If you're in San Francisco, it's absolutely worth circling the block twice to find parking for That's My Jam. Their incredible drinks, elevated breakfast favorites, and genuinely welcoming staff make it a must-stop every time I'm in the city. It's one of those places that never disappoints, and I look forward to coming back every chance I get. The lattes are spectacular, but if there's one thing I always recommend, it's the TCHO hot chocolate. Chef Mark's fine dining expertise is noticeable in every dish as he has the incredible ability to make the ordinary feel exceptional. You'll know exactly what I mean the moment you try the whipped cream. Every ingredient is incredibly fresh and very high in quality as they get their ingredients from the many of the same suppliers utilized by the local Michelin-starred restaurants. The plating is just as thoughtful as the food itself. Every sauce, garnish, and component is intentional, with nothing out of place. Every element serves a purpose and complements the dish as a whole. This visit, I treated myself to the morel quiche, and it completely exceeded my expectations. The filling had the most incredible texture that was beautifully silky and felt more like a set custard than what I typically have experienced with quiche. The crust was beautifully flaky and crisp, creating the perfect contrast with the delicately firm center. I had to stop Nadia and ask how they achieved that texture, and she immediately offered to have Chef Mark walk me through the process, knowing how much I love to cook and would appreciate learning the technique. That kind of generosity and passion for hospitality is rare, but something I have come to expect from every visit as they seem to provide it effortlessly. You can truly tell how happy they are that you are there. I honestly can't recommend That's My Jam enough. Great food, genuinely kind people, and the kind of atmosphere that makes you want to linger a little longer. I can't wait to come back. Recently visited on a slower Friday and scored a table. Not shockingly, the biscuits and jam were the stars of the show. I also had a wonderful grilled cheese sandwich that resembled a Croque Monsieur. My friend ordered the breakfast and it was fine. But I have to say the portion sizes did seem small for the prices. I came here recently and enjoyed the food but I didn't love anything. I didn't try too much on the menu tho. I only tried a latte, breakfast sandwich and the biscuit. The biscuit was my favorite, it was big enough to share between 2 people. The biscuit came with 4 different toppings with some spread like butter, jam and lemon. The breakfast sandwich was good and I like that you get to chose between a croissant or a french bagguette. One thing I noticed was the service, it was very attentive, too attentive to the point where it felt interruptive. We were checked in on maybe 10 times in about an hour or service. I appreciate their consideration but I think there should be servers designated to tables, rather than all servers helping every table. read more

I randomly stumbled upon this place with my friend as we walked down Divisadedo street one weekend, and am very happy we did. The biscuits were so fresh and had an amazing texture with a lovely crisp on the outside and tender bread on the inside. We also tried all four jams, and they were all very unique tasting and didn't have any of the artificial preservative flavor that jams usually do here in the US. We also got the GF breakfast plate, which was a bit more standard, but also had fresh ingredients with and that is avocado spread on top of an egg with potatoes that were well seasoned it on the side. My only complaint for this place is that the portion sizes are quite small so you'll need to order more in order to actually have a full meal. But if you're willing to splurge a bit and try out multiple things on the menu, you'll have a great time. read more

We came to the spot on March 14th around 10:30 a.m. . It was a group of three people. We were very fortunate because when we got there we only had to wait maybe 10 minutes as three parties had left when we had arrived and they were getting the tables ready. The space itself was very cute. There were flowers along the wall on the right hand side, the that's my jam signage near the kitchen was very well done, and I'm not going to lie the HR representative twiggy was adorable. You can find her by the restrooms if she is taking her nap. One call out for our table they did see this towards the right near the flower wall at this round table that was meant to seat potentially for people. I call that out because if we had a fourth person they would have been seated right in the middle of the walkway and wouldn't have any room to move because the walkway isn't very large as table is right next to it. Said differently the space near the wall can get a bit crowded so you just want to be mindful of the seating arrangement. The items we ordered while we were there were the