Bagel Den is so good, I recommend it to friends all the time. The breakfast sandwiches are delicious and so are just the bagels with cream cheese. Lattes here are extremely affordable and always good. Unfortunately, I pay to add cheese to my breakfast sandwich every time we come and it has not come out correct once. Over the last year and a half, I have probably ordered the sandwich and added cheddar about 10 times and it has never come out with cheddar on it. Love that they have a drive thru. It takes a while but it's worth the wait. Food is best eaten right away, I notice if I wait 10-15 mins to drive home, bagels get a bit hard. This is a super easy spot to grab a quick bite. The drive thru was fast. I got a bacon egg and cheese on an everything bagel and asked for it toasted. The bagel was great for a Utah bagel. It isn't East coast but it hits. Service was extra friendly. The bagel didn't seem toasted which was a bummer but it still hit the spot. I would go back again and ask for extra toasted. Second time here giving a second chance after subpar service and product. Bagels deformed and extra chewy compared to Heber location. 4 workers at 10 am. Simple order of 3 bagels sliced. 10 minutes to get them. One worker doing drinks. One doing the cashier and getting bagels. Two other workers looking at their phones and watching the drink staff work. Cashier took my order and helped the next person who got their drink before I got my order. Weird vibe between workers and sub par bagels. Recommend driving to Heber to get better and consistent product and service with a smile. read more

I ordered the Mexicana breakfast bagel and it was just the right amount of spice for me. The heat came from the cream cheese which was full of diced jalapeños. I liked the cream cheese a lot and thought it was the best part of the sandwich. I thought the height of the bagel with all the fixings was perfect, so that you could taste everything in one bite. The bagel was good, but the four comes from it being something I wouldn't write home about. The service was great and the person who took my order was helpful as it was my first time there. We came late on a Saturday morning (~10am) and it was busy, but we didn't have to wait too long. The idea of this place is fun for a breakfast out and it's very popular, however...it's definitely a place that caters to Utahans who will pay for it. Thankfully, I had a BOGO free coupon which made this breakfast worth it. The sandwiches were both pretty yummy and filling, although I thought the bagels were a little tougher and denser than I prefer. (They're pretty thin which you can see from the picture.) I wanted a bigger, "fluffier" bagel. Without the coupon, my husband and I agreed we probably wouldn't pay $9 for a medium-sized bagel sandwich. Hence the 4/5 stars. read more

Not a fan of bagels but this place is the bomb! Service is fast and the place is bright. To try out this place we decided to order a hot and a cold bagel option. A Philly cheese beef with everything but bagel and a lox with Asiago cheese bagel. Both were incredibly delicious. The Philly cheese one has melted cheese as you pull it apart and everything just go together so well. Lox bagels usually gets too salty when they slap a bunch of it on but this one was just the right amount of salmon. There wasn't anything special about the bagels, it was just done right. Ordered a bacon, egg and cheese on a salt bagel and a toasted blueberry with cream cheese. Salt bagel way over cooked and dry and not a true salt bagel. Eggs were dry and overcooked. A true bacon egg and cheese should be made with American cheese not cheddar. Blueberry was mediocre at best. Won't be going back. Big disappointment as an east coast guy looking to somewhat duplicate NYC. If you want to duplicate NY, head to the Bagel Cafe in Las Vegas. read more

