I have been going to this Daylight since I was little with my grandma. Going today was out of pure nostalgia, and it was amazing! From the friendly smile at the drive through window offering my dog a treat to the amazing donuts. I love an old fashioned donut, and theirs hit the spot! We also got a variety of others and it may have change my favorite! We asked for filled donuts and got a raspberry jelly, peaches and some sort of cream and a raspberry cream. The filled ones still seemed warm, it was 845am. This might be a new weekend routine! They were so good! The line inside was out the door and the drive through line had several cars, so get there early! read more

Whoever was working the drive through on 03/07/2026 is a sweetheart. I told her how far I drove for the amazing chocolate glaze, and she tossed an extra one for free for us. Simple stuff like that is why we drive 20+ mins for this location. Great stuff!!! read more

So far the best donuts in Utah county. It's not the best donuts I've ever had but it'll do. I loved the convenience of a drive thru. Staff wasn't too friendly but were quick although mixed up our donuts. My fault for not checking but it seemed very rushed as they were busy. read more

THE ONLY REASON WHY I LIKE DAYLIGHT DONUTS. Is they serve Traditional donuts. Not the donuts that give you diabetes. The 1500 grams of sugar the UTAH Residents crave so much.. But actual donuts.. It's like on every corner there's a donut that is TERRIBLE that people who have never been anywhere else in their lives sat.. Best donut ever!! It's not a donut. It's a Crafted Donut that is LOADED with sugar... So glad Daylight gets my business.. because there's ZERO DUNK'N donuts near here.. (25+ miles away is the closest) read more

The donuts are not anything special. The maple bar is a donut not a pastry. They charge 2.99 plus tax for a maple bar. Inflation? No just people getting ripped off. Shame. Pleasent Gove, UT - the highest priced read more

Go early or they might run out! Literally showed up around 10am on a Saturday and they were out of a majority of donut options. Thankfully they had a blueberry cake donut and Boston creme for us. They even gave us an extra donut for the trouble. Honestly they are amazing and I would definitely go again- just maybe come a little earlier. read more

Love supporting this local business! Came on a Friday morning and we got three donuts. Two cake donuts and one raised. The raised donut with chocolate frosting was good and nice and soft. The chocolate cake donut with chocolate frosting was good. There are definitely better chocolate cake donuts in the area but this location is close by. The chocolate frosting is really good and makes up for the lack of softness and flavor from the cake donut. read more

Daylight continues to just put out a good donut. Consistently good and light. I'm a big believer that if you can't do simple well, you're not doing something right. Even their plain glazed donuts and donut holes are yummy. Raspberry bear claw is my personal favorite but I'm game to keep trying more . read more

best donuts in town! fresh every single day. wouldn't eat a donut anywhere else just because these are just too good

A friend of mine raved about their maple bars and since we are maple bar fans, I had to go and investigate. Purchased 4 maple bars and 2 regular size donuts. First off, they charge $1.99 for their maple bars, which is pricey! Our all time favorite donut shop is Cowboy Donuts in Spanish Fork, but today, didn't brave the drive. They are def worth the 45 minutes round trip EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Today, I was cramped for time and settled to come here. Cowboy charges 50 cents less for their maple bars, and quality is far more superior than Daylight donuts. I noticed their regular size donuts are a bit smaller than Cowboys too. The texture of Daylight donuts is a bit more dense than what I'm used to. I took a couple of bites of the maple, a bite of their glazed, and a bite of their chocolate iced. In my opinion, not worth the calories! I consider myself a donut connoisseur - and if you do too, this place is not for you. Lesson learned, just do the drive to Cowboy Donuts if you want quality/superior donuts. The gal who helped me was friendly enough though. I asked her why the maple bars are so expensive, and she said flour prices have gone up, and their donuts are hand made. Well guess what, so is Cowboy Donuts! She argued with me in a friendly way to justify the recent price change. I think people come here because this is what we have in Pleasant Grove, convenience. I gave the rest of the donuts to the kiddos, at their age, they like any donuts. read more

I'm not a donut guy but these donuts are good. The jelly filled donuts have a little extra goodness in them. These are better donuts than the few donuts I've had. read more

Their doughnuts are really good but can not justify going there again as they had no masks. This is sad.