turmeric iced painted Lady drink, a carafe of white wine, and one of the herbal teas. For the food itself we got the baguette breakfast sandwich, the avocado toast, and Pain Pe Du Du Jour. For the drinks, we all did agreed that you couldn't really taste the turmeric inside of the painted Lady drink. So we did ask for another shot of turmeric to be added which did help it but even so more tumor could have been put into the drink. For the food items both the baguette breakfast sandwich and the avocado toast were okay. The items that were in the sandwich or on the avocado toast were generally good but they weren't blending together and what we recognized was that both items didn't have enough of a salt component. I asked for salts and put it on both of those items and then you could really taste the flavors better but still it was not combining them it just let me taste a little bit more of the egg or the avocado. For the baguette sandwich besides salt it also needed a little bit more of a fat component, say butter on the bread or maybe a type of aioli or cream sauce, it just wasn't again melding together it felt like all the pieces were trying to have their own moment in your mouth. The star of the show was definitely the last item Pain Perdu Du Jour. All three of us agreed that it had the most balanced flavors and it was nice to be able to dip it within the different jams that were on the plate. Overall the food was generally good but we were underwhelmed with the baguette sandwich and the avocado toast. read more

If happiness were a restaurant, I'm pretty sure it would be called *That's My Jam*. I came in expecting a nice meal and left questioning whether I should move a small bed into the corner and live there permanently. First of all, the food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite felt like it was made by someone who genuinely cares about flavor, the quality of food they feed to others... and possibly about my emotional well-being. If you're lucky enough to chat with the chef or his wife, do so! You can tell they really put their heart and soul into every aspect of this establishment. The vibe is warm, cozy, and the kind of place where you instantly relax. The staff were so friendly that by the end of the meal I felt like we were all part of a very delicious support group. Final verdict: come hungry, bring friends, and prepare to fall in love with your meal. If you hear someone at the next table whispering "wow" between bites... that's probably me again. The only issue I have now is I doubt any other resturant will be able to provide my taste buds with the same magical expereince. I live in SJ but 10/10 would happily get jammed here anytime. That's My Jam is, in fact, my jam. It is absolutely worth a visit if you are near Divisadero during brunch hours. I learned about the owners' story on Instagram (@wuminations !!). I was so moved by the husband and wife's resilience, love, and joy, and I felt that come through when I visited. The wife was helping with front of house, and she was so kind and bubbly. And, of course, the food was bomb. Here's what we ordered: Lavender Honey Latte ($8): absolutely gorgeous and smooth latte, with raw honey, pure lavender, and ube! It was a generous portion as well, so I felt the $8 price tag was commensurate. Quiche (MP): they know exactly what they are doing with their quiche. The filling was smooth, but not too smooth, fluffy, warm, savory, and delicious. And I love that they use local eggs and dairy! The highlight, though, was that crust. SO GOOD. The crust has a totally smooth exterior, like they folded it on itself, so it's extra thick, flaky, and buttery. There's some special technique they got going on, and they should keep it going on. Breakfast Sandwich ($18.5): my friend got this and she really enjoyed it! It looked super fresh. French Toast (MP): we split this as our brunchy sweet treat, and it was so good! I love that it comes in tart form. It wasn't overly soggy or eggy at all. I believe they use the same magical technique as they do on the quiche to achieve a gorgeous, crispy crust on the outside. That crisp carries through a bit to the inside, though the inside is naturally softer. Sweetness levels were perfect, and the jams were a fun complement. All in all, the food was great. The execution was fantastic, and I felt the prices were solid for what you were getting for the SF brunch scene. I also have to highlight the fun that each plate presents. It's clear that the chef is having fun when designing the plates, rather than either not putting in much effort or trying to make things very fancy. I live for finding places like this - where the menu is unique and thoughtful, the service warm, the dishes exceptional - and there's some magical quality that has you still thinking about it hours later. Each dish was put together with the care of someone cooking solely for us (like if your mom was a chef). We started with the donuts and oh my GOD. Soft and dense, with a perfectly