I had a very bad experience at this restaurant. While eating, I found a hard rock/plastic-like object inside the food. This is a serious food safety issue. I have photos and video proof of everything. This could have caused serious injury if swallowed. Very disappointed with the restaurant's quality control and hygiene standards. Customers should be careful before eating here. I hope the management takes responsibility and improves their food safety immediately

In the mood for catfish, and of course, shrimp with seasoned fries, you can't go wrong with this order! Customer service is on point on all levels. For this location, come early as it gets busy really fast in the evening.

After not having boiling crab or any other crab boil in forever, this definitely hit the spot. We ordered Cajun fries and shrimp, crawfish, sausage and corn. The spices and seasoning were out of this world. The servers were very nice and attentive and the tables and seats clean.

Great eating experience! We had 1 lb of shrimp and a shrimp basket. The bags of food can be emptied onto the table top and can include other sides in the bag. There are several seasoning flavors and spice levels. The spicy level we chose was mild and it was still good! We got our bibs and ate with our hands. Great sensory experience. I recommend this establishment. I would definitely return. They have TVs and we were able to watch the baseball game as it played live.

Boiling crab was a fun experience. We got mussels, clams, shrimp, potatoes, sausage and the catfish & scallop fried baskets. Cajun fries are the best thing here. Seafood was ok. The shrimp was a little overcooked but fine. Unfortunately, the catfish and scallop were not fresh. Scallop especially had a very rubbery texture. This place always seems to have a line so I don't know if it's just super popular for the experience or maybe I came on an off day. I can see the appeal though for a big group!

I love boiling crab, every location always has great staff and great food. They have tvs and show some games, the margaritas are so good. The sauce is unmatched, fries are always so crispy and delicious. There's parking on the street and on the side as well as a parking structure close by. It's located in downtown Alhambra and there's many stores, restaurants and ice cream shops close by. There's a top canvas walking distance and other collectible stores next door. There's a Photo Booth place at the corner of the block me and my boyfriend always go before we eat it's a little tradition. Love you always boiling crab

Casual seafood boil spot in LA. They are usually always busy and have a wait. I recommend joining their yelp waitlist if you can. I usually come here with a group and we all order for ourselves but everything is shareable. They have bibs and gloves (must ask) to help with eating. But honestly if you come eat here, you will get a bit messy. But flavor of food is good. They don't have a designated parking lot, but there are free parking lots nearby and street parking available. My usual is 2lbs of shrimp whole shabang, medium spicy and fried catfish basket. They play music and have TVs inside, usually playing sports games. A small waiting area inside, or just stand outside. They will text you when your table is ready.

3lbs of glory. Make sure to move the sauce around in the bag, they seem not to do it for you

Ambiance is chill, usually trendy hipster music and some random sports on the televisions, Great service, make sure to get there before 3:30pm place can get crowded and a wait time is very common on all the franchises. Food is Finger licking & Succulent af

On a Friday night in late June, I was craving for fried oysters do my hubby and I went there for dinner. Luckily we found parking in front of the restaurant. We got a table right away near the kitchen. Our waitress was nice and took our drinks first. Hubby got snow crab legs of $44 by pound which means 5 legs in she bang sauce. We ordered fried oysters and 2 fried catfish with fries. The food came out fast as we were watching the adopter game. Inside all the tables was filled at 5:10pm. The fried oysters was nicely fried and soft inside. The catfish was nicely fried and not greasy at all with medium seasoning of fries. The waitress came by several times to refill soda and water. Service was really good. Nice place with fun ambiance.

There was no wait around 5 p.m. on a Thursday night. We ordered 1.5 pounds of shrimp, 1 pound of crawfish, and 1 pound of clams--enough for two people. Everything was delicious! I especially enjoyed eating the rice with the whole Sha Bang sauce. We also got the Crabber Fries, which are basically fries with crabmeat. The fries were nicely seasoned, though the crabmeat was a bit dry, so I'd probably just order the fries on their own next time. The total was $70.01 with tax. There's parking on the street and parking structure.

I've actually been coming here since I was a kid when I used to live in Monterey Park, so this place holds a lot of memories for me. It's one of those restaurants that has stayed consistently good throughout the years. My absolute favorite dish here is the red rice with shaken beef. The sweet and sour sauce they give with it is SO bomb and honestly makes the whole dish even better. I seriously crave it all the time. The house special fish fillet was also amazing, super flavorful and definitely one of my go-to dishes here. Portions are generous, making it perfect for family style dining and celebrations. The atmosphere always feels lively and welcoming, especially for bigger groups. Service was busy but still attentive considering how packed it was. I'm sorry for no pics this time, but they really deserve the recognition they receive. Definitely one of those longtime spots I'll always come back to.

