Oh, you so fancy Harmon's. I mean, this is not only a really big location, but also a really nice one. I've found myself here a bunch over the last few months, and it continues to impress. Besides being a normal grocery store, I thought I'd just point out a few of the not-so-normal things you find: Upstairs cafe seating. I can grab some food and head up there to work. There's a fireplace. Lots of seating. Look out over the vast grocery empire and be impressed. Cooking school. I've not done a class here, but I have seen them going on. Cake decorating, ethnic food, whatever it is, they always look fun and interesting. Salad bar. Massive and a pay-by-the-ounce situation. Gelato. Yup, that's what I'm talking about. They're super nice, and if you've not tried that blood orange or that pink grapefruit, who even are you? Fancy products. More than other grocers they have made a really strong effort to get imported goods, as well as a focus on local food purveyors. As a result, you can usually find more variety here. Bulk foods. Finally, a ton of bulk foods that you can buy by weight, instead of having to get a massive pre-packed container. So, with all that stuff being awesome, and the location being beautiful, you do have to realize that you're paying the rent. I used to shrug off people who said Harmon's is more expensive. It felt like it all came out in the wash, if you hit sales, and shopped smart. But it's really just true. After shopping elsewhere for a while (convenience, whatcha gonna do?) I notice it plainly. Harmon's is my absolute FAVORITE grocery store. Is it weird to have a favorite grocery store? Probably. But I don't care! I tend to do my usual grocery shopping at cheaper, widely-known chains. So whenever I go to Harmon's, I can tell a huge difference from the moment I walk in. First off, it FEELS different. It's very clean, and it doesn't feel like you're in a warehouse with shelves. They have an AMAZING produce section. My Caesar salads are always top-notch when I buy my romaine from Harmon's. All other produce I've bought from this location has been great as well! Harmon's also makes incredible bread. It's tricky to find good, European-style bread with crunchy crust, but I can find it here! Along with other delicious baked goods. I also love their deli, cheese, and meat sections. They have so much more than your average grocery store! Everyone needs to try Harmon's! read more

First, let me say, that Nothing Bundt Cakes is amazing! And I wish this company nothing but a beautiful prosperous new year in 2024! My experience was concerning regarding the service. My pregnant daughter-in-law and I visited the store in American Fork in early November. I think it was on a Monday. A lovely young lady waited on us. We were inquiring about an order for the baby shower. The young lady was very helpful. She let us know what we could order and how to order. We bought every flavor of the bundtinis and said we would come back to place an order. The baby shower was on December 2nd. My daughter-in-law came back and ordered 3 dozen bundtinis. The baby shower theme was bears and bees. Our colors were a color scheme of yellow, tan, brown, and white, so the order needed to be specific in color (which is what we were told we could do). We wanted the Snickerdoodle, vanilla, and lemon. The order was picked up on the morning of December 2nd and brought to the venue. We opened the boxes and we were given chocolate, red velvet, and lemon. I asked my daughter-in-law, what happened? She was told that was all that the store made or had for that day. I was furious! However, we had purchased vanilla cupcakes from Harmon's also, so we made the best of it. A week later, I was still a little soar about the purchase. If we had any idea we could not order specific bundts, we would have ordered more cupcakes for the occasion. I stopped by the store and spoke to another lovely employee named Marie. I told her what happened with the order and she was very compassionate and understood. She took my information and assured me that the manager would reach out and call me. To date, I've never heard back from anyone. I've worked in Catering, Hospitality, and Customer Service for 40 years. Always remember, customers come and go. You can always fix an order. But, a catering order? For a special occasion? You only get ONE shot to get it right! If you want Nothing Bundt Cakes to be number 1 in customer service, please, never mess up a catered order for a special occasion. The baby shower was lovely but I'll always remember the bundtinis, and the fact that a manager NEVER called me back. Sad face. Follow your mission! Stay on your game! Get it right! Best wishes! Wow this store has got it going on!! Very clean, huge selection, and amazing produce and meats. They also have larger selections of natural health and beauty items than other Utah grocers, which I appreciate. They have a really great selection in their floral department for gifts or just flowers in general. read more

Apparently this is Harmon's new flagship location and it's massive. Of course with the large size comes a huge crowd. I stopped in for lunch and found the Chinese line too long, so I switched to the salad bar. $7.99 a pound. Their containers are deceptively large and you need to be careful you don't walk off with a $15 salad for lunch (2 co-workers just did that). I went with a small salad for $5 with salmon, sushi and buffalo chicken. The sushi was of course terrible, the salmon and chicken were great though. For fresh cooked/baked things they are excellent. Bagels and donuts are awesome. They have a good variety of breads and desserts as well. Gelato is also very good. For usual groceries go elsewhere. Smith's will pretty much always beat the prices on mass market groceries. It's a good store though and will hopefully have the crowds die down soon. Nice to have in the area. read more

