Our innkeepers recommended this place so we grabbed some reservation, and man - glad we did. The place was really busy, but managed it well and we were seated a little ahead of our reservation time. My wife had a salad and the Bone-In Pork Chip, which were both fantastic. I had the appetizer of bacon wrapped scallops with a maple glaze. I live in Maine, and eat scallops regularly, so my my standards are high. These were some of the best scallops I've had in years. Done perfectly, but nice and hot (what's with the trend of warm scallops?!). The bacon was crisp and the glaze was perfect. For my entree I had the pork ribs. Fall off the bone tender, with a very nice sauce. Still, for me at least, the scallops were the highlight of the night. This is easily one of the better restaurants in Ogunquit, despite not specializing in lobster. My 8-year-old was happy to order a breaded chicken breast over buttered pasta. The 3 adults, however, had appetizers & entrees and couldn't finish anything. While prices are a bit high ($22+), the portions were enormous. We easily could have done with just appetizers, for less than half the cost. The mussels were the BEST & are a large enough portion for an entree. The sauce is leeks & smoked bacon & delicious. For $12, it's a bargain. The clam chowder is rich & perfectly suited to the chillier nights. We also tried the escargot, which were buttery & redolent of garlic. Our entrees were the chili-brown sugar tuna (served rare), the crab-stuffed haddock, and the shrimp scampi. All were terrific, but far more food than we could manage. Disappointed the bar menu was not available in the contiguous main dining room. Wish the web site had made that clear. We, a group of eight, were asked to arrive at 5pm although we had requested a 5:30 reservation. We don't understand why. This restaurant was the highlight of our trip. My husband and I went on our last night in Ogunquit for a date night and it was fabulous. We had the clam chowder, probably the best I had all week, the fried calamari which we are still drooling about, and he had the blue cheese salad which was also super delicious. For entrees we had the Cajun red snapper and the Ciopino which was loaded with seafood. I highly recommend coming here! The service and ambiance was also excellent! read more

Wow this place does live up to all the positive reviews. Ate there tonight with my husband and two children and loved everything. The lobster crostini was heavenly. The calamari was light and flaky with a spicy sauce. Pork belly was crispy outside and soft inside served with the perfect salad. Our girls got the margherita pizza and the pesto pizza which were also sooo good. Dessert was peanut butter pie and even though i was so full I ate it all. Our server andreea was honestly one of the best servers we've ever had. Attentive and efficient and super helpful. You must go here if you are in ogunquit. read more

Wow. What a find. We went to the bar first and had a good time listening to the bartender and the regulars chit chat. We then headed to the dining room. The atmosphere is fantastic and it is very tastefully decorated. I had the roasted beet salad with goat cheese- loved it! I had the hanger steak with twice baked potato-both were excellent. My boyfriend had the house salad the the rib eye with onion rings and glazed carrots. He was also very pleased with his meal. We were both too full for desert. Like someone else said-our only issue was the sign. We had GPS issues and when we drove by the restaurant I said, hmmm, there is Prime but it looked liked a oil company sign so we both thought it was not the place. This place is great. The service was fast and everyone was super friendly. I'm a lover of mussels so had to get that as an appetizer. The bacon mixed with the mustard was so good. Def recommend. The Cioppino is amazing has a perfect kick of Spicy with all the assorted seafood mixed in the stew. The Salmon was perfectly flakey and the berry jam was a nice sauce to the fish. OMG. Found this place on Yelp. Very cool and cozy place. The food is as amazing!!! Best mussels I have ever had laced with bacon and great cream sauce. The lobster crostini was loaded with lobster. Great location. Free valet parking. Restaurant has a separate dining room from the bar which is very well thought out. Hostess was very pleasant and welcoming. Service was excellent. Those all rate an A+. However, my meal was average, B-. The portions overflowing on the plate is a personal turnoff. Certainly, I don't mind a descent portion but this was way too much food. Ordered the clam chowder and the beet salad. Clam chowder was a bit bland could have used more cream and butter. The beet salad presentation was very different. I have never seen it like that. All of the beets were at the bottom of the salad bowl covered with a heaping amount of greens. To me, it was not well thought out. Had really wanted to dine here but will not return again. read more

Searching last night for a place to grab dinner ( really late). The bar was 90% full and had a great vibe. Ordered scallop wrapped bacon for an app and sandwiches for our meal. App came out cooked to perfection with a delicious light maple drizzle. Sandwiches were well portioned ; served on homemade bread. French fries were real ( yes!) and perfectly crisped. Waitress was on her game all night with great support from bartenders. All staff was engaging, friendly and very well trained. So glad we happened upon this , we will be back! read more