This is an average, day old grocery store bagel that they charge way too much for. You'd be better off going to Walmart and building the bagel yourself than getting it from here. We came for bagels and coffee at 8:30 AM. The bagels and cream cheese were good; the coffee "experience" was beyond a disappointed! Both the urns of self - serve coffee were nearly empty and room temp at best. We told the workers about this and assumed they would make more coffee, 20 minutes later, still no coffee was being brewed! At that time, the worker only offered to "steam" my cup of cold coffee??? This seemed very unsanitary and odd; wouldn't this also create a watered-down cup coffee? I declined this and asked if they could brew more coffee as there were 4 people in our party who all ordered, and wanted, coffee. Another person in our party inquired about the coffee 10 minutes later.... the worker said there was still coffee in the urn, (which was still the fore mentioned inch of coffee at the bottom of the urn which was now completely cold!) I was recommended to have the salt bagel and it was delicious, did it rough up the roof of my mouth...yes but it was so worth it! It pared well the the egg, tomato, onion, spinach, onion/chive cream cheese & of course the lox! Who knew you could find that on the menu in the middle of UT. I regret not visiting The Bagel Den sooner. I loved my visit there! The Bagel Den is conveniently located within the Riverwoods in Provo. You can get all your shopping done and visit some other spots, or you can just come here for their delicacies. The Bagel Den is beyond a bagel den, they also specialize in different coffee drinks--you can opt to sit-in coffee shop style or zip through the drive through. I feel like they have pretty dang good prices on their menu. A bagel is a few bucks and then if you want to get something on it, you can for an additional charge. I like that they have all kinds of different flavors for their lattes. Many coffee shops claim to be a coffee shop and then only have a simple vanilla flavor. In addition to having really good options with good prices, I was shocked with how much is actually on their menu. They have 19 bagel options to choose from and 16 different topping options for the bagels (yes, I counted). They also have a wide variety of breakfast sandwiches, which start at $5. As if that is not enough, they also have lunch options. Their lunch options come with your choice of bagel with chips, fruit cup or seasonal deli salad and a pickle. Their lunch options range from $6 to $11--again, super reasonably priced! They have seating at a bar top area, with higher chairs, or there are tables that can host 1-10 people. It can get pretty crowded in here, depending on when you go, but I think they have plenty of space. If the lobby does get full, you can also sit outside in the area if it is nice enough. As I am sitting here, I am not sure they are lacking in features. It seems to be dog friendly--there have been lots of cute pups passing through. They have WiFi, a drive through, a lobby, lunch, drinks, etc.. The Bagel Den really has it all. I love my visits to The Bagel Den and I hope to be back lots in the future! read more

This place is my favorite sandwich place, it's amazing!!! Though, I do have one complaint. My husband and I come here every Sunday after church and we go through the drive thru. It always feels to take longer than it should, especially considering the fact we order one bagel. I'm not sure if they're short staffed or just have a less efficient way of doing it but I always seem to be waiting like 15-20 minutes for one bagel and maybe one or two cars in front of us. The worst coffee I've ever had. The first time I came I ordered the pretzel bagel Cali style and a Chocolate Orange mocha. The bagel was decent but kind of tough (I guess expected because it's a pretzel bagel) and the mocha was... not a mocha. It was like vaguely sweet milk. Couldn't taste orange, chocolate, or even coffee. I decided to try again another day and I ordered an iced espresso with a pump of flavoring and a small splash of almond milk. The workers were confused, charged me for an americano, and gave me a hot latte. It was 2 shots of espresso in a full cup of almond milk. Definitely not a splash and definitely not an iced espresso. I had already driven away so I decided to try it and it tasted like watered down almond milk. Again- the weakest coffee and no hint of flavoring, just mild sweetness. I'm seeing reviews from people saying they don't usually like coffee but love this place and it's because there's no coffee to be found hahaha. I ended up having to get my coffee somewhere else because I couldn't make it through the cup. It's such a cute location, the workers are sweet, the guy I presume to be owner/manager is super friendly, location is perfect, and it has great hours. BEST BAGELS EVER!!! I went expecting to only get 1 bagel and a coffee for myself, like I typically do on Wednesdays before work. And I wanted to try this place out as it's on my way. But the staff here, especially Brooklin was just so awesome and helpful and the bagels she made were so delicious and looked the best (don't tell the others) I ended up dropping $695.00 in one trip. If you only walk in to smell the glorious bagels in the morning, your trip will have been well worth it. The bagel den is such a wonderfully fresh addition to Provo! I had been to the original location in Heber, and the location in the River Woods did not disappoint. At 11AM on a Saturday the owner delightfully greeted us at the counter. He was very kind and told us all about how everything is fresh and high quality. After tasting it, I believe it! We got the cali and the bacon egg and cheese bagels, one on Asiago and one on a pretzel bagel, and we added cream cheese to each. I wish the cream cheese just came on every bagel sandwich to begin with, but it is an extra .50-.75¢ to add. Both bagel sandwiches were delightfully delicious! They don't look super thick, but they taste absolutely wonderful and I felt full by the end. We also got the banana strawberry smoothie and the hot chocolate and really enjoyed both. I can't wait to come back and try more bagel combinations! This place is a gift to the breakfast scene in Utah County, and the best part is they're open all day long! We frequent NYC quite often so I was pleasantly surprised to find a place boasting bagels like our favorite vacation spot. This is the second time we have been there. The first was ok. The second was a disappointment. We both ordered a cin/raisin with plain cream cheese . Bagel was small. The cream cheese a mix of something with the cream cheese and it was such a thin layer we could see the bagel through the spread. Total rip off if you get cream cheese, butter, or a sandwich) But seriously they are so inconsistent with the amount of toppings you get on your bagels.
