First time today going into a traders joes store and the customer service experience was amazing. I came in just for flowers and when waiting in line one of the cashiers came up to me and said he could help me and asked me about my day and I told him I've never been here before and I just saw online you guys have a flower selection and then he asked if I wanted a bucket for the flowers and I said sure "I didn't know it was free and they put water in them..which was a bonus, he also gave me a free bag. I'm definitely coming back to do some grocery shopping. That first experience was amazing. Sold me right there. Wish I got that young man's name. He is the reason I'll be back. 10/06/24 10:40am

They can spot a Hawaii traveler, and they smile because they know we're not eating ALL those snacks....we're taking it to our family and friends in the island! That's what happens when TJ's doesn't have a location in Hawaii. We were so excited to see TJ's open in this location! There's lots of parking and the aisles are wide. Incredible amount of staff available to help you find items. Upon entry, you're greeted with beautiful flowers. All varieties of potted plants or cut stems, these make great gifts. Today we were surprised to see protea which reminds us of the farm on Maui :) As always, the produce is fresh. They have substantial supply of vegan and gluten free products. Our family really looks forward to seasonal snacks! We get easily saddened when TJ's runs out of ube mochi mix LOL Thank you for opening this new location. Though it could be a blessing or a curse LOL we'll be shopping at TJ's often!

Welcome to Draper, Trader Joe's! So many people have eagerly awaited your arrival, and now that you're finally here, the neighborhood social media threads can turn back to other, less exciting topics than "when is Trader Joe's opening?" I'm not certain, but I think this location might be a bit larger than the Sugerhouse location-so neener, neener to the folks who had the store first. The variety is fantastic and the service is amazing-as always! Truth be told, I may stop by just for a friendly smile and brief conversation, even if I don't need any groceries. Well done, my friends. I'll see you soon.

Trader Joe's is my favorite place to grocery shop. I always pick up flowers each time I go. I feel like the Draper location has a pretty good variety of flowers compared to the Utah county store. Their produce is always excellent. I tried some of their marinated chicken this time, and they are always adding new foods. The prices are good, and I will definitely keep going back.

Pretty excited for this new location. And with that being said I think everyone else was as well. The store was super busy but, the store is now plenty big enough and well stocked. The employees make sure you can find everything you need and a few things you probably don't. Haha They keep the store well stocked, and are constantly replacing inventory. I love to cruise the aisles looking for new treats I have tried before. Being so close to home I'll be there often.

I love everything about here! The Mac and cheese is my favorite and so are the small cones. And I just picked up a plant and I'm excited for it to grow! The people are always friendly and attentive. It's been pretty busy any time I've gone in but I get through the lines pretty quick.

At all Harmons stores, it is always a pleasure to shop. They have items that you do not find at other grocery stores. They have an upscale deli that has many delicious items. The bakery is great and they have a bread slicing service for free with any of their loaves. Their gift section is actually very nice with wonderful products. They have a whole large wall-like display by the cash registers of nothing but gourmet chocolates. Everything they do here is top notch. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. It smacks you right between the eyes the moment you walk in. Second, this place is mismanaged from top to bottom. Been frequenting Smiths for 30+ years, never once been 'carded' to purchase a lighter. The old lady cashier openly discriminating against me refused to sell to me, even though I am near 50, and visibly so. A young female manager standing nearby stated that lighters are a restricted item 'requiring' ID. Instead of recognizing that I am clearly well above the age for purchasing, she states she cannot make an exception. So I ask to file a complaint. While I wait, an elderly female bagger who clearly has mental issues and can't paint in the lines with the ridiculous makeup on her face starts running her mouth, insulting my attempt to file a complaint. Then an older, ignorant and hostile female manager derails my report and attempts to trivialize and and discredit my complaint saying, "It's not her (the young female managers) fault. Something I never stated. Then, a young male manager appears from nowhere, gets right up in my face and attempts to intimidate me, yelling in my face telling me to leave. No discourse, no dialog, just openly hostile with feeble attempts to intimidate me, over me questioning their 'practices' and trying to file a complaint. Squaring up like he is going to do something (which was hilarious because this effeminate man was about intimidating as undercooked French toast). Unprofessional and near assault, over a lighter and a complaint. There is a dramatic lack of customer service, overall management and operation of this store. The smell of mold should have been enough. From the cashier to the supposed managers, NONE of them should be employed here. This wasn't about proper procedure, it was precisely about discrimination. This store should close. Absolutely ridiculous.

I always have to contact customer service and get a credit. It is nice I can get a credit, but on top of the lengthy time you have to search for relevant digital coupons, it is annoying you have to spend more time contacting customer service to fix their mistakes. Produce is often sketchy at this location too. With bad spots, rotten produce amongst the fresh, and produce that never ripens, or goes bad within a day or two of bringing it home. Items are frequently out of stock. Both sale items and regular items. Employees can rarely be found, except the ones that are shopping for customers and they don't want to answer your questions because they have to shop in a specific amount of time and get on to the next customer they are shopping for. Shelves are dirty frequently. I reported a shelf as sticky 4 weeks in a row and it never got cleaned. I gave up reporting it. But this store is better than the really overpriced one down the street and is really the only other one in the area. So I continue to go.