Shrimp scampi was amazing. Do NOT order an espresso Martini SO gross & waitress did not offer to take it off the bill even though I had one sip. She only offered to put baileys in it? Host was confusing on where we could sit, said pick anywhere, then got mad we sat in the dining area? & the waitress kept taking everything away (margarita, calamari) away before we were even done with them, without asking. Wanted to give this place 5 stars, but the service is very very slow. Definitely make a reservation, there is always a line. Salmon is delicious as well as the fried chicken. Drinks are great, they specialize in martinis. There is a kid's menu & it is very family friendly so if you have to bring them with you, you might as well eat good food! We went there for my wife's birthday and our server Paige was absolutely a pleasure. We were a little bit nervous about driving during the night but Paige helped us with directions home. We have walked by this place a few times on previous visits to Ogunquit and finally decided to try it. We were not disappointed! The scallops wrapped in bacon had a lovely presentation and a citrus maple sauce. The scampi was garlicky and rich while the clam chowder was excellent. The chowder was smoky and unctious. Yes- THAT PLACE! We were seated promptly upon entering. We were seated at a window table in the dining room. It was a nice, comfortable, spacious table. It pays to try to dine at these popular places off-season and during the week. We ordered salad to start, which we split, and a half bottle of La Crema Chardonnay. We ordered ahi tuna and cioppino. The ahi tuna consisted of two ample fillets if tuna, prepared as ordered, over a bed of lots of soba noodles. My cioppino had lots of mussels, perfectly prepared haddock, shrimp over a tangy tomato-based broth. Served with two slices of toast, and served piping hot. A delicious dish but I only wish they took the tail shells off the shrimp. We skipped dessert because we were well-fed with this really good food. Service was spot on all night. We were glad we ate here! So we returned, a year later. Salmon and shrimp scampi were both delicious. Good portions, too. Same fine service. Yet another window seat. We're fans. read more

My boyfriend and I went here on our weekend away in ME. We absolutely loved it. The cocktails we got were delicious and fairly priced. We ordered the calamari as an appetizer and we both enjoyed it. Perfect portion for a starter. My boyfriend got the baked haddock dish and could not say enough good things about it. I got the shrimp scampi which I had been craving and it definitely hit the spot. Came here for a "last-night-in-town" dinner looking for something unique and special. We were not disappointed! That Place easily accommodated our party of 6 on a busy weekend night in August. The best part though was the food! The lobster was simple and lovely. PEI mussels in bacon & leek broth with feta cheese crumbles was GENIUS! The flavors were so unexpected but felt like mussels should always be cooked that way. Even the fish and chips were cooked perfectly and carefully with homemade fries. Also recommend the seafood bake which just melts in your mouth! The waitress and staff were very attentive. Overall, I can't say enough. We'll definitely be back!! read more

Thank you again fellow Yelpers. I Was looking for a place to have dinner on our last night in Ogunquit. After reading the great reviews of my fellow Yelpers. That Place seemed like the obvious choice. And that it was. The night started off with a great bartender named Page. She was very helpful to get us a martini even though she had a full bar to deal with while we waited for our table to be ready. Page made us an Expresso and Washington Apple Martini which were both delicious. Then we were seated at our table and greeted by our wonderful server Gabby. Gabby was very knowledgeable with menu and helped us choose from all the delicious options off the menu. First she recommended the Lobster crostini for an appetizer which was amazing. Then she recommended the Stuffed Haddock which my wife had and also the Carbonaro Penne with lobster which I had. Both dishes were excellent. So I just want to thank Page, Gabby and my fellow Yelpers for a wonderful dinner on our last night in Ogunquit. We will definitely be back when we return to Ogunquit. read more

here with 5 others; lovely table away from lots of noise on a sat pm...valet parking that's free (but give the guy a tip!) food was excellent; especially the pork chop, on mashed potatoes topped with sliced apples and a sprinkle of bacon, absolutely delicious; others had assorted meals and everyone was a fan..their bread and honey butter is a great starter. and their carrot cake for desert is recommended. All in all, a great evening with 6 of us all agreeing best meal we had out. Also we have returned to this restaurant for a few years and have never been disappointed. I do recommend and will return. We started our visit in Ogunquit here on the recommendation of our hosts at the Inn and it didn't disappoint. We had several appetizers including the escargot, scallops and lobster crostini. I think the proper descriptor of all three would be mmmmm. Meals were particularly wonderful and made us very happy! The lobster carbonara was my favorite, but you wouldn't go wrong with the crab stuffed shrimp or the seafood stuffed haddock. We asked for and were happily given extra bread to sop up all the goodness. Yum! read more

This place would be a five start but their hostess and her games put them down to four stars. I am tempted to even give this place three stars. With her international accent and a clip bored she thinks shes hot sh!t. We called to make reservations for the evening and they had nothing until 8:30 pm. That's fine well for have a drink somewhere and then come back. As we walk past the restaurant there are three open tables on the patio that don't require or take reservations. We go inside and she says we can't sit there for another two hours. Keep in mind no one is waiting and they are open. She pushes us to get a drink and the bar and wait for two hours. #pass. We go down to the bay, walk around and come back an hour later. Tables are still open. This time she says it'll be about 45 minutes and to go have a drink at the overpriced bar. We go to the bar, takes 20 minutes to get a bartenders attention and order two glasses of wine. Wouldn't you know it that as soon as she saw us pay the bill the tables was magically all ready to go. I know your stupid games. Get us to pay for an expensive drink at the bar to take our money. The waitress was new and she was good. Service was a little slow but they were crowded and we weren't in a rush. The food was delicious from the appetizers of pork and scallops to the meals of chicken and fish. Couldn't have asked for better tasting food. I wish this place was local to where I live so I could eat here again. I would recommend this place for the food and tell the hostess to piss off. read more

My wife and I went here for dinner before a show at the Ogunquit Theatre ("Heartbreak Hotel") in September 2017. I had the Hanger Steak and added the crab stuffed shrimp. My wife had the crab stuffed shrimp dinner, both were delicious! The peanut butter pie we shared for desert was also wonderful. The only criticism I would have is the waitress never introduced herself by name which is a bit of a pet peeve with me. Even so, service was great and we'd certainly go back the next time we get to Ogunquit. read more
