Holy crap - we had a blast. My husband and I came out to the late night burlesque for our anniversary and it was tons of fun! Would have given them 5 stars if we hadn't waited over 40 minutes for someone to even take our drink order. None of the waitresses wanted to "claim" our table; they just kept on walking by and wouldn't look at us when we waived. But, hopefully that was a one-off situation. read more

Excellent entertainment at a great value!! There are some exceptionally talented people here, who obviously love what they do. I dare you to go and not love it!! I've been here twice, once for a beer event the week of GABF, and once to take my best friend for her birthday to their 80s themed show. The first time wasn't the full experience, so I'll elaborate on the 80s show. The performers make their own costumes, and choreograph their own routines, and it is non-stop entertainment. They have a performer on stilts, ladies on fabric hanging from the ceiling, men who are hairy and men who are pretty, and best of all the female performers come in all shapes and sizes. Great music, great MC, and incredible service from the waitstaff. The servers are on their game! I never went without a drink all night, and the prices weren't horrendous. Nice little break in the show for a potty break, and complimentary coat check which you'll need as they squeeze a lot of people in. I paid for VIP so we were treated to tiaras and a front row seat for my bestie's birthday. Part of the deal was they'll call the VIP up on stage as some point during the show; the only thing I was slightly disappointed by was that they called up all the VIPS (about 7 of them) at one time for a silly little dance-off. I kind of wished they'd allowed each VIP their own moment on stage, but I understand that would probably be difficult with so many. All in all, this made for a super fun night out! We decided to check this out, after a year of talking about it and I'm GLAD we did!! I was there the night of the drunk bachelorette and the guy with the wig that was celebrating his birthday! It was GREAT times! It was seriously non stop entertainment and it was so much fun. At first I was a little skeptical about sitting so close to other people, I have this thing, where I dont like people I don't know sitting by me. But, they turned out to be awesome! They were celebrating her birthday, had been married for 20 years and it was where they had their first date! (Of course it wasn't Lannies then, even better they said) Pierre was flippin' hilarious! . But every single girl was just phenomenal! We were trying to get in there for New Years Eve, but we were too late, the tickets sold out. DEFINITELY CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! read more

I've always been fascinated by burlesque, and have watched quite a bit on electronic media, but had never gone to a live show. A friend took me to Lannie's last week for my birthday, and we were joined by a few of our other friends. The room is gorgeous - opulent and rich, with a side of slightly cheesy mixed in - perfect. We had cocktails (they don't skimp on the booze in your drinks here - but they don't overdo it, either - I had a perfectly mixed White Russian) and some munchies. The hummus and baba ghanoush were just lovely. My friend asked for extra olives, and we were brought an entire martini glass full of them, in addition to the ones served with the platter. The basket of pita triangles went quickly, and the waiter promptly brought us more when asked. We followed that with the smoked trout. We were a little trepitious, since sometimes smoked trout can be mushy, but it was fantastic. There were only three crackers served with the trout, but I'm sure the waiter would have brought us more had we asked - but we were stuffed at that point. And on to the meat of the matter: the show. The show was absolutely delightful. The dancers were all incredibly talented, and even more importantly, seemed to be enjoying what they were doing. We laughed and clapped and gasped and hooted and hollered. I will definitely be going back to Lannie's, and I will be recommending it to friends. Beautiful interior in this theater. Located in the lower level of yes.... a clocktower. Is a gorgeous little cabaret club. I went to see the Vivas Las Divas show (a drag show) and it was hilarious. After the show, the ladies stayed and took pictures with the audience. They have a small menu of bites and desserts. Our waitress was very attentive, especially considering there was a show going on. We had the dipping trio and the cheese medley. Both were very good. I understand the club is owned by a burlesque dancer and if I lived in Denver, I would definitely check out one of her shows or the other shows they have. What a hidden gem! read more

