Waffle pizookie, churros sandwich
Tanner Y.

Best part about this place is the comfy couches. If you want to come for the food go somewhere else. Mediocre if best. Consistently Burnt waffles, burnt cookies. 2nd best part about this place is its open past 10 pm If you're okay with comfy couches bad food and chilling past 10 this is great.

Mango daiquiri and pina colada

I love the menu of non-alcoholic, fun drinks. I got the pina colada, and my friend got the mango daiquiri with the addition of raspberry flavor. We also shared a pizookie (one of my favorite desserts) with graham canyon ice cream, and I am honestly mad I have never thought about using graham canyon ice cream for pizookies before! It's GENIUS and delicious! When we went, there was no one taking orders, rather you submitted your order and paid through an iPad. Really self-sufficient and cool to do it that way, all except for the fact that people can take longer browsing through pictures of the menu items on the iPad which may hold up the line a bit. Fun, cozy ambience. My friend and I stayed in a booth and chatted for a few hours. A great spot for dessert, drinks, and hanging out.

The pizookie is huge. We got the bigger size and it was delicious. But just too expensive..

Churros for ice cream sandwich

Be prepared to WAIT for some items. CAME IN ON A WEDNESDAY EVENING. Ordered 3 ice cream churro sandwiches to go. Waited 40 minutes :( It was definitely not a fast and easy desert to go like we anticipated. It's not the biggest of deals. Just please let customers know if that is how much of their time used. That said, they hooked us up with extra churros for our long wait. The dessert was really delicious, aside from one of the churros being partly raw inside. They gave us the deconstructed version for to go. We didn't get to finish it since it was really late and we had to drive back home. I think the desserts are affordable. The drinks look awesome. It's literally a mixology bar with no alcoholic drinks. Would love to come back if we have time to chill and relax. Lots of college kids, but still family friendly.

Loaded Fries!

I've been wanting to try The Wash for so long and I'm so glad I finally did!! This place deserves 5 stars in every aspect. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The prices are on point. The service is fast. The environment is fun. The food is delicious! The Wash is sort of a mix between Sodalicious, The Chocolate, Waffle Love, and Hot Potato. It's the best of everything! They also have games you can take to your table to play while you eat your food and hang out! I love that it's open late and there is a ton of different seating space for groups. I want to come here all the time now. I highly recommend trying the Loaded Fries and The Queen! Both are $5, are big enough to share, and are incredibly delicious! The Queen is like a mix between a donut, puff pastry, and croissant, caramelized with ice cream, strawberries, and whipped cream on top! And boy is it good! The fries are loaded with cheese, bacon, and special sauce! And they layer it all together too, so you can get some on every fry. I'm drooling just thinking about it! Next time I want to try the Bubble Waffle and a Drink! 5 stars all the way for my experience tonight. I can't wait to come back here very soon!

Remembering what we ordered here could prove to be a challenge--we were fresh from an event elsewhere in town and there were a few of us and it was just a lot of plates. The good news is, that ordering it was pretty easy. I know everyone talks about the food, and all the other stuff first, but for me the big news was that with a complicated menu (lots of "in-house" marketing-like names for things) you order from a kiosk with lots of pictures. That was probably the best innovation in what is already a crowded space in Utah: the after-date dessert shop. On to the food, however, it's a mix of savory/sweet, with a heavy emphasis on the sweet. There's ice cream (BYU Creamery? Methinks so based on the empty bucket I saw), bubble waffles, boba, pastries like the kouign aman, slushy things, fruit-covered things, soda-y things... it's really a who's who of Utah treats including the pizookie (like half-baked cookies in a pie tin covered in ice cream). The churro ice cream sandwich was a new entry for me, and I actually got to taste it. A nice break from the normal cookie-clad ice cream sandwich. We only tried a few savory things including the loaded fries (bacon and sriracha) and a grilled cheese sandwich. They're both super simple and hard to mess up, so they did us a solid. Nothing explosive here, but again, fried... cheese... bacon... no complaints. My frozen hot chocolate was minty and refreshing, the bubble waffle the right texture, the kouign aman is not the delicate pastry you hope for (more bready) but it comes topped with ice cream, strawberries, and cream so you know, it's not about the pastry. The space is much bigger than I thought, and it looks like on the far east side of it they're putting in another bar and perhaps a stage? It's like a showroom for IKEA in this place, but the aesthetic is nice. Board games at the front (leave your ID if you want to borrow) and despite a large crowd, our food came out fast. All in all, positive. Special shoutout to Sarah and Kaylee who were working that night. Those two were slaying it in a room full of daters and sugar starved groups, slinging treats and making them look good and get out of the kitchen fast.

Pina coladas! Churros were alright, but compared to everything else!..

