We stopped by for an after dinner sugar overdose and this place definitely provided! We loved the selection of drinks/shakes/smoothies and they really hit the spot. I opted for one of the small cakes and really enjoyed it. The cute little container made it easy to transport the leftovers and it stored well in the fridge until we could polish it off later. The donuts were a bit underwhelming. Very heavy and greasy. The fillings and toppings were good but we couldn't get past the cake. Not bad, just not great. Go for the sugar, go for the drinks, go for the cakes. Perhaps try one of the donuts in case we caught them on a day that wasn't their best.

Already a fan with the original location in SLC, and so happy to see this one open in Utah County! Their Ube cake is to die for! Favorite donuts: passionfruit, ube, and strawberries and cream! They make excellent matcha drinks with different flavors, and I'm a fan of their Thai Iced teas! Ambience and location is on point. Service was friendly, and super clean environment!

I have loved Chubby Baker for years from when they started to make deliveries in Salt Lake City. We are excited they have opened a beautiful location in Orem! They welcomed us with smiles and happiness. The decor is a delight with a flower wall and soft pink decor. The Asian-inspired drinks come in a variety of options. The cakes are heaven and you are going to love them. We started with the banana pudding and are moving on to the decadent chocolate. The donuts are where they started and the flavors are knockouts. The OG passion fruit and young coconut are still among my favorites, but we also indulged in crème brûlée and others! Welcome to Utah County, Chubby Baker!

I feel like the look of this place doesn't scream "Asian American Bakery" at ALL. Thank goodness someone told me about it or I wouldn't have set foot in this place haha (it looks like any other Utah bakery catered to girls in their 20s). That being said, the Asian-flavored donuts here are amazing. I love all things ube, coconut, passionfruit, etc. and this place HAS IT. The donuts themselves are denser, but so soft and don't taste too sweet/heavy. My personal favorites are the ube cream donut and the Thai young coconut donut; the flavors are there but not too overpowering and the cream fillings are light & fluffy. The fruit-flavored donut fillings have perfect tartness that are balanced out with the sugar-dusted donuts! (I haven't tried the cake boxes or drinks yet.) Definitely a fun place to go out for a sweet (Asian-flavored) treat!

we love the chubby humans. k but honestly felt a little lackluster with this place. i tried the hot guava (hint of tajin- very slight but brings a kick) and passionfruit cream cheese. the presentation was beautiful (those seeds my love) but i was kind of bored after a bite or two. i will blame myself, i could not live up to potential.

These donuts are delicious! They are really big and easy to eat. We only tried the donuts but they have other options too like smoothies, shakes, and cake. My personal favorite was the seasonal pumpkin caramel donut and my husbands favorite was the coconut donut. The staff took us under their wing when we told them we had never been here before and gave us a run down of the place and the favorites. Also the inside is so cute and we loved the packaging to take our donuts home. It is a little more on the expensive side so if you are not wanting to pay a ton I suggest going to a different bakery but it is super yummy and if you find a fav then it might be worth just getting that one rather than a dozen or half dozen.

Good place, mediocre pastries. Lady working the counter was great, and it was a chic little spot, but the food really needs a boost.

It does have a homemade feel to it which is as nice. I think their cookies n cream is one of their better flavors. We tried the Cookie Monster which had an overload of cookies (chips ahoy and oreos)! I thought there was almost too many cookies since the ice cream also had cookies in it. But I did enjoy it nonetheless. I'd like to try others ice cream flavors but the chocolate didn't look dark enough to be chocolate... not sure it my chocoholic heart would like it. I did enjoy the donuts! They had a funnel cake texture. Loved that. We tried the Strawberry Shortcake flavor which was nice with those fresh strawberries because the donuts are super sweet. The menu was really hard to read and understand. They should put the ice cream options up there somehow and emphasize the fact that they make their own. Don't be modest, strut your stuff!

That alone is concerning and raises serious questions about legality and food safety. This is Combo B: half a chicken "for two" with fries and rice. Total cost: $27. What I received was half a chicken, a handful of fries, and a small portion of rice. The portion size does not match the price at all. You see on the menu that they have a 1/4 chicken for $6.99 well it's just that it doesn't come with fries so to me it seems the half a chicken for 2 people made more sense bc that combo comes with fries well a hand full of fries not enough not even for one person and on top of it they were frozen not even real potatoes. The chicken tasted identical to a $5 Costco rotisserie chicken with seasoning added and reheated. Nothing fresh, nothing special, nothing that justifies the price. The sodas were served hot. Not room temperature hot. Completely unacceptable for takeout. I'm Latina and very familiar with this type of food. This is not authentic, not premium, and not worth the cost. You are far better off buying the $5 Costco chicken, and that's saying a lot. To the owner: I'll say this in the best kindest way possible; this is Utah, not California pricing. Taking advantage of people's trust it's not nice. I will not be returning, and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

They have soft dough based cones (almost like a horn shape) that are fresh baked and rolled in cinnamon. They have limited time special selections of tlother flavors too (like golden Oreo - I was so tempted on that but wanted to try th OG). The you select a different soft serve flavor, vanilla, chocolate, swirl or a lilited time flavor. Honestly they could have 2 or 3 more options of soft serve - 3 isn't a lot. Then you select a swirl in the cone like Nutella, cookie butter or peanut butter and 1-4 toppings and a drizzle. They carefully fill your cone with the swirl and a little topping on the bottom, fill half the cone with soft serve and top it, then do the top and add toppings and drizzle it. The soft serve was good but unremarkable. The topping were good but again, just average froyo stuff . I though it was good, but then I got to the cone! That's the star of the show. The cone was delicious. I wish it was bigger and maybe even less ice cream. It's worth trying, it's fun and different. They had fruit filled cones and seems like they change things up frequently. The location is clean, large and sleek feeling. Definitely a good spot for a fun outing.