This is, without a doubt, the most kind customer service and best tasting donut shop I've ever visited. I just returned from my first of many visits this morning. Let me tell you a short, meaningful story about this donut store and my father, a veteran, who just passed away last week... My father visited Daylight Donuts every day they were open (6 days a week) for over 10 years. His most common selection was 2 unfrosted cake donuts until October 2017 when he was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer. It was at this point that one of the kind workers at Daylight Donuts suggested maybe it was time that Dad "branch out a bit". She got him to try the raspberry bear claw, which I had this morning and it was DELICIOUS! I and 3 of my 8 siblings each visited and ate a donut in honor or our father. True to form, the owner's granddaughter said, "If my grandpa were here this morning he would give your donuts for no charge!" She then pushed the donuts out the delivery window and said "Have a great day!" I am a big fan of Daylight Donuts. Wonderful tasting donuts, excellent customer service service, and a personal touch! Thanks Daylight Donuts! read more

It was my first time and the lady at the drive thru was so nice and helpful! She explained their menu to me and helped me decide what I wanted. The raspberry cream cheese donut is simply amazing- 10/10 recommend getting that one if you like being happy inside! read more

These are my favorite donuts in the state of Utah. Sometimes I waver between here and the Provo Bakery, but having recently left the state of Utah, there is something nostalgic and classic that makes me yearn for Daylight Donuts. What's good: the strawberry and cream bear claw literally changed my life, that is, I became an obese man eating them (jk). Also, the cake donuts are classic. What's ok: I love a good maple bar, and theirs are just ok, the frosting is too flaky. read more

So let me explain the 2 stars. Yes there donuts taste great and the service was great, but $21.99 for a dozen variety donuts is ridiculous. Now if they were amazing and the best tasting then okay, but there you go they are just okay. Been to LA, New York, all over and have had better donuts for half the price. I understand cost and everything but just 1 maple bar is $2. I was very surprised of the price and the girl working said it was because of the flour cost. Sorry Daylight I have been coming here for years and the prices keep going up. Maceys down the road had donuts for half the price. I will say not as tasty as daylight but not enough to pay double. read more

Once a month we take a group of our church's 12-13 yr olds here after doing service early in the morning to treat them to a doughnut. When we've arrived after 7am, they are sometimes low on the best doughnut on the whole planet: bear claws with a light cream-cheese inner layer and fruit filling. You will want to come back for more, but by the time you do, they will be gone. So if you get there early enough, order as many cream cheese bears claws as you can while the selection is still good. So order lots while the getting is good. Our boys love them so much, they often bring their own money to order a few more. My favorite is raspberry cream, blueberry cream and apricot cream, but there are many other flavors they do this bear claw in. They make specialty fritters, and my son adores their maple "Long Johns". It is a family-owned place, in a little run-down shack, that has been doing the same thing for 20 or 30 years, which says a lot about the quality and service. The owner has an interesting Pez collection that is displayed around the store's glass. Unless our group of 12 boys is in front of you, the service is great and they should have you on your way, with a warm, hand-made doughnut melting in your mouth, within a minute or so of stepping inside, or going through the drive-through. read more

Screw Krispy Kreme. This place is the real deal. No, generic donuts here. It is best to hit this place early in the mornings, as their selection is best. Love, love , love their bear claws and cake donuts. Great mom and pop joint that has been a Pleasant Grove staple for years. read more

Yay.. donuts. These are dang nice tasty donuts. I love them. If you get there early morning you get the freshest. My major complaint with this place is the location. It's a pain in the butt to get in and out of their parking area. There is really no space to sit down and enjoy a donut and coffee either. read more

Not worth the wait! !!!! Waited in the drive through for 30 Minutes. 15 minutes of that we didn't even BUDGE! WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! Hire some more dang employees. ..it's freaking Sat morning at 8am...of course you are swamped. I've watched 6 cars leave behind me. (I only had 3 cars ahead of me to start off with! !!) This is RIDICULOUS!!! The only reason i stay is because my Gram just wanted an Apple fritter for her birthday breakfast! This is the LAST time I show support to a business who doesn't care about my time! ! read more

I am a full journeyman baker. The donuts I tried today were not proofed properly, plus there was no white middle band indicating the donut rose at all in the fryer. Thus the cinnamon twist and maple bar we tried were dense and oily, rather than light and fluffy. If the bakeries I managed produced the yeast raised donuts I saw and tasted today (not the cake donuts - they looked fine) I would've thrown the entire batch out, deeming the unfit to serve. And, from other reviews that discuss the density of these donuts, it appears this is not unusual for this location, anyway. I usually also order a raised glazed donut when checking out a donut shop, but they looked so flat and pitiful that I knew it wouldn't be a good experience. Again, these donuts are so poorly made that if you like them or hate them, it doesn't really mean you like or hate donuts. I encourage the owner to message me if he/she would like to learn more about the bakery trade. read more

Daylight Donuts were awesome... so good. Nutella filled bear claws Yummy. I parked and went inside and out within a couple minutes. Great customer --- normally their busiest time plus it was National Donut Day!!! I felt sorry for the line of cars in Drive-up Window. 4 steps inside= no wait! read more

The donuts are delicious and the workers are an absolute delight! I'm always forcing my dad to bring me bring me there, it's awesome!

