed up for Derek's bootcamp looking for training in multiple disciplines as well as the cardio conditioning training needed to fight in matches that last multiple rounds. I came out of that bootcamp with a huge cardio improvement than when I started. Derek helped me build my cardio as well as taught me how to relax and keep my energy for many rounds. Since our bootcamp I have developed a great relationship with Derek and have fought a few amateur fights under his training and cornering and plan to keep working with him as I build up my record. Derek also writes articles for MMA publications on energy systems with fight training and his knowledge of this is reflected in his different and varied workouts. His bootcamps aren't only for people looking to fight either, they are for all types of people looking to get into shape, have fun, and learn about the sport of MMA. Our bootcamp had fighters, doctors, professionals, engineers, tech people and more. We all worked together, pushing ourselves, and had a blast listening to good workout music. Thank you Derek! Look forward to working with you soon! I know Derek teaches many people and trains them to fight and get into shape as well as works side by side with the top well known MMA champions from the Bay Area including Gil Melendez and Jake Shields. If you want to do killer workouts, learn some fun techniques, and hang out in the morning with a really solid guy call up Derek Galanis and sign up for his El Nino MMA bootcamp!

It's been 4 months since I started working out with Jaime and the results are clear -- I can wrangle my boys, carry heavy things, and have more endurance in all the tasks of being a mom. I feel stronger. Diakadi's trainers go through a rigorous interview process and looking around every time I go people are working out in a way that supports long term health and fitness, vs the way group fitness pushes you but often at the expense of injury. With all the literature on the importance of muscle mass for long term health, this is hands down the best investment in myself I've made in the past few years.

Fair warning: he will absolutely kick your ass, but that's exactly what makes his approach so effective. The combination of one-on-one care (no PT-aids!), a spotless facility, and exceptional front desk staff (shout out to Heather!) created a seamless experience from day one. Under Benny's expert guidance, I've not only recovered but gained the confidence to push my limits again. More importantly, I now understand how to keep symptoms at bay if issues arise down the road. What sets Benny apart is his commitment to identifying root causes. Those long hours hunched at my desk? Yeah, surprise, surprise...that was a major factor. His curated exercise plan and practical lifestyle recommendations were game-changers. His exercise instructions were so thorough that I rarely needed to follow up, though he was always just a quick email away when I did. While Graspmore doesn't take insurance, the ROI on these visits is easily 10x what you'd get at other clinics that rush you through appointments and send you off with generic exercise sheets. The personalized care plan and lasting results are worth every penny. Six weeks later, I'm back to full strength. Graspmore will keep these old bones moving for years to come, and Benny is absolutely the man for the job. Bonus points: the location on 17th makes it perfectly bikeable! BIG THANK YOU to the entire team!
