Bacon wrapped burritos were bomb! Great scene for a sunny day or evening. Plenty of tables and unique al a carte experience.

A great spot for groups, family and/or friends. Various food choices which the two I tried are Mexican and Vietnamese since the Indian spot is usually closed. For that, those two are delicious. Great to have a delicious rendezvous for all palettes. Would give it 5 stars if the food joints had longer hours, however, I understand they're operated by local restauranteurs who still need a personal life. read more

This is one of my favorite spots in tucson to go have drinks. The atmosphere here is always so fun, the staff is super cool. The set up is perfect you have some good food options around but the bar is where it's at. Very good beer selection on tap and cans. The drinks are really good and not to mention happy hour and weekend deals. I've been here a few times and have never had a bad experience here. Boxyard is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots in Tucson, despite the fact that I try to avoid downtown. There is plenty of space to hangout with your friends and more than one bar means you won't be waiting long to get drinks. The barstaff is very knowledgeable and quick. Security staff there is also some of the chillest in town (not, like, "let minors and drunks in" chill, but "we aren't roided out power tripping jerks and we just want you to have a Fun time" chill.) read more

Fun place to come to on the weekends for their night market and food trucks. There are little shops you can visit during the day and weekend nights will have music and bands playing on a stage. Great for if you just want to get out for a couple hours and there are also a few restaurants but expect the restaurants to have waits because this place does get busy! read more

Went during the day and it was such a cool spot. Bartenders were all very friendly, and there was a good amount to choose from whether your preference is draft beers, wine, or drinky drinks. Lots of nooks to sit in. Upstairs you can catch a great sunset and people watch below. downstairs too was spread out. I imagine it will get packed on the weekend nights but if you're like me and actively avoid large crowds, stop by during the day/early evening. I recommend it. read more

Your female bartender with the long black hair is extremely rude and condescending. I came in for a friends birthday and 7 people out of our group of 15 complained about her rude service. Many of them wanted more drinks but did not want to deal with the bad service so they didn't. If you want better business, you should hire a bartender that's not passive aggressive to customers. read more

The boxyard is the best place on 4th. It's a super chill atmosphere where you can chill, eat food, and have a couple drinks. Music is always great and the staff are amazing! One of the employees was being extremely disrespectful to our group for no reason while we were trying to sit our group down and told us we can leave if we don't like how he's treating us. We left and when i asked him for his name he said "don't worry about it you're not welcome here" even though we were the ones to choose to leave. I asked him why and he didn't have an answer. Continued to refuse to give me his name. The manager got involved and even admitted that how the guy was acting was wrong but he "already kicked us out" which wasn't even true since we chose to leave. This place is unprofessional and the staff like to disrespect patrons for literally no reason with manager support. read more

My Box yard review/// First time coming to this place with my lovely wife. Atmosphere is awesome. Drinks are great. We tried Sals and was very disappointed. I ordered Buffalo hot wings and they were disgusting. I can make better hot wings in my sleep. They boiled the hot wings and drizzled some disappointing excuse of a hot sauce. Don't waste your time. I'm going to skip this place and try the other three options. So far I'm not very impressed with the food. read more

This place has potential to be good... I've been a few different times... couple things... 1. I felt like I wished someone stabbed me in the earlobes prior to entering the bar... the music is terrible... I don't know if it is the bartender's choice or what but the hipster soft emo Jazz rock or whatever isn't doing it. 2. We went once on an evening where it wasn't busy at all, which is no problem... except for the fact that the lady bartender that night seemed to be super annoyed and inconvenienced that we were there and ordered drinks... isn't that what this place is for? and is your job? Perfect place for a Sunday Funday! We were bar hopping on a Sunday afternoon and remembered that Boxyard had recently opened. What a cool place, and even cooler concept. First, the multi-levels are awesome. Its cool to be able to overlook 4th Ave and all of the people passing by as you enjoy your adult beverage or some yummy food! Boxyard also has a couple of restaurants on site that serve food similar to what a food truck would serve. Which is super convenient! The drinks were decently priced with a good selection of mixed drinks, cold beer and wine. I plan on returning, maybe at night which would be interesting since there are little nooks for additional seating on the 2nd floor above the bar. It will be a cool place to hang out, can't wait to return! read more

The venue was great as well as the bar service. But when ordering food, It took more than a half an hour for my food to be served. By then I couldn't take but one bite before the man that fetches the garbage was ushering us out. He was very rude and inconsiderate. He made condescending remarks about us having to leave. I do not recommend this place to anyone that plans to get food. And again the closing staff was extremely rude and unprofessional. read more

So this place is super cool! If you just want to chill and day drink, this would be the spot. We went pretty early, around noon. The burrito stand was open and had really good food. The margaritas tasted really fresh. I love the misters and that it's dog friendly. HOWEVER, this place is kid friendly so lots of kids started to show up with their parents. These kids were running wild and nobody said anything to them so because I know this falls on the parents, I'm sticking with my 5 stars. Maybe next time we go there won't be wild kids everywhere. read more

Honestly won't be coming back. The security guard in the front was extremely rude. We asked if we could sit at the bar in the shade and he said no you can sit in the back smoking section in the sun. Just not friendly. Then when we decided to leave because we didn't want to sit there he sat another group in the sun at the bar.... this also isn't the first time he has been rude to my friends. . From one amazing place to the other. After eating at cup cafe, we came to the Boxyard. This is a open space area with a full bar and a few mini food spots. Drinks are very reasonably priced (I got a glass of Red Roses bourbon for $5). Also got a plate of beef and broccoli from the Vietnamese spot in the Yard to go. Great location with such a cute spot! It was a hot day and they had their misters and fans on for guests to enjoy! I didn't get a drink, but I bough fries from one of the vendors. The gentleman working the register at Percheron Mexican Grill was fun to speak with and gave great local recommendations of places to visit. I also noticed they have gas warmers for colder days/nights. There overall were four vendors to buy food from and one bar area with a ton of fun places to sit. This is an awesome concept of a place to go get drinks with people. When I went I didn't get food, but they have three different areas where you can order food and it seemed pretty legit. They have a lot of drink options for good prices. Got 2 shots and 2 drinks for around 20$. Not bad at all. Only thing was I felt like the bartender was catering to the crowds he thought he would make more money off of. But that just is how bars go. Highly suggest checking this place out! read more
