Stopped here for a beer. They were having a record sale while we were there. Lots of choices of beers. They didn't have my favorite which is Hella jalapeño. So I tried the ghost monster. It was pretty good. They also have a pizza vendor outside making the MOST incredible wood fire pizza. We got the Gilroy pizza. And it was amazing. I look forward to coming back

We attended an engagement party here and it was a blast! They had a corner room that was very intimate and super cute. The actual bar set up was big and roomy and super chill. Video games, picnic tables and tall ceilings and loved the beers provided. Kid friendly and then the food trucks outside too. Super cool vibe.

Enjoyed a flight here. My partner and I are into sours and Barebottle delivered! Service was order at bar and was quick and easy even though it was busy. When we came they had bbq in front and you can order pizza via a QR code that is next door. The bbq made indoors a bit smokey but wasn't too bad. Kids and pets are allowed indoors. There are also arcade games in the back to enjoy. I would come back as I really enjoy their flavors. They also list historical flavors in the restroom area.

Bare Bottle Brewery is about as close as you can get to a family friendly neighborhood brewery. Love the spacious industrial interior within view of the vats used to brew their extensive list of beers. There is separate non-alcoholic area with electronic games where kids can hang out. I stuck to the Beet and Apple Kombucha due to my low alcohol diet. It was delicious! But, my friends raved about the beers they sampled.

Beet Kombucha! Jurassic drink! I think

Once again, this is proving to be a nice, local hangout that is family-friendly where families can come with their kids! There are some fun arcade games on one side and drinks on the other! I want to try all of the drinks - almost a Periodic Table-worthy size of drink selections listed in neat, logical order! The people there were awesome, the environment was friendly, but do reserve tables and lounge seating in advance! Pro tip, that was! Just park a little farther for some exercise, but people who get dropped off at the front while cars are waiting in that one lane may get honked - repeatedly. Fyi

Kombucha // Lean mean machine

Kinda difficult to find parking. We parked at the top of the hill by the neighborhood and walked down. I was surprised at how big this brewery was! Lots of games and people socializing indoors and outdoors. There was a Mexican food truck parked on the premise and they even have Spinning Dough and Rice Lyfe to order with your drinks! I mainly came for the food! I was able to sample a few drinks before committing to one. I liked the Lean mean machine (sour) since I'm not much of an IPA beer drinker. I wish there were more sour flavors or ciders. My friend went with the kombucha (beer and apple) which I didn't taste much flavor. Fast service, although I felt like the staff could be a bit more friendlier.

Love this place for its variety of beers! We got a flight of 5 beers and they had a quite complex flavor profile. There are a lot more to try!

We went on a Tuesday for trivia night from 7-9. If you do this, aim to come earlier for a table, and aim to get a table closer to the bar so you can see the TV screen, which is where all the questions are posted. Besides the trivia area, there's an arcade in the back, and a patio in the front. Sometimes, they also hold events in the back area near the bathrooms. Also, at least on Tuesdays, they always have a good truck food dinner, with varying prices. The beers are good. You're allowed to sample a little beer before you buy.

I've been to Baretbottle a few times. The first time I went was for a birthday party for a one-year old. I've been many times, including for a vinyl record pop-up event. There's a good variety of tasty beer, food trucks outside, and both TV's and games indoors. The brewery is easily accessible via the 24 bus.

Double Mango Flossi

Came here to hang with my SO and we got a flight of 5 which was a lot of beer (they do 5oz pours) ! My favorite (which I took home) was an Imperial version of their super flossi mango lassi-inspired sour called a double mango flossi. It was juicy, vanilla-ey and creamy and made for a nice decadent treat

A pretty great brewery all around from the atmosphere to the beer. They have a huge section of beer including a bunch of non alcoholic options which is great for so many people. I ended up getting the double hazy and it was a solid one: Fruity, juicy and a little funky which I like. There is plenty of seating but it fills up fast with how popular it is. Some of the spots are even couches but most are wood tables that extends to their outdoor area as well. There is a bunch of games from shuffleboard to pinball. The outdoor area isn't very big but has food trucks usually which is always a bonus. Parking can usually be found at the top of the hill where we saw tones of open spots. As far as San fransisco goes that's a rarely. Just make sure you are ready for a workout up you take that way though. Overall a great spot to hang out and get a beer

Went back again yesterday, it was packed!!! But the gentleman bartender named Phil was a rockstar!!! He continuously knocked out the line of patrons, always greeted us with a big smile and great attitude! His beer knowledge was great and he pours an even better glass of beer!! Another great outing at this fine establishment. It really does make a difference when you have a great people running the show!! Well done y'all, well done!! See y'all again real soon!!