Higher end grocery store with a nice deli, cafe and bakery counters. They had more unique items then your regular chain grocery store. The deli counter had quite the selection and same with the breads. Gelato and pastries looked good as well. My kids tried the donuts and loved them. Oh and cooking classes too. I don't think I would just come for a regular grocery visit since it's out of the way. Oh we went on a Saturday morning and it was not crowded at all. read more

This is the newest harmons in town and it does not disappoint. It not only keeps up to harmons brand name but also ups the ante by a notch when it comes to being classy in appearance and presentation of its products right from produce to cosmetics. While the product core is same as any harmons of which i am a fan of anyway, what really changes the game possibly for the harmons in this location is the fact that this harmons presents the products in a unique way with a inverted cone or funnel shaped stand for presenting its bananas which does 2 things as seen in one of my pictures. It does 2 things straight away, it attracts whoever passes by through its sheer presentation but also maintains freshness of the banana by leaving it hanging like it would be on a banana tree. It is things like this and general outlook of this harmons store that sets it a class apart from other harmons in town. The crowd justifies it too with people as far as murray coming in to pay this harmons a visit just to taste their gelatos, athough it remains to be seen if this crowd will persist or if it was the initial curiosity that caused this crowd as i have not seen such crowds mill through other harmons stores around town. Products quality still top notch, so no complaints there as well. There is added bonus of this one being an easy commute for myself. Location is in one of the hottest upcoming locations near SR-92 and is likely to pull in crowd from suncrest, traverse mountain and visitors to nearby amazing outlet mall and hence again a win. There also seems to be a lot of promising restaurants coming as well making visitors to these restaurants also potential harmons customer. So altogether a winner in making from a business perspective for me and hence the 5 stars. read more

I have been back twice (though no longer live incthe area) and I have not seen the dreaded lady. It is possible self-checkout is again safe to visit at this location. Really love the bulk section. Although they used to have chopped dates by themselves ($4.99 lb) instead of in the trail mix area (8.99lb) not to worry, leave the code off and tell them it's 2163 for the non listed $4.99 price. This review is for the pharmacy - I was visiting out of town and the person at the pharmacy (female with silver hair) refused to help me, told me to call my insurance, and walked away saying she had other things to do. When I got back 5 minutes later, another person happily helped me, but I'm disappointed that I couldn't be helped sooner and that the other worker was rude and unhelpful. read more

Top-Notch grocery store. My Wife and I shop here frequently for the high-quality food items and delicious deli food. It's a great spot for salad bar, sushi, specialty meats and cheeses and a whole lot more. It's a beautiful store inside and out and the service has always been great. I've been here a few times because it's now the closest grocery store to me, but whenever possible I try to go farther down Timp Highway to Smith's. It's not that this is a bad grocery store because it's actually really nice looking and very pleasant inside, it's just that I don't want to pay $70 for a meat platter or something like that. If we need 1-2 normal things (paper plates or we found they have frozen Gyoza here and we didn't see any at Smith's) then sure we'll stop in, but honestly I don't see why else I would come here. Four years ago Harmons opened a new location near my home in Lehi. I have had the following experiences as a customer: 1) Hair in my hamburger patty. 2) Glass in my iron man salad (chipped a tooth which required a trip to the dentist and hundreds of dollars in work). 3) Hair in my gelato. 4) Most recently I was falsely accused of shoplifting because I failed to keep my receipt from a coffee purchased from their bistro. Your store is very pretty and the concept of it all is quite cool but I will never step foot in a Harmons again. I will be sure to share my experiences with as many people as I can. read more

I would come here a lot more frequently if it wasn't for the prices, but hey - you get what you pay for! Harmon's does not offer subpar service. The food is almost always fresh, especially during lunch hours. They have a $5-6 daily special (entrée, two sides, a cookie and a large fountain drink with unlimited refills) that is usually filling and delicious. They will continue to have my business for lunch; I just wouldn't go there to buy snacks or other groceries that I could find at Wal Mart or Smith's for a couple bucks cheaper. read more