Girls come out, dance a little with a prop, undress and shake their paisley pasted boobs and that's it. Over and over again. The show was lame.... I've never been to Lannies because of the risque nature of the entertainment, but now that she is offering Blues on the first Wednesday of each month, I'm in. What a gorgeous venue. It's small, maybe holding 125 people. It's very swank and cool feeling. The sound and light system are just perfect. I listened to Dan and Erica and Afrosippi for just a $10 cover charge and and had three hours of the most amazing entertainment I've had in a long time. So, here's my vote for more "classy" entertainment! we need a place like this for the rest of us.. read more

A girlfriend of mine wanted to go to Lannie's for her birthday and we were more than happy to oblige. Classy ladies, hilarious MC, swanky digs? Definite Thursday-night win. I had never been to a burlesque show, so I wasn't sure what to expect.... whatever my notions were, Lannie's far exceeded them. What a blast! I was really impressed with the artistry of all the ladies and they made the show so much fun. Naughty Pierre was a wonderful host and we couldn't have asked for better entertainment. The libations on offer were as lovely as the setting, and I definitely enjoyed my fair share. I didn't partake in any of the food options, but everything from apps to zerts looked delicious. We paid $25 for the VIP package (for my friend's birthday we got front-row seats and tiaras/bowler hats) which seems pretty reasonable. The drinks were slightly expensive, but not terribly overpriced. They were strong enough to make the $9-$12 worth it. Seriously, I don't know how I lived in Colorado for five years without being to Lannie's, but now that I've been I can't wait to go back! read more

Half naked ladies, champagne cocktails and noisemakers...oh my! That's right, Lannie's offers all of the above, which pretty much guarantees a good time! Was there last month with a group of Yelp CM's and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Probably a little TOO much, as I spilled an entire drink on Johnny T (sorry Johnny!), yet ordered another :) I have been to several burlesque shows in my day. And I'm not embarrassed to admit it. Nothing wrong with appreciating a beautiful woman... Anyhoo, the gals at Lannie's were pretty impressive. Their routines were well rehearsed and their costumes went well with their individual performances. My personal favorite? The moon landing, complete with helmet and white go-go boots (gotta love them go-go boots!). I would agree that the show went on a little too long. Perhaps if each girl only did one routine, people wouldn't lose interest so quickly? The emcee didn't bother me too much, but he was a bit crass so beware. And if a room full of noisemakers bothers you, this isn't your kind of place! Other than that, I really had a great time! read more

Who doesn't like having cocktails while listening to music and comedy, attempting to figure out magic tricks, and watching amazingly lovely ladies dance the sexy-times burlesque? I know not. I've been to Lannie's a bunch of times, and have never seen the same show twice. The most recent show I went to had a gal that did an Amelia Earhart act made me swoon. I went to a Drag Queen Bingo fundraiser show and just loved the intimate performance space in this historic Denver building. Alexandra Winter was a witty, bawdy and hilarious host. Who knew bingo could be such a blast? Even though we were at the very back, sightlines and sound were excellent. Table service was friendly and efficient and drink prices were reasonable. If the other shows are as entertaining as this one, I've got to start coming here more often. read more

The burlesque shows have gone downhill. The variety of performers is pretty lackluster. No one smiles or seems to have any fun at the burlesque shows. The only decent, funny host is Bender Flames (I think is his name) Performers look tired, unhappy to be there. No one talks to the audience after the shows like they used too. Overheard some performers talking about the "lame" audience in the bathroom, among other snide comments. Tried to compliment a few of the perfoerms to be met with rather holier than thou responses, There's a lot lacking in the shows now, than in the past. Its too bad Lannie is gone. It seems like a lot of conveyor belt burlesque, rinse and repeat. Not a lot of creativity. I would recommend seeking elsewhere for a burlesque show. These tickers are expensive, with unimpressive service, and surly bartenders and staff. read more

Um. . . I have no idea why this place got such high reviews. The seating in this joint is very cramped, plus not every table has an equal view! This place reminded of a gaudy strip club for women. The drinks were OK but nothing special. However the servers were great and the drink were made in a timely manner. Now the acts, wow, I can't believe I paid money for this! I'm sorry if I sound harsh, but I just paid $20 to see acts that were not entertaining. Our show started out with this Irish folk singer and no his tunes weren't funny. Obviously the girls are talented but their acts were short and lacking sexuality. I mean when I think of a cabaret show, I think of slow peeling of clothes that would turn me on not off. It was disappointing because it didn't have any seduction. I would have rather gone to the movie or something than this show specially for $20. read more

