We grabbed seats at the bar, and the ambiance was exactly what I wanted for a night out--cool, calm, and full of vibes. The kind of place where you can settle in, catch up, sip something good, and actually enjoy the evening. I ordered the shrimp Cobb salad, and it came out in no time. It was a great size for the price and surprisingly filling, which is always a win when you're trying to enjoy your meal without feeling like you paid for a bowl of decorative lettuce. Our servers were attentive and timely throughout the night, which made everything feel easy and relaxed. And let's circle back to that half-off sangria because honestly... icing on the top. Good food, good vibes, good company, and a sangria special? I'll definitely be looking forward to the next girls' night here. I'm not saying we found a new girls' night spot... but I'm also not not saying that.

We had Brunch at "The One", the Rooftop at Tommy's and the overall setting was so beautiful. Since it was the height of summer, it was less crowded, so we were able to get seated at the sofa lounge which was more comfortable. Menu (food) is little different at the rooftop when compared to their regular Menu, but it still had a good selection. We ordered different Appetizers and Cocktails, everything tasted great. Staff are very accommodating, and the service was quick. Definitely recommend

I ordered the edamame dumplings and absolutely loved them. They were delicious, full of flavor, and honestly won my heart. My husband got the vegan double cheeseburger with beet and walnut patties, which was something different from the usual veggie burgers we've had. The patties were really flavorful and delicious. We also tried their house-made dragon fruit lemonade, which was refreshing and went really well with our meal. Since it was our first time, our server was really nice and helpful. He took the time to guide us through the menu and helped us decide what to try, which we appreciated. The service was good and the ambience was nice and comfortable. It's conveniently located by Menlo Park Mall, so there's plenty of parking as well. Overall, we had a really good experience. The only minuscule disappointment was that our beverages were delayed, and the Edamame Dumplings were a little disappointing; in that it was lacking a very small portion of Edamame. My daughter did place another order, and this time the Edamame was well served. Yet she was not offered a compliment credit towards the unsatisfactory portion on first order. Our server came over rather quickly and offered beverages. My husband loved his old fashioned. We ordered 2 gf crust flatbreads and the caramelized Brussel sprouts. The Brussel sprouts were so delicious. The pepperoni flatbread was superior to the chicken pesto one. Both were good but I prefer the pepperoni. For dessert, the only options are mini jars with cake. Lemon blueberry was seasonal while others are standard. It tasted fine but nothing special. I love how the menu changes with the season and features fresh options. For example, summer featured corn and I bet fall will feature squash. You'd never know this is a chain. Definitely give seasons 52 a chance.

I noticed AFTER we ordered that there was a cocktail special that night. Our waitress never mentioned any specials, so I tried to flag her down after I had already ordered a different one not on the list. I mentioned to the hostess what I needed, and I hung out waiting for our waitress at the front. After waiting at least 15 min for her to show up from the back, I was able to ask her to change my drink order. The food here is FABULOUS. We got the housemade Irish soda bread and it was amazing. Hubby got the shepherd's pie and it was delicious. I got the lamb chops over asparagus and mashed potatoes and it was FANTASTIC ! I don't know if our waitress was new or what, but our meals were delivered without silverware. We waited several minutes, then finally flagged down another waitress so that we could eat ! If it wasn't for the poor service, this place could easily be 5 stars due to the fabulous food. Thankfully we got out of there before the live music started, loud music is not our vibe. At the very end of the meal, somehow my original drink order made an appearance (that's what I was afraid of, that she didn't cancel the order). The folks at the table next to us ordered the exact same cocktail, so when the bar tried to give it to us, the waitress told them to give it to the table next to us instead. Geez, we were already paying for our meal at the time. Lol The manager did come out and the end of the meal to ask how things were. I did mention I thought our waitress might be new. I didn't get an answer as to if she was, but I posed it more as a statement than a question.

I recently tried the chef's 8-course tasting menu, and it was perfectly paced--the small plates are proportionately sized so you leave feeling satisfied rather than overwhelmed. Every dish is a standout with deep, "stacked" flavors; even the ingredients I was skeptical about ended up being favorites. Nothing needed a drop of extra seasoning. The service sets a warm, welcoming tone from the start. We were offered Oshibori (Japanese warm towelettes) to refresh our hands, and getting a fresh set of utensils with every course was a high-end touch I really appreciated. Menu Highlights: Taro Fritter: A sweet-textured appetizer inspired by Chinese desserts, topped with caviar and soy-pickled beets. It was a beautiful way to awaken the palate. Mackerel Crudo: As someone who isn't usually a fan of raw dishes, I was surprised by how much I loved this. It's light, perfectly acidic, and balanced with plum, ponzu, and apple. Grilled Sunchoke: This was "rustic elegance" in a bowl. The smell alone is incredible, and the combination of ginger crab and shellfish butter is pure comfort. Smoked Duck: Topped with black winter truffle and caramelized onions in a gochujang sauce--absolutely excellent cook and presentation. Braised Beef Cheek: So tender you can skip the knife and just use your fork. Since I forgot to BYOB, I tried their house-made Luck & Love hibiscus drink. It's hands-down the best hibiscus tea I've ever had--I actually tried to buy one to-go, but they only make enough for dine-in guests! It's a fantastic spot to bring friends or loved ones, though I'd recommend arriving early. The parking lot is extremely tight, so you might need to look for space in the lot next door.
