I recently selected this restaurant as a random pick from Google Maps, curious to see if it would pass muster. Upon entering, the initial impressions were a bit of a mixed bag. On the positive side, the establishment is notably clean, and the staff greets you with good service right from the start. However, the physical environment leaves something to be desired. A closer look around the dining room reveals that some of the furniture is actively showing its wear and tear, detracting from the overall ambiance. Compounding this issue is the volume level; the music is kept on the louder side, meaning your conversations may be frequently interrupted due to the competing noise of the sound system and fellow diners. The true test of any restaurant, however, lies in the kitchen, and today I opted for the Korean-style braised beef short ribs. Unfortunately, the execution on this centerpiece dish fell entirely short. The meat itself was significantly tougher than what you expect from typical, slow-braised short ribs, lacking that signature tender texture. To make matters worse, the flavor profile was incredibly bland, missing the deep, savory, and sweet seasonings essential to this classic dish. Instead of robust flavor, the plate was overloaded with an excessive mountain of microgreens. I am certainly not here for rabbit food, and the heavy-handed garnish could not mask the lack of proper seasoning underneath. Hoping to salvage the meal, I added their banana brûlée dessert to my order. This sweet addition partially made up for the short rib faux pas. It was remarkably tasty and fresh, offering a beautifully executed finish that proved the kitchen is absolutely capable of better work when they put their minds to it. The bottom line is that while the service is attentive, the space is clean, and the dessert was a genuine highlight, you ultimately go to a restaurant for a cohesive dining experience. Based upon today's experience, the kitchen's execution on the mains simply wasn't there, and the loud atmosphere makes it hard to relax. Perhaps there are better dishes hiding on the menu as evidenced by the stellar dessert but I still cannot fully recommend visiting this establishment based on the flaws of the primary meal.

We had a birthday to celebrate so we decided to go to Chef's Table. It can be a little busy but we were able to find a spot at the bar. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. We love their cocktails and food. We ordered some drinks and the Bread board, Scallops and the Reuben egg rolls. For dessert we decided on the Bacon Fat Brownie. The best dessert ever! Thanks to the staff as they always make it a fun experience.

Would give 6 or more stars if I could. The food was spectacular the cocktails were elevated and tasty. The staff was friendly and helpful. Recommendations were spot on. There were four of us we each ordered a different meal but shared. Each of us had different favorite entrees. The entrees that were not favorites were still 9 out of 10. I can't remember going to another restaurant where it was hit after hit. Nothing was below excellent. Great experience, will definitely return when I'm back in town!

Service was outstanding, everything tasted great, biggest issue was my sons burger....he ordered it medium well, it still had pink inside....well we get home and an hour or so later his stomach hurts. Then throws up the burger, had more pains for a bit, woke up fine no other symptoms just the solo throw up which leads me to understand it was the brisket ground beef combo. Typically brisket must be cooked to well done as it's a tougher meat which requires longer cooking time. I work in the food service industry so I do know proper food safety and handling, using food right away and cooking to proper temp is crucial.

$48 of disappointment

This place feels more like a bar than an upscale restaurant. The food may look elevated, but the quality of the steak was pretty mediocre. They were busy, so I placed my order as soon as possible and ordered only one dish. Even so, it took about 35 minutes to arrive, and unfortunately, it wasn't worth the wait. There was no bread, soup, or anything else offered while I waited or served alongside the meal, so I was starving by the time it arrived. The $48 filet mignon didn't taste particularly fresh or high-quality, and the broccolini was so charred that it had an unpleasant, almost cigarette-like flavor. The potatoes and mushrooms were the only enjoyable parts of the dish. I was still hungry, but I couldn't bring myself to finish the meal. I ended up going to Texas Roadhouse afterward, which was much better. For a $48 steak, the experience was extremely disappointing.

Can I get an espresso martini! also the spicy blackberry margarita was bomb. We had a special stroganoff short rib dish so not sure how long they'll have it. Melt in your mouth dish. Small quaint spot, super cozy! Highly recommend. Everyone was incredibly nice and knowledgeable!

