Lots of homes being built and this particular location doesn't seem too busy yet. In fact, the parking lot was pretty empty and the store itself wasn't crowded at all. Kind of enjoyed shopping without bumping into people. Loved the deals! Monica was right about signing up for their emails to hear about special promotions or events. Really bummed we missed their Easter activity! Anyway, the aisles are spacious and clean. The shelves are well stocked with a variety of items. Happy to have found a few of my favorite things here!

I think I bought the last one on the shelf yesterday-sorry about that. Hopefully they get a new shipment soon. I love local businesses and I'm glad to see that this small store found a home in Herriman. It isn't the vast "super center" that many of us are used to shopping in, but they do carry the necessities. I love the vibe here (can a grocery store have a 'vibe'?) and I don't feel stressed or rushed when I'm browsing the aisles, appreciating the cool things I find here that I might not find elsewhere.

Love me some WinCo Foods…read more I was just in to take a peek. I shopped at the one in Henderson Nevada and if you shopped there you know whats up. If you're not familiar with WinCo well let me tell you it's big like WM but prices like WM used to have with way more options for food, a section dedicated to the foods for special diets, keto, non gmo, organic etc... then there's to meat department and offers delicious cooked items like fried chicken, strips, thick jojo potatoes, roast chicken, etc... the team was very sweet and helpful. The bakery is huge offering a large variety of baked items and popcorn/snacks. I have nothing but positive experiences so a 5 it is... Support your local employee owned businesses!

I've been eagerly awaiting the opening of this new Winco while watching it being built for the past…read morefew months. I waited a few days while the crowds dissipated a bit, and went to check it out. The first thing I noticed was the shopping carts. Yeah, they're new, so of course they won't have wonky wheels or sticky handles. But they are plastic, not metal, which makes them lighter weight and easier to push (in my humble, non-grocery cart connoisseur opinion). As I was entering the store, I noticed that traffic is guided in a very specific direction. You have to follow the crowd down the first aisle. No biggie, except when the slow lady in front of everyone is taking up a lot of space, blocking the way for the people behind her. Once I got past her, I was able to roam freely up and down the aisles as I desired. They were good sized-in fact, rather long. When you commit to one, plan to be there awhile. The layout is ok. Although I was on the hunt for cheese and assumed that I'd find it in the "dairy" section, which was clearly labeled and I saw it from the other end of the store. But when I got over there, I learned that the cheese was a few aisles away. No biggie, I found it. Checkout was friendly-my cashier was nice, but confused when I handed her my reusable bags. She placed them on the conveyor belt and looked at me weird. Oops-you're supposed to bag your own groceries. I'm totally down for this, just didn't realize that's how it works. They don't take credit cards, only cash, check (what's a check) and debit cards. This alone might be the reason I won't convert from my current store to this one. Sure, the prices are good-but not being able to use my credit card is a bummer. Overall, if you're a bargain shopper-this is a great place for you. Especially since the other nearby grocery stores are pretty expensive. I'll probably pop back in here and there when there are sales that I can't pass up.

The roll was SOOOO thin that I couldn't even pick it up with chop sticks without the pieces completely falling apart. I used to be full before I could finish the plate. Not anymore. At all Harmons stores, it is always a pleasure to shop. They have items that you do not find at other grocery stores. They have an upscale deli that has many delicious items. The bakery is great and they have a bread slicing service for free with any of their loaves. Their gift section is actually very nice with wonderful products. They have a whole large wall-like display by the cash registers of nothing but gourmet chocolates. Everything they do here is top notch. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? Stay away at all costs!

It smacks you right between the eyes the moment you walk in. Second, this place is mismanaged from top to bottom. Been frequenting Smiths for 30+ years, never once been 'carded' to purchase a lighter. The old lady cashier openly discriminating against me refused to sell to me, even though I am near 50, and visibly so. A young female manager standing nearby stated that lighters are a restricted item 'requiring' ID. Instead of recognizing that I am clearly well above the age for purchasing, she states she cannot make an exception. So I ask to file a complaint. While I wait, an elderly female bagger who clearly has mental issues and can't paint in the lines with the ridiculous makeup on her face starts running her mouth, insulting my attempt to file a complaint. Then an older, ignorant and hostile female manager derails my report and attempts to trivialize and and discredit my complaint saying, "It's not her (the young female managers) fault. Something I never stated. Then, a young male manager appears from nowhere, gets right up in my face and attempts to intimidate me, yelling in my face telling me to leave. No discourse, no dialog, just openly hostile with feeble attempts to intimidate me, over me questioning their 'practices' and trying to file a complaint. Squaring up like he is going to do something (which was hilarious because this effeminate man was about intimidating as undercooked French toast). Unprofessional and near assault, over a lighter and a complaint. There is a dramatic lack of customer service, overall management and operation of this store. The smell of mold should have been enough. From the cashier to the supposed managers, NONE of them should be employed here. This wasn't about proper procedure, it was precisely about discrimination. This store should close. Absolutely ridiculous.
