The twisted cow is a lot of fun. We got the 12 and 16 ounce milkshakes. They do fun things like put a rim of Nutella, peanut butter or Bischoff around the top of your jar and then have candy of your choice stick to it. They have plenty of toppings. We got the brown cow brownies ice cream and they mixed in peanut butter which made it really delicious. This place has fun presentation of the shakes and is worth the visit. Note to the owners that the brownie you can get as a topping is not that good. I would work on a better recipe.

First off, let me say that the ice cream here is great. The peanut butter ice cream that I had was truly some of the best. However, why the three star review, is due to the fact that the restaurant smelled weird. It smelt like chemicals or paint or sewer or something and it made it very hard to enjoy the ice cream let alone, not leave a lingering weird flavor in your mouth from the smell. Where your ice cream was prepared, was actually pretty messy. There was ice cream all over the counter, and it didn't seem that the employee took the best measures as far as wearing gloves and then touching his face and then going back to serving the ice cream. With all of that, said, though, the ice cream was great, and I will definitely come back to try it again, and give this place a second chance in hopes that there will be a better experience and health procedures will be followed.

I love this new take in ice cream! It's like if roll up crape and byu creamery had a baby together! The ice cream is amazing and they decorate the jar with candy!!!!! I highly recommend sharing one because it's very filling!!! also if you buy the jar for 15 dollars each time you take the jar when you come in you will get 10% off and on certain days 20% off. This is my new favorite ice cream store! The only thing I wish they had was pictures of the ice cream so you knew what they looked like and all the different mash ups you could make! I will be coming here once a month! Sponsor mejk it's just yummy

Such a great place to be at, the ice cream is made in the shop and the service is fantastic!! The owner was such a nice girl and had the best customer experience. Chocolate orange and mint I would highly recommend.

Provo's newest ice cream shop was a delight to visit! We had seen the new signs and we're just dying to try some homemade ice cream and shakes. We went to try it on their opening day and had only good things to say about The Twisted Cow. The look is very modern and very clear on what the menu and the ordering system is. The employees were extremely nice and super helpful. We ended up getting the first two flavors we sampled because they were just so yummy!! We got a double scoop with a honey cow flavor and some brownie flavor. They have different topping options, but we went simple. The ice cream is creamy and rich in flavor. Totally give them a try!

Moooooove out of the way Brooker's and Rockwell Ice Cream, there's a new champ in town! Twisted Cow just opened in November 2022, and it clearly outclasses all the other ice cream places in the area. The owners are some of the most passionate ice cream makers I've ever known and make quality premium flavors ranging from dolce de leche using dolce imported from Argentina to an amazing Madagascar vanilla to a decadent white chocolate peppermint. Not only do they do amazing on the premium ice cream front, they also have killer monster shakes! If you want to try fantastic ice cream, this is the place to go!

Great shake, get the rim: peanut butter, cookie dough ice cream with Oreos for topping, it was delicious. Friendly service, happy they are open late for those night cravings.

This place has such a fun vibe and the ice cream is delicious! It's so fun when you get a jar and all the toppings! Perfect place for date night!

I came here a couple weeks ago for the first time. It's a pretty large space with ample seating. It was about about 15 to 30 minutes before close. There was a couple ahead of us and then a large group of six to eight or so came in, but the staff seemed completely unphased (I personally would've been a little stressed lol) and happily continued serving, answering our questions and giving samples of their delicious ice cream. I felt so welcome and happy with the experience and really enjoyed their ice cream! They have some crazy delicious looking shakes, but I kept it simple (brownie and raspberry cheesecake with Oreo topping) since I was a COW for dinner haha Also, something I REALLY loved (and didn't take advantage of this time, but will next) was that they allowed you to split a scoop, meaning if you only wanted one scoop's amount but two flavors, you could do that! So my friend got two scoops and tried four flavors. She and I loved it!

I thought it was also nice that they had dietary restriction friendly options for those who are keto, gluten free, or vegan. I actually ended up trying one of the sugar free options because the flavors sounded really yummy! I wasn't in the mood for a heavy loaded up cup, but those looked incredible too. I stopped by on a late Saturday afternoon and the space was pretty quiet and chill. The staff members were so incredibly kind and helpful when I was making my decision. They also made it really easy to transport back home. I ended up going with the sugar free butter toffee. This was the first time I've seen sf options at an ice cream shop and unfortunately it did not live up to my expectations. For the most part my experience with sugar free options has been great, but this was completely devoid of any flavor. I'm almost wondering if the sf flavors are a gimmick to make you feel like you're choosing, when in actuality they just whip up cold milk. Part of the experience is they make the ice cream in front of you, but aside from adding a little stevia I'm not sure what all went into my ice cream. When I got home and tried a scoop it just tasted like whole milk. I was super disappointed because I got a large! I'm torn between giving the sf option another shot or just writing it off forever. It was my first time trying Sub Zero, so I'm sad this was my first impression. Besides the flavorless taste, the texture is fun and almost reminds me a little of dippin dots. Overall, torn on my decision to try this place again or not. There's so many good dessert options around, so I guess we'll see. I still think it's a place you should try at least once, but order the sf options at your own risk!

An interesting concept that works. 3.8 stars, is that a thing? LOL…read more This location is pretty cool. Nice layout and the ambiance is relaxed and chill. (Gotta use "chill" and "cool" when talking about an ice cream place, right?) Just by the entrance and under the stair case is a comfy cubby with two or three high rise tables and chairs. A cozy place to eat your ice cream with a nice window view of the entryway and the street. Then there is the upstairs. You go up a long spiral staircase (there's a landing halfway up) to go to the upper room. Pretty cool. Good view of the Provo Temple across the street. Fun place to eat your ice cream. The employee was not only friendly but you could tell she enjoyed her job. She had fun every time she had to make the ice cream. She told you all about it, too. So on the to ice cream. I had a mix in from the menu, Key Lime pie. Lime-flavored ice cream with bits of cheesecake and something else. It was OK, but I bordered on not liking it. It didn't remind of Key lime pie. But the texture was dense. That's what they are proud of. This process does not stir air into the mixture so it is much more dense than regular ice cream. And not only that, you get a lot of it. The small size cup is really huge! I'm not a fan of the texture. I like a good creamy, smooth ice cream. And while it makes you feel like you are getting more for your money, while not bad, the experience is not a good as a creamy ice cream or gelato. It's ice cream. And it's dense. Very dense. Still Ice cream, though, but very dense. It's not bad. Just not my jam. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

I've never been to the Creamery before, but I will definitely come back!…read more I ordered the crispy chicken sandwich, and it was quite tasty. There are a few different stations with condiments and other sandwich toppings (including fry sauce), so it's a bit much to navigate, but it allows you to top your sandwich however you like. I also stole a few fries from my daughter, and they were delicious. After dinner, we got ice cream. I tried the chocolate Graham Canyon--two thumbs up! We also bought a few other things (cookies and cream milk, chocolate chip banana bread), and everything was yummy. The wait is very long for both food and ice cream, and somehow there aren't enough tables (even though there are a lot of them). It's quite crowded, too. But it's a fun and cheerful space, and it seems like a spectacular spot for students on campus to meet up and have fun.

More parking, but it is very narrow between the rows. I didn't park my truck there because of it. But parking is accessible at the Music School across the street for a very easy walk.