subtle almond/marzipan flavoring. They came on a plate decorated with the house made jams - a small detail, but it made the donuts more special, and I ate almost all of it. Perfection!! As my main I had the breakfast plate - and again, the detail and care put into it was noticeable. Eggs perfectly cooked, thinly sliced avocado and tomato with a side of potatoes... but not your standard breakfast potatoes. It was a little side of potato gratin with micro greens. There was nothing on the plate that was a throw away filler. Ambiance was super cute (even the bathroom had a beautiful chandelier), the owners were warm and personable, and everything was of the highest quality and executed perfectly. This is such a cute place. Walked by with my pup recently and treated ourselves to brunch. We sat outside in their well built parklet. I got the BLT + avocado sandwich, a black rose tea, and my pup got a complimentary bowl of bacon and blueberries. I love a good BLT+A and this one is scrumptious with great bread, yummy bacon and the works. My little pup was very enthusiastic about his bacon and blueberries, too. So kind of them. The tea was also really good. I drank the entire pot by myself. I would love to come back and try the biscuits and jam (I think they were out on this visit) and would love to bring my husband next time to enjoy with me so he can experience this place too. My wife and I stopped in for Sunday brunch. We'd never been here before. We were sat right away and had our orders taken quickly by friendly and helpful servers. I got the breakfast sandwich and my wife got the ricotta avocado toast. Both were very good. My wife got the lavender latte and I got a black coffee. The coffee was hot and refilled. The latte was tasty but not as hot as we'd have liked, but still very pretty and tasty. The restaurant has an indoor seating area as well as a nice outdoor area. I rarely post a review. I only do it when something is incredible or horrible. If it's really good I don't say anything. Today I was in a hurry and running down to a sandwich shop before it closed. I showed up to my destination and it was closed. Maybe even closed down idk. Starving and in a hurry I looked at what was both open and close by. That's when I found That's My Jam. It's a super cute little elevated brunch cafe with nice outdoor seating. I ran in and ask them if I can order something to go. They said yes of course. I scanned the menu and saw an avocado toast. Sounded great but it looked like it had a lot of ingredients on it and I didn't want a big mess. I quickly chose the breakfast sandwich, no bacon and no fancy side (berries and yogurt). They politely asked me if I was sure and I said yes. The person said I'll throw in a small cucumber salad. And I said okay. I sat in a chair at the low bar top and waited. After a few minute a small brown box with a little clear window on top came out. Now I was in a big rush but also I was starving and didn't know when I was going to eat so I decided to take a quick bite. I opened the box and it was lovely little presentation. Two halves of perfect 5 or 6 inch breakfast sandwich on a lightly toasted French baguette. The eggs were cooked over medium and just a little runny (in a good way). There was the perfect amount of aged cheddar on each half. Crisp tomato, ripe avocado, oh and did I mention the eggs were double stacked. I was instantly taken aback by this perfect little presentation. You see I have been eating breakfast sandwiches all over the world my whole life. It's just one of those things I love and when you get a good one great but most are just okay. Then I took a bite. The toasted French baguette was soft! My mind was blown. Idk if they put olive oil or salt and pepper on this sandwich but it was packed with little flavors. Everything was perfect. Cooked perfectly and clearly made with care too. Where was I and what was happening?! I took another bite. It was even better than the first. I couldn't believe it. All of a sudden I forgot about time. Forgot about my plans and my weekend. Time stopped for a minute and it was just me and this perfect little breakfast sandwich that was bursting with joy. I sat there and ate the whole thing and was a little stunned. In a world of predictability built on reoccurring loops and patterns I hadn't seen this coming. I looked around for someone to thank or hug but everyone was busy. I took a breath and left. We drive over 100 miles to eat here, and it is absolutely worth it. The biscuits are the star for our son, who insists we take a box home so he can enjoy them before school all week. I don't often let my kids eat jam straight from the bowl, but some rules are meant to be broken. The delightful jams they serve are a course all by themselves. Over several visits, we've tried the quiche, French toast, zeppole, bacon, BLT avocado toast, nut-butter breads, and the French press coffee. Every dish tastes like it was made with real care and attention, and they never hold back on