I LOVE Harmons... and I LOVE this particular location. Their lunch options are delicious, their cooking school is amazing, and the grocery options are endless. Not to mention that their pickup option is hard to beat. They only sell the highest quality meats, bread, and cheeses. Also, did you know that they will let you sample ANYTHING?! I expect to be upgrading to 4-5 stars, but this Harmon's either has startup pains, or it is not going to be a Harmon's I go to. It is a virtual clone of the store just over Point of the Mountain at Bangerter Crossing except for shelving like downtown. While it's just up the road from where I work at Thanksgiving Park, there is a lot of traffic to negotiate to get there. Once there, it's a great big nice new store. So, with all the huge full aisles, why can't I find a number of items they always carry at the Orchard store in Orem that is closest to my house? I get frustrated at some of the specialty items I can get North of the Point that they will only get by special order. I liked the idea that this store might be a place to stop by on my way home. It wouldn't be further out of my way than going to the Orchard store. I certainly saw that the cheese and cured meat section was the big nice one. There was more nice cuts of meat in the case. I've not seen such nice lamb chops in the case at other places. As I was checking to see if Veal might make a showing South of Salt Lake, there was nothing. However, an employee said it was coming. If so, score. Hopefully, that's the issue with other items. No duck or goose. No Liberte yogurt. I buy those pretty regularly. The checkout was painfully slow with multiple mistakes. The bagger was having trouble figuring out how to put things in the reusable cloth bags. I expect they new checkout will get better. For now, it's OK, but it's not ready for prime time yet. I love going here for high quality food. They have great selections! The meat department is awesome. I got some nice steaks and brats, they were amazing and quite reasonably priced. The steak were perfectly marbled. I think they were some of the best quality I've ever bought from a grocery store in my life. I love coming here. It is slightly more expensive, but the service and quality is levels above walmart or winco. Smiths doesn't even come close to this location. read more

I love Harmon's. I love the breads most of all: the sourdough, the baguette, the fougasse. If you buy five, you get a free loaf. Awesome. The service is great. The prices are competitive, although the produce and meat are higher quality and therefore pricier. The Foodie Club gives great discounts now and then. My first week on the program I picked up $25 of stuff for less than a tenner with all my sign-up bonuses. The sandwiches here are superb. read more

While the quality of ingredients is great, the prepped food is not. I spent nearly 30 dollars on their premade dinners. You would figure spending that amount of money, you'd get a quality product...... well you don't. The marinara on their chicken Parmesan had zero flavor, and reeked of oregano, you would figure they would use some salt. But after eating it you realize their more concerned about having health facts than they are having flavor. The same story was had for the chicken cordon blue I bought as well. Usually in cordon blue the chicken is yet again -seasoned-, filled with ham, and a cheese or sauce. Yeah that didn't happen. After cooking it off I sliced it open and had 2 tiny slices of ham, and no cheese or sauce. Bland as bland could be. If I could leave a 0 I would. I was not allowed to enter the store due to not wearing a mask. The employee(mask police) screamed at me to stop when I entered. I politely told her that I was not wearing a mask for religious and medical reasons. The store manager Ryan came over and I explained the same thing to him. He said I could shop online. I told him I wanted to shop inside the store and he said I could not enter. I asked him if he was ok with violating my civil rights and going against the ADA policy for discriminating against someone for medical reasons. His response " I guess so. There's the door" WOW! This store is very large and very nice and fancy! I love how they also serve food here so people work up in the area can get there food on there break. Like how deli meats has its own counter. The wonderful selection in meats and seafood. Only thing is when it come to the aisles I find there set up very confusing! Most stores will put similar items by similar items but there's seems all sorts of whack. Also it can be a high price to pay there for some items. In the produce the lights are so duel, I know there trying to highlight the fruits and veggies but I hate it. Feels so dark in that part of the store. Last is its hard to get to. The area is extremely over crowded and busy so driving up that way can be a nightmare. read more

By far the classiest grocery stores I have ever been in. I was not expecting this location to be as nice as it was. Harmons has a huge selection of specialty products like imported cheeses and sections of food for people with dietary restrictions. Their bakery and deli are huge! Ordered the fried chicken from the deli. It was so old and hard. I thought I was going to break a tooth trying to eat it. This harmons is my favorite grocery store by a country mile. Every time I step foot in this store I am wowed by incredible customer service, friendly and now familiar faces, incredible selection of high quality food options, and a cafe with the best coffee in lehi. I hear people complain that harmons is more expensive than some other grocery stores, which is valid, but I would happily pay more to shop at this store any day of the week. I pay more because harmons is simply superior to the other options in town,and I pay more for the customer experience I get here. Their prepped food is NOT fresh. Last week all of their premade salads had surpassed the sell by date by a day. Some of them even had mold! Their mashed potatoes tasted sour even though it was before the sell by date. This has happened to me multiple times at this location, even with various items of big brand names. Stopped by the store for a salad at their fresh salad bar and was amazed at the variety of foods they had. This is a good grocery store. I like supporting local business and harmons works with a lot of locals, so I come here for particular foods and skincare items on my weekly list. They have really good artisan foods like seasonal pineapple salsa, great local cheeses, boar's head, fresh breads, and a fantastic seafood selection. They carry a ton of gluten-free products, which I appreciate. I also like their beauty and bath section. My only problem with this store is the price. Most of their items are pretty overpriced, by a significant amount... My weekly groceries (including organics and natural foods) cost $130 at smith's; when I buy the same groceries at harmon's, with the same/similar brands and items, I end up spending $200 or more. This is a good 'short list' grocery store; I just can't buy all my groceries here due to the prices. read more
