This place is so yummy! We are staying in Palm Coast. Drove over to try the oysters. They were good but the combination platters are great. The cheese grits were delicious. Good service! Loved the food! read more

My Wife has been trying to talk me into coming here for a month But she sold me when she told me about the All you can eat shrimp special they have on Tuesdays, because I'm always up for a challenge. I started with the Blackened, then the Grilled, and finished up with the Fried. All three were amazing but the Blackened was my favorite. By the way the Green Beans were really good as well. We will be back and I hope it is next Tuesday. read more

Wow!!! Truly great place and even better staff. This is a much needed establishment for locals in St Augustine. These guys have done an amazing job at rebranding the place. They are keeping live music going and it has been beautifully remodeled, and the menu is beyond fabulous. The staff are all so accommodating and friendly and the owner is a true American patriot. read more

We asked for a first available table and were seated outside in less than 5 minutes. I was on the fence about outside. So glad we sat there! Our server was amazing, the love music was on point, and the breeze was perfect. And we hadn't even eaten yet! My husband and I split the Captains Platter - the seafood was ALL perfectly cooked. Scallops were like butter, shrimp were lightly fried, and the grilled fish was perfect. I HIGHLY recommend the pimento cheese grits. I am not a grits fan, but these were seriously delicious. Definitely a hit for the whole family! read more

Great food. Great service. Very busy, so glad we had a reservation! Large party of 13. Ordered lots of apps, drinks. Oysters were excellent.

We had a reservation for 6:30. Arrived at 6:15 and the hostess greeted us with a smile and took us to our table. I had requested a server as we had the same server couple of weeks ago and she was excellent server name Zena. We received the best service and very prompt, the manager came around wow what a hard working crew, the manager was out there working with the employees hats off to you I believe her name is Rebecca. She came to our table making sure everything was good. Thank you Zena and Rebecca for making our dinner enjoyable. read more

On Labor Day, we were delighted with getting seated right away, indoors as we wanted. Lily, our amazing server, was friendly & accommodating. I lucked out that Monday's special is 1lb crab legs for $12, with an appetizer. I had already eyed a Tuna Poke on the menu, so I satisfied that craving with the tuna appetizer instead. My husband had the stuffed Grouper. We enjoyed the fresh seafood prepared well, but the highlight of dinner was the great service. I appreciated the substantial napkins and actually good quality biodegradable straws. Clean restaurant with trivia outside and a great view. Highly recommend & we will be back soon! Kudos Lily! read more

Raved about this restaurant to a friend who was visiting from out of town. We went to eat there on 6/21/22 for dinner. It took 25 min for the server to come over and introduce themselves, took another 20 min for appetizers to arrive. But the worst thing of all was my friends entrée! The lobster was burnt on the shell and completely raw on the inside. When server took it back the manager who was working that evening stated it was fine and nothing was wrong with it. That due to the shell being burnt it may have cooked a little to long! Umm a lobster tail meat cooked appropriately should not appear slimy and tinted with green. That manager basically was saying my friend should eat it.! Will not be eating at this restaurant again and I am a local who supports local business. So sad! read more

I have been here several times and loved it every time. Food , service and ambience are all 5 stars! I took 2 girlfriends Friday and they were blown away. In fact, the next night me and one of those girls decided to go out and eat again. She said "Can we go back there again tonight?", and we did!!! Our server Mary M was just a doll! She was attentive & very friendly. We loved having her as our server. Will probably ask for her next time. Above and beyond service read more

Been years sine I ate here because the previous owner had cats all over the restaurant. This new place doesn't have cats and the food and drinks were outstanding. The service was slow at first but the place was packed. I posted pics of the food but ate the rest of what I didn't post. read more

Delicious, from the appetizer to the meal itself, absolutely delicious. It was just so much that we had to end up taking on main courses home. But the hush puppies were absolutely delicious and the seafood soup that we had was to die for as well. It was so good that we didn't even take a picture of it until we finished eating it. If you're ever going to be in the Saint Augustine area, I recommend this place as a nice venue to take your friend or family. However I recommend staying away from people hours because it can be quite a time that you have to wait and the organizations communication as far as taking your number and calling you it's extremely poor. So you have to stay on top of them in order for them to see you and your party as soon as possible. Outside of that once you get past that stuff everything else is pretty good. The service was excellent as well. I would recommend it for anyone. read more

Great restaurant right on the water in St Augustine. We ordered blackened mahi-mahi and the shrimp and grits both were awesome. The service was good even though they were extremely busy. read more

Evidently they are not concerned about customers who make plans for Saturday mornings to enjoy brunch as they are not keeping their website or reservation system updated. We made a reservation via online for 10:00am seating to celebrate our daughters birthday. Upon walking in the restaurant and finding other parties in line, there was only one waitress who appeared to be getting tables set for the day but no hostess, management etc. When asked about being seated she told us they do not open until 11am and this changed about two weeks ago. She had no explanation as to how or why reservation system online and hours posted on website have not been changed. We made a 45minute drive from our home to only shake heads at such poor management. We went to the Ice House instead for brunch and enjoyed it so very much. read more

Great food and service. Staff is always friendly and there when you need them. Food is fantastic.