The building was a printing press back in the day, so it's a bit of a maze but that's part of the charm. I've discovered some amazing local businesses. I recently went to their February artisan food fairs, and bought some delicious food products. They had a variety of food vendors: hot sauces, honey, dips, cookies, teas, and more. As for the craft fairs, respect jewelry, candles, cutting boards, and even a few food vendors. That's where I discovered Apisol, a woman-owned company based in the Peninsula that makes delicious sparkling honey beverages. Don't miss the vintage store on the first floor, which has really unique vintage products like postcards, buttons, posters, and more. There are so many fairs in the city, but the vendors here are ones that I haven't seen anywhere else. So check out their insta or their website for dates to their upcoming fairs.

I never heard of this place until a fellow Yelper brought this up to me and I said SFBox? I never heard or been in this location before and I am sure most of you never heard of this place either unless you search for history of the William Randolph Hearst printing press building so many years ago. The building was built in 1926 as a printing plant for the San Francisco Examiner. It is a nice mixed use building like a nice cozy maze to explore the nice layout and architecture of the old print shop. So upstairs about 2 floors and vendors are scattered so it's like a hunt for them, almost like a needle in haystack. Lol Well it's not that hard as you won't miss anyone. Too floor that where you will satisfy your sweet tooth . Yummy. The vendors that were there were a nice mix from tea, cheese, spices, India coffee , Turkish spreads, ice cream, giant cookies, healthy drinks, spreads, and I am sure you will find something you will enjoy. I don't normally buy stuff, but the honey , red beet, 2004 sweet land Bingdao $95 brick tea that is aged 21 years that can make 175 tea servings for $95, Il Fiorello basalmic vinegar was thick and smooth great texture and syrupy taste very captivating and Taste of Levant tahini and their chocolate jar of molasses was excellent and I had to buy them. I worked an event here for a wedding reception a couple of months ago and was in love with the Great Gatsby-themed party. It was both elegant and vintage, with an awesome upstairs area with tiny rabbit-hole bedrooms and a living space with enough room for a photo booth, couches, card tables and a library of vinyl records (you can bet it got me there). And besides it being an amazing space, the workers are what set it apart. Although the hired talent (from DJ to food vendors to wedding planners, etc.) added to the overall feeling of being a GREAT party, the staff is always very friendly, approachable and accommodating. Easy to talk to, easy to find, and they give you enough space to enjoy your night. This venue is fully equipped with a full, open kitchen area (which is beautiful too, by the way) and artsy wall decor all over their bathrooms (but still so damn clean). This venue alone is a gem that is very unique to the Bay... And it almost feels like you're in on an exclusive spot. Come be a cool kid and come to Chez Poulet!

From 24th Street Mission BART Station, head south on Mission and hang a left at Cesar Chavez. While on the south side of the street, keep your eyes peeled for a large red door, part way between Mission & Van Ness Streets. Walking in, you'll see DJ's in the Radio Valencia booth, busily broadcasting. http://radiovalencia.fm/about/ You'll also encounter a small coat rack, a few parked bikes, and a person checking guests in. He asked about food restrictions ~ I think this is geared for folks who pre-arranged. Since I was a last minute stand in and hadn't indicated beforehand, he suggested that I skip the meat (I've been trying to be more vegetarian these days, although the last few have been the contrary). $10 or $20 bottles of red offered at check in ~ we were lucky to purchase the last bottle. I recommend getting there on the early side if you'd like to indulge in wine. Walking into the main dining area, I came across easy on the eyes ambiance ~ long communal tables, dark, candle glow, high loft ceiling, low stage, brick wall, small disco ball. Attire ranged from date-night dressy to casual. Our pre-fixe dinner included (description from the site): Course 1: Potato and leek soup with bacon lardons & crostini Course 2: Mango salad with mixed organic greens & a vinaigrette Course 3: Seared polenta with ricotta cheese (homemade), chives & apricot jam Course 4: 'Roast beast: cooked slow and low... apple cider braised pork shoulder with apple/cabbage slaw dressed with cider vinegar' Course 5: chocolate cupcake with 'goth' motif in honor of David J. I'm all for (plastic) spider rings, cockroaches and centipedes. Three bands performed between courses moving the evening along. David J (of Bauhaus fame) was the 'headliner', taking me back to the '80's with 'St. James Infirmary'. Highlights of CP included Courses 4 & 5, the 50-seat communal atmosphere and live entertainment. John, the MC, did a great job keeping the evening upbeat and flowing. Chez Poulet hosts special events. My online search yielded a few crumbs as to how to keep a pulse on CP happenings. If you want to partake, my recommendation is to set up a Google Alert, or check on BrownPaperTickets.com. The friend that invited me was there because her friend invited her. This friend couldn't make it , hence I came upon Chez Poulet on this dark and stormy night. Woo hoo!