I was so excited to see bear claws on their menu! But disappointment soon followed. What they sell as bear claws are not the real deal. Bear claws are supposed to be made out of croissant dough with almond paste or possibly poppy seed filling not doughnut dough with fruit filling. Still on the hunt for real bear claws in Utah County! read more

Yum! A non chain donut joint will alwAys pull me in. This place does not disappoint. Huge donuts and just what is needed on a Saturday morning in fall. read more

No idea how they make their donuts! Instead of focusing on the aesthetically pleasing aspect so much like Krispy Kreme they focus on flavor. The way you get a fluffy donut with a nice crunch on the first bite is awesome! Delicious! read more

YUM! I love these doughnuts, they never disappoint. The cream filled ones are delicious. The normal glazed are so good. They have some really good dough nuts. The Nutella Bear Claw is sooo good. Its got that whole in the wall dough nut shop feel that is awesome and it is great food to top it all off. Just make sure you get there early because they sell the dough nuts until they run out so late risers beware! read more

Very slow at the drive thru. I literally waited for 15 minutes at the drive thru window. The donuts were expensive for what you get. It was my mistake to ask for a half and half variety, and not give specific instructions, because the lady seriously gave me donuts I've never had before, which I think were the least favorites and had been sitting around for forever (no maple bars!). The raspberry fritter which looked the most appealing out of the variety had the texture of a Quaker Rice Cake, seriously! Sad experience. I'm hoping it was just a bad day for them, and will give it another try. I'd give it a 1-star, but gave it 2, since my kids were stoked that I bought donuts this morning. read more

Best cake donuts in business.

These are our FAVORITE donuts in Utah county. We get some most Saturdays! The strawberry cream cheese bear claw and just the plain glazed are my favorites. They run out of all the best donuts by like 11:00 Saturday mornings though so definitely go earlier rather than later. It's worth it! read more

This is a cool little location. It's basically just a drive-thru or walk-up (there's maybe a seat or two if you want to eat there). The donuts are pretty good, too. I actually like the chocolate bars from Macey's better, but these are still tasty. We love looking at the Pez dispensers in the outside window, too. Be sure to get there early though, because they'll definitely sell out of the best donuts. read more

They don't handle a crowd very well and are a little bit expensive for my taste but their donuts taste good and they are conveniently located where I live. read more

I just moved away from Utah and I am missing this place! Their donuts are perfect and they have an amazing variety. My husband says they have the best maple bar in the world and I am more of a chocolate girl but any of the chocolate cake donuts, or raised with chocolate frosting are great for a fix and the chocolate honeybun is phenomenal. Best in Utah County and maybe even in Utah, I'll give them a tie with Banbury Cross in SLC. read more

The donuts aren't always pretty but they taste great and the customer service is amazing.

My kids and I go here every so often to get good donuts, they have a big selection of donuts, yum!

Donuts are one of the three great loves of my life: pizza, donuts, and my husband. (But not always in that order.) My family has been going to the Daylight Donuts location in Pleasant Grove for almost 20 years, and I can honestly say that my love for donuts began when I had my first Daylight Donuts maple bar at the age of 6. I have tried donuts at upward of 100 different places, and I have yet to find ANYWHERE with better donuts. I mean seriously...their maple bars and donut holes are to die for! I have never had a bad experience here with food, customer service, or parking, which is very impressive considering the number of times I've stopped by. However, this wouldn't be an honest review if I didn't bring up the only downside I've noticed about this place: this is a small store, and occasionally, they are a little overcrowded. The line inside can be out the door, or even backed up all the way to the street for the drive-through window. This tends to happen on Saturday mornings. I would suggest getting there early in the morning or maybe around lunchtime on Saturdays, or going on a different day of the week. Thank you to the wonderful ladies and gentlemen who have worked here over the past 20 years. You have changed my life! :) Trust me, folks...you will not be disappointed in this place. read more