flavor, creativity, or presentation. You can feel the pride in the kitchen with every plate that hits the table. The experience goes beyond the food. On our last visit, Nadia showed us how to best enjoy the tabletop kaleidoscopes her mother made, and it was honestly magical. Even the credit card holder is a beautifully crafted wooden box with a clever roll-up design, which tells you how much thought they put into every little detail. We came in a group of seven to Thats My Jam after giving up on the 2 hour wait at another brunch place a 15 minute walk away, and were super glad we did! We called ahead of coming to ask regarding the wait and was told there was none. I'm honestly surprised that there was only another large group and an individual here at 10am on a Sunday, but luckily it meant we were able to the snag the large dining table in the middle of the restaurant. Everyone was super friendly and checked in on us throughout our meal :) Lavender Latte w/espresso on the side ($9.95): this was nice and tasty and comforting, though we should've just ordered the espresso in the latte haha - we ended up dumping it in after just a sip or so of the lavender milk. Breakfast Sandwich ($21 w/bacon): honestly super tasty! Great balance of bacon, egg, avocado, and the veggies with the flaky croissant. It was almost homey and most of us ended up getting this. It comes with a super cute dollop of greek yogurt with a drizzle of honey and fresh fruit and served as a nice sweet treat. Avocado Toast ($18.50 w/bacon): my friend got this and though it was a little difficult to eat logistically, it was yummy, and I loved the touch of pea sprouts that it was garnished with. Strawberry Pain Perdu ($18): this was a daily special I believe, and was such a delightful almost bread pudding that was not too sweet! Overall, That's My Jam is a hidden jem of a brunch spot. They had a bunch of fun decorations, including these beautiful handmade kaleidoscopes. Everyone was so friendly and it was just such a cute establishment. This place very pretty yummy!! I had a quick brunch on a weekend here and was quite pleasantly surprised! The location is very nice, calm, and cute. There's outdoor seating as well and the service is very quick. I tried the BLT and it was very good! The bread was soft and the bacon was nice and thick. The sandwich actually stayed pretty crunchy and fresh for a couple hours after as well. Probably one of the better BLTs I've had in a restaurant! I wish there was more signage and information about this place, but kept getting a Facebook page. It would definitely help since this place is pretty great! read more

The food here is decent, ambiance is nice, and service surpassed my expectations. I came here for weekend brunch, and I was very impressed with how attentive the staff was. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with croissant. While it was pretty good, it's not quite worth going out of your way for if you weren't already in this neighborhood. I also wish the breakfast sandwich was slightly bigger. I'm nowhere near a huge bodybuilder with an enormous appetite, but even I was hungry again about 2 hours after consuming this. So I'm not quite sure this breakfast sandwich was worth $21+ (post tips/fees). For what it's worth though, overall it's still a nice neighborhood spot with friendly service. read more

I'm almost afraid to share how wonderful it is because I won't be able to get in again. We had the biscuits and jam which were worth every penny and calorie. I am still dreaming of these bites of heaven. We had the potato gratin with herbs and a side of bacon, which were magical combination. We had the salmon salad which is HUGE so be hungry for all the yummy protein. We had mushroom quiche with obviously home made crust, made with just the right amount of love. First off I want to say that clearly they are understaffed but everything was off from the very beginning. When we arrived we waited in line to be greeted by a host. While in line, several staff members walked past but no one thought to say "hey guys! One minute" or anything similar, which made us feel ignored. Secondly when we got to our table we waited a long time before our server came to take our order. When our server did arrive, we were informed that the biscuits were out for the day, this was especially disappointing as that was the reason for our visit. We decided to order some mimosas anyway and make the best of it. As you can probably predict, our drinks took a long time to arrive and one came out far sooner than the other (two mimosas ya'll...). When we got our food we were sadly disappointed, everything lacked flavor, even requiring additional salt. Also we heard a manager reprimand an employee in front of guests, which was an absolute vibe killer on an already awful experience. In general this place was a total let down. I would not recommend this place at all. It should be one star, but I'm giving two because of the obvious short staffing issue. read more