Wow! What a treat this place is! The ladies took me here as one of the many stops for my bachelorette party. This was certainly the highlight of the night! This is a fun thing to do with your girlfriends, your boyfriend or your hubby. The performers are magnificent. The show is super sexy but not raunchy. The drinks are fantastic here and the appetizers are a perfect late night snack to accompany drinks and a great show. I had so much fun and I can't wait to go back! What a fun place to come for an evening of unique entertainment! I had never been to a burlesque show before, and Lannie's was a great place to start. The show we saw last Christmas was fun and light hearted, and all of the stage show participants were a joy to watch. I love how they are able to mix humor into this sexy stage show. The Burlesque/Boylesque was great naughty fun (shout out to Dr. Bones) and the host Dirty Pierre was killing it with the raunchy humor between sets. We were in Denver for a month and we went 3 times! Fun place to enjoy some adult entertainment. Kinda gimmicky, and you will find lots of folks celebrating birthdays or bachelor parties which can make it interesting on its own. The drink prices are not bad, and the performers are impressive. We did not have a drink min, which I was expecting from a "comedy club" kinda place. The downsize was the wait time we had to endure in the lobby of the clock tower... if we would have been able to sit down before the show they would have made a lot more money off our group as we where looking for a place to have some cocktails. A good place to try out... but a "one and done" kinda event for me. read more

I attended the saturday night burlesque show here. The show was prompt and the facility was beautiful! No smoking, which is GREAT IMO. The show was fun, the belly dancer was the highlight of the show. She's AMAZING! The only down side to this place, is the fact that the patrons can get VERY obnoxious during the show. Most show up intoxicated in the first place. When you add in more alcohol and partially naked women, ugly things can happen. read more

Naughty Pierre's Burlesque Show was so much fun! I am a little biased though b/c we know the owners and got to attend for free, sit with them and have drinks on the house. However, I would happily go back b/c it was a great time. Pierre is a hilarious mc and the ladies are amazing performers. I was also very impressed with the magician. He came around during intermission and I was shocked by the card trick he performed. All in all, a lot of fun! They have great packages for birthdays and bachelorette parties. OMG. LOVE. My cousin and I have been here twice now for the oscar viewing party. Both times I've had a blast. Everyone I've seen work there also performs and its everything you'd expect of a burlesque show. Over-the-top, in your face attitude that entertains you all night long. The servers are always super attentive and take the time to explain the different options to you. This last Oscar party, I was frantic because my phone died and I needed to charge it to call my uber...eventually (I wasnt in a hurry to leave). One bartender went in search of one for me and never seemed to get annoyed that i came back to check on it every 10 minutes. I love GIN martinis. My cousin loves Vodka martinis. But after one sip of the Gin martini the bartender made me, I think we have a full-fledged convert. All in all, I cant wait for our next trip to Clock tower Caberet. I am going to try and make sure we visit before next years Oscar party. read more

Excellent date location!! Intimate setting, awesome entertainment, booze, food and desserts! You can't go wrong! I went with my wife after the latest Yelp event at the Jet Hotel. The timing of this place is perfect for the late show the doors don't open until 11pm. I recommend a few things if you're planning on going to the late shows. The doors don't open till eleven, so if you're planning on making an evening of it. Go and grab some drinks first, then get some dinner, get coffee but wait for dessert! I say that because they had a really good dessert list and there's nothing like eating some ice cream sundaes watching a magic show. We also got some Manhattan martinis that were 10 dollars, but worth it, because they were huge and really strong! The staff was very courteous and prompt , the setting is dark (hence the coffee after the pre-game drinks), and the magic show was super fun and totally entertaining. Whether it's your first date or you've been married 10 years, this place is great to check out: the atmosphere, entertainment, dessert and martinis. read more