Wow! Fine dining at a sports bar style restaurant?! Who would've guessed LOCATION & DECOR: Nearly at the corner of lone tree and Blue oaks boulevard just down the way from the 65. Hot dog style sports bar with a menu fit for a fine dining experience. Close-ish to the galleria FOOD & DRINK: -Scallops Appetizer -Short Braised Rib -Peach Burger PRICE: $$ SWAG/AMENITIES: -Table Service -TV's -no reservation needed STAFF & EXPERIENCE: Nicholas the server was so incredibly knowledgeable. He spoke about the food as though he was the chef himself! This place is unsuspecting. Welcome to the sports bar with ratings that seemed to exceed its appearance on first glance. The place is clean and a bit noisy. it's just a different vibe than was expecting, but that food was cooked to perfection. And the service was top-notch

Went at 6 ish on a Saturday and knew we'd have a wait. They told us 45 minutes to an hour and sent us a confirmation text that allowed us to track our progress on the list. We ordered drinks, sat and had conversation while we waited. It was warm and cozy inside and the weather outside really was frightful so we weren't looking to leave. If we had come at 7, the wait would have been much shorter. Once seated at our favorite place, watching the chefs cook, we got an order of the amazing pesto fries...yum! And finally dinner, a pork chop and mushroom gnocchi. Another great experience at Chef's Table. We'll be back

Really good food. Wish there was some nicer tables, but the kindness and food made up for it. I took a picture of recent menu. There is no dessert menu, but they offered three desserts.

They require a password to get in of which you can get by following them on Instagram. What really sets House Divided apart, though, is the passion behind it. The couple who owns the place has clearly gone to great lengths to create an exceptional cocktail experience. You can tell they genuinely love their craft, and that attention to detail comes through in both the atmosphere and the drinks. The cocktail menu is thoughtfully curated across a wide range of spirits, with enough creativity and variety to appeal to just about every palate. My wife and I especially enjoy coming here as the seasons change to see what new creations they've introduced, while still being able to fall back on favorites from their regular menu. Their Old Fashioneds are exceptional, and as someone who gravitates toward tequila and mezcal, I'm always impressed by what they do with those spirits. The Cozy Old Fashioned is a personal favorite, but I've yet to have a cocktail here that felt like an afterthought. Everything feels intentional, well-crafted, and true to the personality of the place. If you appreciate intimate cocktail bars, speakeasy culture, and bartenders who truly care about their craft, House Divided is absolutely worth discovering. It has become one of our favorite spots for a romantic drink and a place we genuinely look forward to returning to each season.

They also host events like live music, UFC fight nights, and private parties, adding even more reasons for beer and golf enthusiasts to check this place out! I didn't try the golf simulators during my visits due to back injuries, but I enjoyed watching others have a great time. I got to try all of their sushi offerings and the pizza! The sushi is unique and tasty. They use smoked salmon instead of the usual raw salmon, and honestly, it hits! The smoky flavor gives it a delicious twist. The sushi has crunchy toppings, too! Very tasty! I really like the variety of textures. The pizza hit the spot, too. Between the two, there was plenty to enjoy while sipping my current favorite beers: Breaking Bud and Gummy Worms! I really like the self-pour taps because I can try different options and pour just the amount I want. They also offer wine, which is nice when I feel like switching things up and giving my taste buds something different. The owner, Jacques, is great to talk with. Me and my husband are novice golfers and thought it'd be fun for practice and with our family (took our 7yo and MIL). Pros: Very cool concept. Loved that we could practice our swings, use different clubs, and be able to see all of our specs. Loved the idea that they had sushi cause it's our kids favorite. And loved that they had not just beers, but a good variety of seltzers, ciders and even wine on tap! Cons: VERY limited food menu. What they had listed on their website was NOT what they had available for purchase. There were only maybe 10 food items to choose from, and very high priced for what it was. A couple of hand rolls (1 each for $8-$10), Poke Nachos (on tortilla chips - big no no! - use wonton chips!) for $20 (price ok since you got a few small pieces of fish per chip, but they skimped by using tortilla chips, on both price and flavor! And they had 3-4 sushi rolls. Their "special" roll being $20 alone. There wasn't really anything special about it. Definitely not worth $20!! The fish tasted fresh, but so does the local sushi place down the street with massive rolls, full of fish, for $16-18/roll. So don't expect much from the food. I went to ask the guy at the front of if it was user error on the mobile app... he said that they run out of food and when that happens, they just take it off the menu. LAME! Put a disclaimer on your website! Additionally, the guy at the front desk (upon check in) - unhelpful! He asked us if it was our first time, which it was. He set us up and told us if we had questions to just come ask. We did, and each time he seemed like it was more of an annoyance that we were taking him away from his phone time (that he was on every time I went to ask a question). And instead of explaining to us how things work, and how to maneuver through the screens and set things up, he just did what we asked/needed without showing us so we could never fix it or do it ourselves. We figured some things out on our own, but if you have newbies, it would be worth showing them how to use the system so it doesn't take a ton of our paid for time (at $50/hour) to figure things out. Such a waste and makes the cost to worth ratio deteriorate very quickly. So overall, would we go back. Maybe. Definitely not with our kid (which makes it more rare that we'd return). I like to give everything a second try. But for the cost, it would take some convincing and a MUCH better second experience for me to ever go back or recommend this place to friends.
