I wish this menu was updated because I drove all the way here from Pleasant Grove to get this delicious chicken salad sandwich that was on the menu when I arrived he told me he hasn't seen that menu in years. Please update your advertisement.

Guru's has a little bit of everything for everyone. And they actually do most of it pretty well. First time with the buffalo pizza and it was solid. Tons of chicken on it, big size for 1 person. Could use a little more buffalo sauce tho and wish the chicken was a little less dry.

so happy they have vegan options! i got the "good karma noodles" and coconut squash soup. everything tasted very fresh and they loaded up the toppings on my pasta. soo much food for $17. i like that you order at the counter then seat yourself. i will definitely be back here.

My first visit to Guru's Cafe was a revelation. Located on a busy street, I went at the recommendation of colleagues who knew that it was walking distance from my hotel (the Marriott Hotel and Conference Center in Provo, Utah). The menu is difficult to categorize. A little bit Tex-Mex; a little bit Indian; a little bit Italian; a little bit American -- and all of it made me want to order the menu! I ordered the Caprese Grilled Cheese (served with chips and a pickle). The grilled cheese, as one would expect, was basil pesto, tomato and cheese grilled between fresh focaccia. Succulent! I just wish it were a little bit larger, as it was not as large as I had hoped it might have been. The star of my meal, however, was the half order of Sweet Potato Fries that I ordered. Easily, and by a wide margin, the best sweet potato fries I have ever had. Crisp, no sogginess, perfect flavor. I embarrassed myself by eating more than enough for two or even three people. They will be my benchmark for sweet potato fries going forward. I will not hesitate to visit again!

Great cafe right on main street Provo. I go here for coffee occasionally. The food is also amazing and lots of options with healthy portions but it's always packed haha. Big enough place though with two big rooms combined and outdoor seating. The focaccia sandwhich is to die for.

Atmosphere is casual. The food is good. Good amount of vegetarian options on the menu. Portions are good. Service is amazing and quick. Prices are fair. Everything is getting to be pricey. Large space with outlets if you need to plug in and do work or homework

Food was great!! Wish it came out more warm, fries were pretty cold. We had to wait quite awhile for a salad to come out too. Staff wasn't super concerned with making sure food was brought out efficiently. However it was really flavorful and the space was open and great for dates or groups!

The pastas we ordered were both good, both of them have artichoke hearts in them. Apparently veggie part on the menu is for vegetarian, good karma noodle has tofus instead of meat, the workers need to know their menu better because the one I talked to didn't explained it well. Sweet potato fries is always a hit!

We stopped by Guru's prior to going to a comedy show with some friends around 5:30 on a Friday. There was already a line to order and they were quite busy. The line was fast and we were eating before too much time had passed. Huge menu, reasonably priced, quick food. Lots to choose from and try. We ordered the Black and Blue Steak Wrap. I thought it was good but could only taste the blue cheese. I like blue cheese but wanted to taste the steak too. 3/5 My wife ordered the Maui Wowie wrap and it was really messy to the point you couldn't pick it up. My wife thought it would be better as a rice bowl with a fork. 3/5 Chips and Queso, lots of chips, queso was a little disappointingly bland, lacking flavor. When does cheese lack flavor? 2/5 Sweet Potato Fries. These were the best sweet potato fries I've ever had. Seasoned really well and their smokey, bbq, fry sauce went with them perfectly. I'm actually craving these again now. A must order item. 5/5 Cookie Skillet Sunday. Amazing, slightly under cooked and doughy, just like a Sunday should be. 5/5 Well give it another try if we're back in town as there was a bunch of things on the menu that sounded good.

    Funky "trees" in Guru's
    Trevor M.

This place is so weird. Which isn't bad, but I have no clue what type of vibe they're going for inside, since there's funky little fake trees and some fun lighting and also a portrait of Gandhi on the wall. It could make for a really interesting roommate outing or date night, but their menu is pretty hit or miss, at least with the people I've gone with. To order, you go up to the register at the counter, then grab a number and seat yourself, and then they bring your food out to your table. The menu has a wide variety of options, but, again, I'm not exactly sure what vibe or cuisine they're going for. I've gotten the curry quesadilla a few times. One time I actually went to the restaurant specifically for the curry quesadilla, which is a good sign. Their sweet potato fries are also pretty good. The last time I was there, it took so long to get my food that I had to go up and ask about it, and then my quesadilla was a little too salty on the outside. Overall, a fun little place in downtown Provo that's easy to get to on the UVX and has pretty good value for the price. (Updated to add photos)

