Yum! Every doughnut here was delicious. FYI, they also sell sourdough, hot dog bread (Paris Baguette style), and so much more good stuff. I don't normally love cake doughnuts but these were soooo crispy and delicious! Filling flavors were spot-on. Service was friendly and helpful. This is a great doughnut spot.

Some of the valley's best donuts. A bit pricey, but good. They have what has been proclaimed as the best cronut in America by the Underground Donut Tour of 2023. At $4.50 a pop, I would believe it. I'm not a fan of the cronut. It's an underwhelming pastry. But Donut Star Cafe does it right. It's the first cronut I've ever tasted that made me say "I really like it!" All their other donuts are most excellent, too. Just a bit expensive. I'm on the quest to find a great donut here since moving to the valley. The best donuts on the planet were in Tucson where I lived for 14 years at K Donut Wheel on Wilmot. The best. The donuts here come 99% close. That's pretty good. But the prices make it difficult for me to return. I think I need to go back and try that cronut again to make sure it wasn't my imagination... :-) 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

First time here and it's a SUNDAY! Praise! Lots of parking. Super nice gentlemen who helped us choose our donuts. Try to Cronuts by having cronut holes. We all enjoyed what we tried. Bring cash to save a little bit! We will be back.

Solid donut spot with all the classics! Both of the guys working were also very nice and we got bagel sandwiches as well that were pretty good. It's not anything fancy, but it checks the boxes it needs to check.

Never disappoints. Except when we order online. Everytime we order online and come in it's never ready and they have to check their system and then it's like oh ya we do have an order. So don't count on the online. Otherwise I haven't had a bad donut. Breakfast sandwiches are good.

You can ask any of my close friends and they'll tell you I'm a sucker for the Donut Star in Draper. I absolutely love their donuts. High quality, fresh fried/baked and available anytime of the day. So when I saw that they had opened another location less than 5 minutes from my house, I had to go get a box. No surprise, the SoJo location is just as great as the Draper shop. Friendly staff, clean tables, and fresh donuts available at 3:00 in the afternoon. These guys know how to donut.

I fell in love with Donut Star in Draper, so just imagine my delight when they opened a location near me in South Jordan. Hooray for donuts! These are fresh and delicious and the service is friendly. You can get your treats to go or stay and enjoy them on site.

Amazing cinnamon and orange rolls and perfect donuts! Also home of the huge oversized donut and cinnamon roll! Amazing food, service was fun! The ambiance smells really good! The place has drinks and fountain drinks but don't leave without the cinnamon roll!!!