Goodness gracious what a find! Good desserts, is open late, and has plenty of room for big groups. Loved the pazooki (hot chocolate chip or double chocolate cookie with vanilla or graham canyon ice cream), the pina colada was actually really good, and my niece loved her Shirley temple. The bubble waffles looked way good but their machine went down so we had to miss out. Got the Queens. The croissants were a little tough but the combo with strawberries, cream, and ice cream were solid. I'll for sure be thinking about those pina coladas though..

Come here a lot and so good. The pizookie, melon ice, fries, and grilled cheese are some of my usuals.

Honeydew boba, winter melon boba

Some of these things could be pros for some and cons for others. But first thing is, you order on an iPad, by yourself. Nobody takes it. The menu isn't well explained as you look at it on the wall, but it is on the iPad, so things can bottle neck. We paid a little over $10 for 2 drinks, and the drinks were a little small, but they were still good. Atmosphere is inviting, lots of tables, games and stuff to play. They have hot food too, fries and what not, but we just ordered the boba. If you're coming just for boba, there are other places you can go that are just as good, but cheaper. But if you want some nice place for a date night or to hang out with friends, this place is pretty good. Small parking lot, so be aware finding parking could be difficult.

No-jito
Samantha P.

Great mocktails for the price! We ordered the no-jitos and they tastes delicious and there was a lot of drink for the $4 we paid. Service was little slow but they were really busy, food looked good but one thing that surprised me on the menu was table top s'mores where they bring a flame to your table, a cute idea but i would never pay $10 for some marshmallows and a flame but people seem to like it

Bubble Waffle

It sounded and looked good but what an epic disappointment. The "Queen" was nothing like a Kouign-Aman. Nothing!!! It was soggy, with no lamination whatsoever and the melted butter on it was either rancid or it was margarine instead of butter. I took two bites and was done. The ice cream was mediocre and the whipped cream tasted like whipped topping. The only good thing where the fresh strawberries. The bubble waffle was over cooked and way too chewy, and it took forever. I tried my kouing-aman decided not eat it, played a round of pick up sticks, then it was finally delivered. But, at least it had good flavor, right? Nope. You know how bisquick waffles have no flavor? Yeah just like that. Again, the only good thing were the strawberries and bananas. Very disappointing.

This place is amazing! My wife and I came for a Saturday brunch and we were pleasantly surprised by just how good the food was. We definitely can't wait to come back. Great local joint! Sean is the man!!

Kouign-Amann

Wow! I was thoroughly impressed with this place! Such a fun place to check out. This place is perfect for when you've got a fun date, are bored, want a yummy treat, need a place to hang out, or just want something fun to do. They have got sweet AND savory treats for you to try! My friend and I wanted to try both when we came so we got the loaded fries and the kouign-amann. The loaded fries were so good! They were layered with cheese and bacon and all sorts of goodness. They really hit the spot after a long day of studying for me. The way the worker described the kouign-amann was if "a doughnut, a croissant, and a puff pastry had a baby." That description was pretty spot on and honestly IT WAS AS GOOD AS IT SOUNDS. It is pretty spacious inside. There are plenty of games for you to play with your group while you enjoy your treats. The workers are also so friendly and helpful. They really helped to make the experience for me. The biggest kicker for me though is how inexpensive it is! You won't break the bank coming here. I have nothing bad to say about this place! You should check it out! I will definitely be back soon. (Can't wait to try some of their drinks next time!)

This is the third time we've been here and the first time I've left a review…read more We were excited to visit again because we don't often make it to the Orem area. When we arrived and sat down, we were greeted by Joe telling us that "House rules, you're not allowed to order the same item". Lol. Love that guy! We both ordered Denver omelets, one without onions, extra mushrooms, French toast, and grits and one without mushrooms, hash browns, and pancakes. First off, the pancakes were amazing! They're light, had crispy edges, and had a wonderful flavor. But the best thing was it was in the shape of little donuts, which was a nice surprise. Our entrees came but were somehow got switched. We didn't realize it at first but both were still good. Unfortunately, my wife put Chalula on hers and I put Tobasco on mine and we don't like each other's choice of condiments. The other unfortunate thing was that I had an eggshell in my omelet. Even though we had these misfortunes you can't hide the flavor of these dishes and they certainly don't skimp on toppings. My grits were too sweet today. If it's too sweet for me, it must've been really sweet. The only other criticism I saw was that they were filling the syrup bottles from large Log Cabin jugs. They also were using Idahoan shredded potatoes from a large carton. I can understand the potatoes but how great would it be to have freshly made syrup. Still a great experience and they are still one of the best breakfast places on the state.

This warm, friendly welcome set the tone for the whole experience. Joe stopped by and told us the "rules". Everyone orders something different and we all share. My daughters both ordered waffles but one got it in a combo so she could follow the rules. I got the breakfast burrito with Texas sausage & bacon. My husband got the eggs & diced ham with a side of biscuits and gravy. My son got the French Dip because you can order breakfast or lunch at 10 am. Everyone ate a good portion if not all of their food. It was good. We will definitely be back. For the food but more for the service!
