We realize it was parents weekend but restaurant needs to stay on top of both food and service needs during busy times. Our food was subpar. We spent $30 a person for breakfast and huevos rancheros was burnt/tasteless, bacon, undercooked, small portions and our waitress was snippy and we felt like we were being rushed. One gentleman in particular, a white busboy with some pimples interrupted my wife and disrespected her in front of the other women at the bar area. Great location, great service, but no buffalo burger?! We stopped here while passing through town specifically because I thought they'd have a Bison Burger (it is a buffalo themed restaurant after all). I was very disappointed to learn that they don't, however the rest of the experience was good. I opted for the Huevos Rancheros which were great. They also offer $.99 mimosas or tequila sunrise with your meal (max 3). The interior was clean and comfortable, and our server was super friendly. I would recommend this place and stop again if in town. Really wish they had a bison burger though. read more

Every had one of those breakfasts where everyone just kept eating off of everyone's plate, exclaiming how good that dish is. No, this dish is really good. Oh, you have to try this one! As a family, it's easier to share food but often doesn't happen. At this breakfast, everyone just felt like sharing it was all so good. My family and I have been a few times, today we went for Mother's Day. The place was busy but they the wait wasn't long. I would give them 5 stars for service-our waitress was fantastic. The food itself is very bland and pricey for breakfast. I ordered the huevos, pretty tasteless except for the chorizo. The green chili had absolutely no heat or flavor. I had to add a lot of hot sauce. Everyone at the table felt the same. My SIL got the pecan pancakes and the bottom one was burned-it tasted horrible. She didn't want to make a fuss as it was very busy. My stomach hurt for several hours after we ate. The Bloody Mary's are a good deal, but taste like tomato juice. One of my favorite places to get breakfast in Colorado! Can't go wrong with anything on the menu, although I am partial to the French Toast. They have a great drink selection as well. Staff is always friendly. On busy days they do a good job at handling the wait, although I don't believe it's possible to make a reservation in advance. I ate in the Buff, ok now that we've got that out of the way. This is actually a kid friendly place, I say that because they had tables set up in the atrium for toy donations to kids displaced by the wild fire. At first I thought they were actually selling them but then I read the sign and it touched my heart how the community was there for them. We came back to eat a second time, I liked the French Toast I had the first, but didn't want that to be my only impression so, I got the Chicken & French Toast. It comes with hash brown potatoes on the side which amounts to a good deal of food. The coffee is a little expensive but it's free refills and they're generous enough to offer to fill up your thermos if you bring one. read more

I was nursing a pretty serious hangover and was pleased to see that they offered $1 bloody maries and mimosas! I ased for extra spicy on the bloody and it was delicious. As for the meal, we both ordered their chimi (vegan and non-vegan) which is a fried burrito topped with cheese, salsa verde, and served with rice and beans. Once again, it was average. The portion size was decent, but the taste wasn't memorable or amazing. However, I was very impressed by our server. I ordered a cold brew which was perfectly strong and delicious. For my entree, I got the chorizo chimmi with no beans. Portions were huge! I did enjoy the chimmi but felt that it wasn't as packed with ingredients as it could have been. I had a lot of excess skin that I discarded. Overall a decent meal and decent service! read more
