Spudly "store" front in weird Lehi business complex location.
    Christopher D.

Long drive to their "ghost kitchen" (their staff calls it that) in a weird location in business complex clear up in Lehi. Inside is an office, not a donut store/display. Overpriced & limited store hours. No delivery to Provo/Orem. Service is polite & friendly. Saving grace: DELICIOUS spudnuts! My favs are the filled spudnuts like Boston Crème.

I was looking for a place to try donuts in the Lehi area and Spudly Donuts kept popping up as a recommended spot for me, so I gave them a try. They're located in a peculiar area and their shop isn't set up like a standard donut shop. I walked in and ordered four donuts: a maple, a glazed, a churro, and a strawberry. The gal working the counter then left around the corner to collect the donuts. The glazed donut was by far my favorite, especially when warmed up. These are rich and dense but hit the spot! If I lived closer, I'd be there more frequently.

The donuts themselves were great and the employees were pretty pleasant when I went in, but ultimately I think it wasn't really for me. They're a new location though so I'm excited to see how they decide to grow and expand. Right now it's just a single-room venue to drop by for quick takeout. A little too pricey and I wish they had more variety. If you're looking for something unique and sweet then this is perfect and you will definitely be satisfied and it's worth trying it out. It might even become your new favorite! It seems they're competing more with places like Chip or Crumble which have similar business models rather than competing with a local bakery. Meaning, they have 4 standard spudnut options and 4 monthly options that will rotate out. Maybe they're just going for a faster, simpler alternative to a large bakery with dozens of options. I think if I'm looking for donuts I'll probably keep going to other locations nearby but only because I can get the exact donut I want somewhere with more variety. I'm a sucker for white frosting with sprinkles, a pretty standard donut, and was a little bummed they didn't have one here.

Salted caramel, birthday cake, peanut butter cup (filled), maple donuts

This is the cutest mom and pop donut shop! There isn't any seating, so plan for a picnic or take home. We tried the peanut butter cup, birthday cake, salted caramel, and maple donuts - every single one was a HIT! The donut itself has a nice crunch to the outside (fried perfectly) and a fluffy, yet dense, interior (fluffier than a cake donut, but denser than a yeast donut). It was about $10 for 4 donuts (totally reasonable for a small shop with hand made donuts!) We will definitely be back!!

Spudly donuts are delicious! I've had them multiple times and will keep going back! I'm usually a topping/big flavor type for donuts but for these the "plain" ones are my favorite. The simple glaze is probably my all time favorite. The maple is also really good! They have had a limited Boston Cream, that is also really good! My one complaint would be the interesting location and the price of the donuts.

They're pretty good! It's all the same donut with different toppings. I understand that's how they normally are. I was really hoping the chocolate donut would be like a chocolate cake donut! Pick up was in like a warehouse and that was a little weird. But anything works! I had the most amazing potato donuts that I still dream of in Maine! (The Holy Donut) they did a variety of cake donuts and regular! I still dream of the cake ones. Truly heavenly! Hopefully Utah's shops will start to expand their types & flavors!

We got the glazed, chocolate, churro, maple and salted caramel!!

A hidden gem in Lehi!! These are SO good! Definitely a must try they're also opening a location in Lindon soon! The salted caramel was our fav

Heavenly doesn't begin to describe these donuts. We got a huge pack of donuts and devoured them. The donuts have an amazing texture. They are somehow heavy and light at the same time. It's absolutely wonderful. They can a great assortment of classic flavors with some seasonal items too. I'm so freaking happy to have a donut shop close that finally taste better than crispy crème.

I liked the spudnuts. It's a different type of dough, but very tasty. Little store front in an industrial area. Probably won't return

Donut was fresh tasting. This place is very hard to find and poor signage. Donut was twice the price as Lehi donuts.

You won't find a better donut in the area. My only question is, why aren't potato donuts the default? They're so rich and hearty.

Another thing that was a huge turnoff was as the amount of gnats flying around. My guess is there is rotting food near the booths we were sitting in. The weather is cold, doors weren't wide open so something was attracting them. Restroom was clean and a small but decent sized parking lot.