Finally, World-Class Espresso in the Heart of Provo! If you…read moreare an espresso enthusiast living in or traveling through Utah County, your search ends here. Incidental Coffee Roasters isn't just a coffee shop; it's a masterclass in the craft. I can say without hesitation that this is the best espresso I have ever had in Utah County. What sets Incidental apart is the absolute precision in their flavor. Because they roast their own single-origin beans in-house, the coffee is incredibly fresh and "dialed in" to perfection. My espresso is always exceptionally balanced--smooth, with a complex natural sweetness and none of the bitterness you find at larger chains. It is clearly a labor of love for true coffee purists. Why you should visit: The atmosphere is minimalist, intentional, and calming--perfect for a focused morning or a sophisticated coffee date. But the real heartbeat of the shop is the owner, Dylan. He is incredibly knowledgeable and clearly lives and breathes coffee science, yet he's one of the friendliest people you'll meet. Whether you're a fellow coffee nerd wanting to talk extraction or a casual drinker looking for a recommendation, he makes everyone feel welcome without a hint of pretension. If you appreciate the "art" of the bean, do yourself a favor and stop by. Provo's coffee scene is better because of incidental! I come in here multiple times per week and am never disappointed. I also buy their fresh roasted coffee for making espresso at home and it is amazing! I like all the roasts i've tried but the Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Iwariti roast or the Ethiopia Guji roast are my favorite!

It began with the older female barista who rang me up. She was incredibly rude, cocky, dismissive, and had an "attitude" toward every word I said. When they realized they were out of whipped cream for my decaf latte (decaff which I need for a heart condition), she and the staff laughed sarcastically. When I asked for other options, she snapped that they "wouldn't give things for free," which I never asked for. After they mentioned that water wasn't free to go and asked that I pay $1 for a water I insisted I would like the water to stay well they didn't like that I wanted to sit down and drink my coffee, also that water almost never came til mins before I had to go , I had to ask three times before a bald older grouchy looking man named Christopher slammed the cup on the counter, the lady who took the order never got the water and so when I reminded them that I had waited forever for the water he went shouting that he was "too busy with the drive thru and that I had to wait ." The situation turned dangerous after I used the restroom which I had to ask for a code to enter and he shouted the numbers at me like I was a lil Toddler learning numbers . I overheard Christopher calling me a "bitch." When I was entering the restroom. As I came out I tried to ask the female barista for the owner's name to report the name Calling and attitude , she ignored me twice. Christopher then abandoned the drive-thru, holding a mop, and began screaming at me. Shouting, "Yes, I said you are a bitch because you are a bitch, coming here giving us attitude about whipp cream treating us like crap !" He proceeded to: * Physically intimidate me by lunging toward me and repeatedly slamming the mop against the floor as he mopped . * Use xenophobic slurs, called me a bitch at least 10 times, mocking my accent and screaming that he didn't know "what hole I came from" but that I "needed to go back to it." Both of these employees Threaten me by shouting for me to "get the eff out" and claiming they would call the police for trespassing because I dared to ask for the owner's name and because they didn't like that I was not taking their attitude or prejudice against me. Just so you know Mr nit so kind Chris working at the coffee shop. I own 2 business and I am a citizen raised in Utah since 1998 and came here legally! You making assumptions about what hole I came from is pretty low and ignorant . The drive-thru was left unattended while he screamed at me. Multiple customers were so horrified some were confused some walked out. In fact, a couple followed me to my car to make sure I was okay and suggested I file formal charges. Christopher has apparently managed this shop for 8 years, yet he lacks basic anger management and human decency. If you are a person with an accent or a customer or professional who expects basic respect, stay away. This staff is a massive liability to the brand. They need to leave customer service to people who actually want to work who has the energy and the passion for customers and who want to represent a brand not some hippie who doesn't care to trash the brand and drive revenue to the floor . Check their google reviews and you will see how much they disrespect customers. They think because their friends have posted some fake reviews that those reviews can distract from the other reviews where customers or victims or as they call us " trolls" have posted the truth. I don't care how much people thinks that senior barista Chris and senior lady barista think they are a badass. For all I know they both act as if they hate their job wearing that bitterness in their faces. It is clear that that are butthurt that there aren't as many customers "wonder why" but also butthurt that they probably don't get many tips. Please go get a real Job leave this to the youthful happy hipsters. I know several baristas that have worked here at both locations in the past and many have left this job unhappy. Owners wake up before you guys have to close your doors maybe start finding that guy and that lady a replacement before you are left with just Chris family and friends as customers. We are in a economy where we can't risk losing customers. Chris won't pay your bills when you have to shut down that place or better yet he won't be able to afford or help you guys pay a lawsuit if you keep allowing him to not control his anger and entitlement in this building. Good luck. I give it a couple of years before this building goes out of business.