Lannies is fun, fun, and then a little more fun! Been here for Pierre's Naughty Burlesque show. The entertainment is not to be missed. There's a guy with a guitar that warms up the crowd. Then come Fannie Spankings and Pierre who are both hilarious and really make the whole show. These two are great! The burlesque dancer acts are pretty good. The one with who does the aerial stuff was probably the most impressive. There was Mr Olympia or something who danced that night that got the ladies riled up. There's something for everyone here. The room was very nice and cozy, with cabaret tables. I think it would make a great place to have a party. There was a very drunk bachelorette party happening at the front of the room and a drunken birthday party at the back of the room. But all was well and everyone was entertained, especially by the drunk bride-to-be's dance skills....or lack thereof. I think it was like $12 at the door, drinks were reasonable. There were people from all walks of life and various age groups. Just go and check it out, you will have a great time! read more

I visited Lannie's on the heels of our last Vegas visit. We'd just come back from seeing Crazy Horse Paris and Peepshow, I'd seen a lot of boobies, and was ready for more. Although none of the girls went fully topless in the show we saw (country music themed, and I'm not sure if they ever go fully topless), I was a fan from the start. I love the intimacy of the venue, the low lights, the lingerie strewn about chandeliers above you, but most of all, I loved the beautiful performers and their even more beautiful bodies. Unlike the Barbie-esque, flawless thin figures of the Vegas vixens, the lovelies at Lannie's were a variety of shapes, sizes, and body types. No matter what type of girl you prefer to lay eyes on, they seemed to have a dancer who fit that mold. I believe we had 5 dancers perform twice with a brief intermission between. The host was quite the raunchy comedian and a nice cowboy. I secretly hoped they'd call me onto stage during the audience participation portion, but it seems you had to be selected for the front row or have a special occasion (or both!) We haven't been back, but I certainly hope to. This was a wonderfully entertaining experience and I adored the shining personalities of most of the girls (a few were very stoic. I love this place! I have seen two shows here so far and plan to see more. The atmosphere is small and intimate, there isn't a bad seat in the place. The girls who work here are nice and accomidating. I saw the christmas drag show and the boolesque comedy last year and both were fantastic. I liked it so much, I purchased tickets to thursday's boolesque show! The drinks were good and not too pricey. There is not much of a food selection, mostly just appetizers and snack food. It is in a great central location and easy to find, but there is no parking so be prepared to park and walk there. Seats are reserved in the order of when you buy tickets so if you want great seats, get tickets early. read more

Super fun, tasteful and a night to remember! I went with my parents and really had no idea what to expect. It was such a great night! The host was a blast and kept us laughing all night. The ladies were all different and I really enjoyed the "love of the woman's body" theme throughout the show. It was nice not to see stick thin models with "add ons" all night. The waitress was really attentive which we appreciated because it was a packed house. I definitely recommend this to anyone looking to do something more fun than dinner and a movie. My only regret is that my boyfriend was out of town and couldnt join in on the fun! read more

Oh my GOSH this is so much fun. Came here for a Bachelorette party, having never been here before. First off, I feel the staff (waitstaff, coat check, reception) deserves a shout out - all absolutely incredible and so, so sweet. Our waitress was amazing. Huge party all with separate checks...she handled it like a champ. The show was the Christmas themed Midnite Martini show - so entertaining and hilarious! This is so much fun. Lannie's is a truly unique space with more history than any other venue I have stepped foot in around this region. Lannie's is a swanky, sophisticated cabaret bar, which looks the part magnificently. The stage shows are most excellent and the sound is mixed perfectly. It's a great room to see a small show. and because of that sells out easily. Get your tickets ahead of time! Unfortunately, I can only give them 3 stars, because the customer service is lackluster. At a recent show we attended to see a friend perform, they sat people from another reservation with our reservation, and in the middle of the performance, made more of our party move to a different area of the room to accommodate strangers with their seats. And though I was only able to obtain one drink order, my bill was combined with people I did not come with, but was sat at the same table with, and neither group was given opportunity to split the check. I also heard the people up one level behind me complain about the rudeness of the waitstaff. So, it wasn't just us. However, Lannie herself seemed like a lovely hostess, and the entertainment was nothing short of superb. With some customer service training for the staff, this would be one of Denver's best venues. read more