Bryce returned my call right away and was great at getting my event on the calendar and answering my questions about guests with food allergies. After my initial call, they recommended I come in for a free sampler which was very nice since I'd never tried their food before. The food is amazing - you can visit their storefront in West Jordan to have lunch with a limited menu of their catering options ($4 entrees, $2 sides, includes a fresh roll). Their restaurant is cozy and clean and tidy, with a small seating area in the back. They do a brisk lunch business on weekdays from 11am-2pm for the local business crowds and most people pick it up and eat elsewhere. For the sampler, we tried the Buttercrumb chicken, chicken cordon Bleu, Hawaiian shredded pork, lemon chicken, rice pilaf and red roasted potatoes - our favorites were the Buttercrumb, cordon Bleu, and the pork. We also ordered lunch so we could try a few more things - the chicken enchiladas are FULL of chicken and so yummy and rich, salad was nice and fresh and the dressings were delicious, and the rolls are soft and fluffy. They have an enormous catering selection, including buffets with breakfast, lunch, and dinner options from a variety of cuisines (including prime rib, lasagna, enchiladas, salmon, taco bar, BBQ, orange chicken, etc.) and all the add-ons (drinks, desserts, side dishes) you need. All their meals are served as self-serve buffets and include disposable plates, napkins, utensils, chaffing dishes and serving utensils, so these are great for more casual setups. The table cloth they bring is a black faux-cloth plastic but is nice for easy cleanup. You can use your own linens if you prefer. The only small glitches I experienced were some funny communication mishaps - i.e. I got an email from an employee asking me to call with my credit card, and the number I called had a full voicemail so I couldn't leave a message so we played phone tag for a few days. Not a big deal. For our event, we decided to serve the Buttercrumb chicken with mashed potatoes for lunch - which was so affordable at only $8.95/person. All catering includes fresh green salad with two house-made dressings (a vinaigrette that is also gluten-free, and a delicious house ranch), and fresh-baked rolls and butter. They also provided 5 servings of gluten-free chicken in a small chafing dish clearly labeled, which my attendees told me was delicious. I also had many attendees make a special note in our conference follow-up survey that they loved the food! I appreciated the clear pricing and options on the website so I could plan ahead for our budget. They are clear about tax, delivery fee, and base order requirements. The pricing is competitive with other companies but I think they offer larger portion sizes. We had a good amount of leftovers from the main dish, side, salad, and rolls, and I was glad nobody at my event left hungry. You can also opt to pick up and save yourself the delivery fee but the service of them setting up all the chafing dishes and utensils and plates, and then coming to pick up all their dishes after is totally worth paying for. The lady (Bryce's wife) who dropped off/picked up was prompt, came back right when she said she would, and was polite and friendly. She was setting up inside the conference room and was quiet and quick, a real professional. They told me when we ordered that we could keep the leftovers so we brought dishes/Ziplocs for that. Very pleased with the level of professionalism and quality of food from Catering by Bryce. We've already recommended them to others and will be happy to use them again for events in the future.

It took serious willpower to stop eating and go talk to our guests, and then I wanted to circle back. My mom still wants the chicken recipe, and not only the salmon and rolls, but the vegetables were amazing too! Second: since it was COVID, we had to switch from buffet-style to fully catered, which obviously is a price jump. Angela was so helpful and worked with us to modify the menu so we could get it to an acceptable price--and it was so reasonable. Her staff came and served the food. We were kind of running late ourselves, but they helped it run smoothly. She also recommended cheaper options for desserts, and made specialty cookies and delicious peach lemonade to match our theme! I'm so so glad we hired her. 100% would hire again, and will do so for our next catering need! *Unfortunately we didn't get many food pictures :( Here was the salad and drinks/table setup.

Easy to order online, gave us good pick up instructions, and everything came packed really nicely. The good: - Pricing was extremely reasonable for what we ordered, especially around a holiday. - Side dishes were fantastic. Simple things like craisins and cheese in the salad, excellent corn mix, and red skin mashed potatoes made the meal a huge hit. - Packaging. Everything came in good, foil pans with tight lids. I have a Cambro so it packed nicely in there to keep the hot foods hot. The "meh": Honestly, the ribs were not fantastic. Good, basic, "fall off the bone" (AKA cooked to far) ribs. A rub was non existent and the sauce they put on was really bland. I was in the minority of folks that didn't care for them which leads me to give them that 4th star up there. Apparently they do all kinds of catering and "meals ready to go" out of the Warehouse 22 Event Center in Syracuse. Looking forward to giving them more business in the futire.

Here is a full story: We initially chose them because their event coordinator Amanda was very responsive on all communication and the meals they presented on tasting. Amanda remained professional which we felt grateful. However, the food that we actually got served on the wedding day was not the same. The chicken was very moist, saucy, and bigger portion during the tasting, but on the day was dry and small. During the tasting, we were amazed on this pesto mash potato that they created for us, which was one of the reasons that we decided on their service, was not even served on the wedding day. They offered to refund the cost of the potato and some of the chicken to us, which was appreciated. The other part of their service that needs improvement is the bar-tending service. We had an open bar and we purchased a considerable amount of alcohol, thinking that they will last the whole night. However, when it was the time for our champagne toast, my husband and I did not even get any champagne because they were out already... From our guests, we learned that the portion of the drinks that were served was not handled professionally. Overall, I'd still recommend to at least give them a call if you are looking for a catering service because they were being responsive and responsible.
