I've attended multiple events at Dominic's Catering over the years--from intimate gatherings of around 40 people to large events with over 200 guests, including parties, funerals, holiday celebrations, and family events. I've enjoyed everything from simple buffet-style meals to elegant prime rib dinners complete with sorbet palate cleansers between courses. They truly offer options for every budget, and you definitely get what you pay for. One of my favorite memories was a New Year's Eve party. After an incredible prime rib dinner and a night of dancing, they surprised everyone just after midnight with a complimentary sandwich-making station to help soak up the alcohol before guests headed home. It was such a thoughtful touch that everyone appreciated. Their Mother's Day and Father's Day brunches are also fantastic. The food is always excellent, and they have plenty of seating for large groups. Even when we've made last-minute plans, they've been incredibly accommodating. The venue itself is another huge plus. The space can be transformed to fit almost any theme. I've attended everything from elegant quinceañeras to fun jungle-themed celebrations, and each event felt completely unique. Their room rental fees are also much more reasonable than many other venues, allowing you to spend more of your budget on decorations--or simply save the money. Parking is free and plentiful, which is a huge convenience for guests. Most importantly, the staff is amazing. Everyone is friendly, professional, and attentive, making every event feel special. I will absolutely continue hosting my family's celebrations at Dominic's Catering and highly recommend them to anyone looking for great food, exceptional service, and an affordable, versatile event venue. I went here for a wedding and the venue was amazing! Ample room for dancing and dining. There was a stage and enough bathrooms so they weren't crowded. Lots of parking and near the freeway. I will definitely consider this place for any event I plan. read more

What I love about this place and working with the Dominic's group is their willingness to make recommendations or allow customizing the menu for any event. I had one of the best experiences ever from the beginning to the very end. I contacted the Dominic's SF, Mikey got back to me right away. He's was willing to meet with me the very next business day and in one day I had a hall to start planning my event. He explained everything so thoroughly. This event center has a big but most of all a safe parking lot, it's all gated. Mikey let my decorators come in early enough to set everything up and not feel rushed at all. My entire family and friends loved the space and the way it was decorated made it all look so beautiful they all said they would love to start having their events at Dominic's SF. If you're looking for a venue to host your next social event in San Francisco, I highly recommend Dominic's SF! The organization I belong to has hosted three events at Dominic's SF and each time we've received exceptional service and a wonderful meal, which our attendees rave about. Dominic's SF Catering Manager, Tarah, is wonderful to work with! Tarah makes the whole process easy from the first point of contact to being available to assist with last minute changes, as needed. I appreciate Tarah's responsiveness and the professionalism with which she captures our event details, making sure we are all on the same page. Elvira and the rest of the day of event staff do a phenomenal job. Food service is well organized, making sure a group of 170 receives each course at roughly the same time (no small feat). As for the food, the quality is excellent and the portions are generous. Prime Rib and Stuffed Petrale Sole are fantastic! As for the venue, Dominic's SF uses Union Espanola De California (Spanish Cultural Center). This is a spacious venue (more than enough room for a ballroom dancing group) with built in wood floor and all the charm of a historic hall which are difficult to find these days. In particular, we have held our events in the Picasso room, which has a built in stage and bar. Plus there's onsite parking included for your attendees, a must for holding an event in San Francisco. On June 8th, 2024, we hosted a Celebration of Life event for about 120 people for my late brother Steve at Dominics SF. It could not have been more perfect. The venue was setup beautifully with a buffet table down the center of the room. The food and the dessert bar were absolutely delicious, which also included a no host bar. Went to the opening brunch offered here. It was wonderful! Table cloths, waiters clearing your plates, delicious "all you can eat" set up on the middle of the floor that never got over crowded with people.