No apology or anything just walked away and came back. The presentation of the food was amazing and definitely picture-worthy, which is probably why the reviews are so positive, but overall everything lacked seasoning and flavor. Great for photos, not so much for taste. Save your money

First, parking was so difficult!! So many cars crammed close to each other and the restaurant wasn't even full, but we parked in the street nearby. The place had plenty of seating when we arrived, spacious tables that fit our group of 16. We had a large party and split into two tables, each table had peanuts and tea, we also ordered our own bit with the same serve at the same time. We ordered our usual dishes such as corn soup, honey walnut shrimp, salt and pepper squid, sal and pepper pork chops, filet beef dish, hainan chicken and many more. The service seemed slow, the bad part is that our other table got all their dishes while we had none. It took a while before our first dish arrived which was honey walnut shrimp, it was good, a bit soggy but flavorful. We asked for rice and started eating, once most of the shrimp was gone the rest of the dishes came. They were delicious, they tasted great and had good portions. The pork chop was great fresh but soon started to get tough as it cooled. The fried squid had parts that were very seasoned and some bland. My sister in law ordered a seafood tofu dish that was the best one but we ate everything before I took a photo. We also shared dishes across the tables to try out our orders. I tried the fried crab but it had more garlic than crab! The restroom was the sad part, there was no toilet paper, and no paper towels. The women's restroom door was propped wide open as well. I had to call my sister to bring in napkins for me... Overall a great meal, we may come back if the occasion allows.

We originally were hoping for 7 or 7:30, but based on how busy and popular this place is I can see why they said no. Come early and get seated right away and there's still ample parking in their parking lot. By the time we left at 7:30p, the lot was packed and people circling around hoping to snag a spot from folks leaving. The restaurant is pretty large and has about 3 rooms with different size tables and booths. No matter the size of your party, there's a table that will accommodate. The staff were very nice and attentive and FAST! We had our food out probably 15 min after we put in our order! Now...on to the food. We ordered one of the set menus for our party of 7 and it was spot on! As you can see in the pictures we had all the "classics". Our set meal could easily be enjoyed by at least 10 people. We had so many leftovers! The food was all well prepared and sufficiently seasoned. Portions of each dish was plentiful and everyone will be able to get enough to satisfy. My favorite items: lobster (duh!), kung pao chicken, pork chops, and shaking beef. The seafood soup is a great starter, and don't forget to add a little vinegar and pepper! Great restaurant in the SGV. This location is much bigger than their Rowland Heights restaurant, but the food is exactly the same. This is a great alternative to the popular Newport Seafood, so don't sleep on this place!

Came at 530 pm on a tuesday, and there wasen't anyone here yet. Afterwards it filled up quickly!! The main thing I dont like about this place is they dont have the prices on what your ordering. Which I'll get too at the end. Like any other Chinese restaurant, their menu is super extensive. I love how they have a little bit of everything. And its very well organized too. We ordered the following: 1. Crab and fish maw soup- this soup was amazing. It was just the right temp. Got me sweating. Can easily feed 12 people. Great amount of maw. The consistency is just right. Tasted so good!! 2. Small lobster special- on a bed of noodles. It was about 5 lbs. Cooked well. Could do without. Basically flavors. And it was expensive!! About $30 a lb. So this one dish cost basically the same amount as all the other dishes. Which was just too much. If I knew it was that much I would definitely not have ordered it. 3. Walnut shrimp- not the best walnut shrimp I've had. But it was ok. 4. Garlic shrimp- this shrimp dish was ok. Too many bell peppers and onions. It was just ok. 5. Mongolian beef- flavors were not that great. Very tender though. Could've been better. 6. Sea trout- this was amazing!! I love the sauce. Fish was so soft and tender. The heat, the spice, the sweetness. Some of that sauce in white rice was just perfection. It was really really good. Best dish of what we ordered. 7. Kung pao chicken- this was a really good dish. Crispy bits of chicken. But so soft and tender inside. I love the sauce that it was in. It was by far one of the highlights of the meal. It was good food. Price for everything (except the lobster) was pretty good. Food tasted amazing for the most part. Typical Chinese customer service. Pay at the front. Massively large portions. Solid authentic Chinese food.

The platterful of soy chicken was enjoyed by all, just beware the chicken head will be included if you are squeamish. The soy chicken feet, also seemed to please. No one rushed us out even though the dim sum service was over by 3 pm. We had a leisurely meal and waiters made sure to come by and refill our tea kettles. I really enjoyed Capital Seafood today. About 10 years ago, I had a bad experience with takeout roasted duck, so I avoided coming back, but things change for the better.....food was great...and clearly a lot of diners packed thr place and were smiling and laughing as they dined.... I even enjoyed watching the staff change the dining room to accommodate a large banquet later this evening, which included the assembly of a large stage/dais. Very interesting how the waiters transformed the dining room to accommodate the needs of the banquet to come. Well done staff!!
