Cheesecake is basically my favorite dessert and the Cheesecakery is an excellent place to indulge in it! I made my first trip here on a Saturday, which is their busiest day, but luckily they hadn't run out when I was there. (I'd suggest going a different day if you can or going early on a Saturday for the biggest selection.) I tried the classic, the Oreo, the key lime and the circus animal cracker cupcake cheesecake flavors. They are all the size of a small cupcake, which is perfect in my opinion. Cheesecake flight (with commentary from my cheesecake loving wife): Pumpkin caramel - 10/10 | tastes like pumpkin cheesecake with a super small amount of caramel. Wife approved and would order again! Strawberry crunch - 10/10 | reminds me of those strawberry ice cream bars! Absolutely delicious! Cinnamon Caramel - 8/10 | I expected more from this little cheesecake. It is still super good. According to my wife, "it's just very spice oriented. There is a lot of cinnamon in here!" Me rolling my eyes over the fact she pointed out there's too much cinnamon in a CINNAMON cheesecake) Coffee - 3/10 (she's being generous) | We definitely expected more coffee flavor. This was obviously our least favorite one. The coffee flavor was very odd and did not taste like coffee. Coffee flight : Zombie White Chocolate Raspberry - 2/10 (I would say 8/10) | Wife says, "I would rather eat the coffee cheesecake!" I actually liked this one... you can definitely taste the raspberry in it and there is a little swirl of raspberry around the cup. Witch Cake Batter - 6/10 | this coffee reminds me of cake batter! It is very sweet. The purple cold foam on top is adorable and my wife was a fan of the little plastic spider ring. Vampire Strawberry Mocha - 8/10 | The strawberry flavor really comes through with this coffee! The wife says, "minus 2 for large sprinkles!" She doesn't understand aesthetics of these things! There is a drizzle of strawberry on the bottom as well. The Frankenstein Mint Mocha - 10/10 | This was definitely the winner of the day... but we knew that would be the case when we ordered! The little face on top is adorable and the coffee is delicious! It could definitely use a little more mint for those who are mint lovers! Honorable mentions: Plain toasted bagel with cream cheese - "beautiful" *chef kiss* per the wife. She said that the bread was delicious and toasted well! Strawberry Cheesecake Cinnacrown - I ordered it because it looked amazing in the case. By the time we received it I was WAY too full from the cheesecake and coffee. We loved the atmosphere of this little cheesecake place! There is a small little cafe next door that you can sit down and eat in. Unfortunately, it is rainy today or else we would probably sit outside (there are plenty of seats and tables)! You order in the shop and wait next door for your order to come to you! Second time here and I left really happy thanks to the cookies I ordered, this time they didn't make it to the pics, one I ate standing outside and the other one on the ride back, couldn't wait! ... but believe they are worth the hour trip. The cheesecakes though where a little bit of a disappointment this time around for my wife. Last time my wife who was the one who tasted them all was real happy with them, this time around not so much. She couldn't pin point exactly what it was, if it was the smooth texture all around without any crust or that they all tasted very similar even though they where all different, but it was missing something. I don't eat much dessert so I am not able to provide much feedback, but with the back and forward between her and myself it seems that they are not tasting like the cheesecake taste that you expect. Not impressed! It's a great concept but just not executed very well. I'm only grading the cheesecake in this review as I did not try anything else. The cheesecake was just ok. They use the same base for all of the flavors and just add a topping. It was a little softer than my preference but not bad. They really missed an opportunity to get a little more extravagant with the base - add chocolate chips, swirl, a better crust. But if it were for the base alone, I would give them 3 stars. they lose another star for the awful topping. They all seemed to be topped with the same bland whipped topping. It was like they whipped heavy whipping cream and forgot to add the sugar. Then the flavor is drizzled with a syrup - strawberry, chocolate, caramel etc. I had chocolate peanut butter but couldn't taste it at all. It was just terrible. This place has such an opportunity so I hope they get their recipe perfected! read more

Cheesecake is my favorite dessert. I was an odd child refusing to eat regular cake, so I was always lucky enough to get a cheesecake as my birthday cake. This love has certainly carried over to adulthood and I was super excited to discover this great local business! The Cheesecakery is an adorable storefront located in the up and coming revamped Madisonville area. There is plenty of free street parking located right out front. During nicer months they have tables out front or inside (during times with no social distancing restrictions). There is even a nice water bowl for your doggies outside. Currently they are taking free online orders for in store pickup, or maintaining just pickup at the store. I believe you can also order them through delivery services such as doordash. I was instantly greeted by a very sweet girl at the counter, as well as one of the owners. I inquired about a latte I had seen them experimenting with on social media, made with their homemade hibiscus syrup. While it is not yet