We were visiting St Augustine and was looking for a fresh seafood place and luckily found St. Augustine Fish House. We were first seated outside as they were packed but in January and even with the heaters my wife was still a bit chilly so we asked if we could move inside, the staff cleaned a table that had just vacated and moved us promptly. The food was on point and seemed to be very fresh. The service was too notch and very attentive. I had the broiled platter and my wife had something (I didn't pay attention to what she ordered). All in all a great dining experience. read more

Meh is the best way to describe this place. We had really high hopes as it was beautiful aesthetically speaking. Our waiter (maybe Colin) was great. The live music was nice. However our food was sub par. I got the salmon which was very over cooked and dry. My husband had the burger and said it was mediocre, but had a drink that was so bad it had to be sent back. He said it was mostly lemon juice. Someone else in our party had crab soup that was awful. She said it was inedible. Honestly very sad to see such a beautiful place have food taste so bad. read more

The place looks fantastic, tucked back in along the River for some spectacular views. We were a party of 5 with a reservation. When we arrived the hostess asked if we would accept a four-top with an extra chair? We stated that we would prefer not to do that, if a larger table was available. We were eventually seated where two tables were pushed together. Unfortunately the tables were of different heights. The waitress was perky and kind and due to the fullness of the restaurant service was slow. Three of the persons in our party had expressed that their food was truly delicious. They gushed and raved about the flavors. My partner and I had a po-boy sandwich and the captain's platter. The sandwich was missing the pickles in the description and we had asked for the tomatoes on the side, they were MIA as well. My platter grilled fish, shrimp, scallops and fried oysters was stone cold, and the fried oysters were very mushy, totally inedible. The fish was unseasoned and the salt shaker was empty. I had ordered a side of coleslaw but got corn delivered instead. We ordered bread pudding, regretted it when we ate it, but they tried to deliver pie instead. Another waiter tried to deliver french fries to our table that we did not order. As for the comfort of the room, it was warm then a cold breeze would come out of nowhere. We were seated in the very back room so not sure what was going on there. I will say, we did not complain to the staff because our friends were enjoying/raving about their delicious meals. Because of this, we did not give the restaurant a chance to correct any errors. You may have a completely lovely experience. I was just happy to be there with my friends. I'll get a burger later. read more

We can't say enough about the wonderful dinning experience we had at St Augustine Fish House and Oyster Company. It was a nice hiding place and very quaint. We will be back for sure!! read more

My boyfriend and I visited on 7/2/24 and sat outside. We got an appetizer of the calamari which was super delicious and definitely worth the price. I got the Seafood Platter and it was soo amazing! Loved every single bite! My boyfriend got the stuffed grouper and said he loved it. Tom, our waiter, was super friendly and quick. When he initially brought me my sweet tea I asked to change it out cause it wasn't sweet enough for me. He said he could bring me some sugar and when the new batch was made he would bring me a new glass. The new batch tasted soo much better. He was super sweet and awesome server despite how busy it was. Excellent all around!!! read more

We went here because the GF liked it a year ago for her birthday. But when our order came the GF was disappointed (and for good reason). My order was the whole fried snapper and her order was the Stuffed Grouper. Both with fries and "bacon collard greens". I liked the Snapper. BUT: For some unfathomable reason the chef decided to heavily salt a salt water fish and ruined the Stuffed Grouper. (why would you do that?? ) It was pretty much inedible and she took it (completely untouched except for that first bite) home. (I'm not sure why, because I tasted it and it was awful). It is my unshakable belief that a chef that uses too much salt does so because he doesn't know the first thing about how to season something. His only tool is salt because that's how much experience he has. He uses salt, becomes used to it and doesn't think that his customers will react to getting a "salt block" on their plate. Because HE (or she) doesn't think it's too much salt. I'm reminded of the person whose only tool is a hammer so he treats everything like a nail. The only tool this "chef" (and I use the term loosely), has here is a fist full of salt. A filet o' fish would've been better. On the other hand: the Bacon Flavored Collard Greens was really good. with a touch of acid infused in the greens with bits of bacon. read more

This restaurant really surprised me. I'm not a huge sea food fan but my boyfriend is so we came here on our first night in St Augustine. We thought their patio area was open but it wasn't and we had brought our dog and they were still able to accommodate us! That was so appreciated. We ordered the Ahi tuna appetizer and 6 steamed oysters. Both were great, and the oysters with lemon and some butter were amazing. I had the lobster ravioli for an entree and my boyfriend got shrimp with grits, hush puppies, and collard greens, both were also very good! The only thing that was just ok were the drinks. I got a rum runner and he got an old fashioned, might be best to stick with beer. Overall I would recommend coming here if you can! read more

Fantastic meal and service every time we have been. The sushi and seafood are incredible!