perfected, they were happy to make me one, and let me know if I didn't like it theyd make something else. Well in my opinion no more experimenting needed, it was delicious. If you'd like to choose from one of their other great seasonal drinks, their is a full menu board. Now onto the cheesecake. I went with a six pack. The cheesecakes are cupcake sized, but one alone is very rich, yet the consistency is nice and fluffy as opposed to dense. I chose blueberry, raspberry, blackberry, strawberry, oreo, and keylime. The oreo and key lime ended up being my favorites. Each was topped with whipped cream (thankgod not frosting). It was clear the whipped cream was also homemade. They do change up their cheesecake flavors so I cannot wait to try more. There is also a case of other pastries that looked good. There are so many other things on their menu that youll have to checkout for yourself, but obviously the true star is in the name, the cheesecake. I have never wanted to make a review for a place so fast. I've been wanting to try this place since it opened but never got around to it until today, and I'm only mad because I didn't try it sooner. First of all, every interaction with the people working there was a joy. Everyone was so friendly and always willing to give a recommendation. We ended up getting a latte flight, a breakfast burrito, and a breakfast sandwich. While we waited for our food we popped in next door because when you go to a place called the Cheesecakery, you have to try at least one cheesecake. The latte flight surprised me. Everyone has their go-to coffee order and it's hard to stray away from a personal favorite, but the June coffee flight was incredible. My favorite being the blueberries and cream and my boyfriend's favorite being the fruity pebbles which surprised both of us in being the perfect balance between sweet and fruity and still having some bitterness from the coffee. The breakfast sandwich/burritos were the biggest surprise. Not your typical too-dry fake egg side piece from a café. These were almost the stars of the entire thing. You could tell they were made fresh to order and were loaded with cheese and sauce and deliciousness. I'd go back just for a breakfast burrito if I'm being honest. Finally, of course the cheesecake was insanely good. The place is really cute and cozy with a great playlist and plenty of room to sit and enjoy whatever you choose from the menu. I don't typically leave reviews, but this place left me in absolute amazement. I went here with a dear friend of mine before heading out of town, and I could not have asked for a better way to end such a wonderful trip. At first it was a bit confusing. There are three different buildings all connected to this business. When facing The Cheesecakery, the bakery is on the left, the coffee shop is in the middle, and a seating area is toward the right. I personally loved the separation. To start, each section has its own unique theme. When walking into the bakery, you are greeted with a beautiful showcase of their fresh pastries, illuminated by bright yet subtle, neon pink lights with an ivy backsplash. The baker who greeted us was so kind, and clearly very passionate about her job. She gave some recommendations, but truthfully I don't think you could go wrong with anything they gave out on display. We got two cupcakes, a cheesecake bar, and a cannoli. I am not one for sweets, but the flavor erupting in your mouth with each and every bite sold me right away. My friend, who is a pastry nut, shared the same thought. You can't possibly go wrong. Next is the coffee shop. There is some sort of rustic yet organized theme in the coffee shop. What caught my eye was this huge picture of a world map. I am not entirely sure which time period this is from, but I do believe the map is of French origin. One unique aspect about the coffee shop is they make all of their syrups in house, and the taste was a direct indication of that. Again, not a huge fan of sweets. I typically take my coffee boiling hot and as dark as possible, but I figured I might as well try something new. I got an iced latte with buckeye syrup and cheesecake sweet cream foam. It was absolutely incredible. My friend got a February special, "Love is in the Air", and it tasted like little Debbie made it herself. Last is the seating area. A very nice, quiet, and welcoming environment for either a few moments of peace or a conversation. The only complaint I have of the seating area is that I wish there was a chess board. But nothing is preventing me from bringing my own, so I just may have to next time. All in all, The Cheesecakery is a product of an entrepreneur who has a true passion in the product they are selling, and the service they are offering. By far the most unique business I have been to in the Cincinnati area with the highest quality and standard of product. We are here on our last night in Cincinnati and wanted something sweet after dinner and came across this gem of a place called "The Chessecakery". I have to admit I'm not the biggest fan of cheesecake but, these small portions was just what we needed along with beverages. Forgot to take pics of the beverages and for that I apologize but, two of us had the BUCKEYE LATTE(Highly recommend BTW) and my wife had the SOPAPILLA LATTE which is also delicious and all with Oat milk. You have to be a fan of PEANUT BUTTER in order to enjoy the Buckeye dessert and Latte. Lucky for me I love love PB . I highly recommend this place, everyone was very friendly and courteous and helpful. We sat outside with the cool breeze and relaxed and enjoyed our late evening snack and beverage.
