Amazing food and everyone was so nice. Very reasonably priced and portions were perfect! This is my new fav place when visiting Prescott.

Okay so first you get to seat yourself which I quite like because you know you know you may have a specific spot we're you'd like to sit. The service was pretty good. They were very kind and got our order and food quickly and correctly. The food was soooo delicious!!!! It's unreal!!!!! And the ambiance? AMAZING!!! Food was delicious. I ordered the Apple Pan Scramble but substitute the side with a pancake and do not regret it. My husband got the Chicken Fried Steak with gravy and was also delicious. Meh. Stopped he here to pick up breakfast on my way home from work for birthday breakfast for my husband. Crepes are TINY. I got the apple Mary and a plain waffle and it was $20, pretty steep imo. Apple Mary comes with 4 bacon only, no breakfast potatoes or anything like that. Hubby said the bacon was good. I stopped at MC Donald's to grab a hash brown to go with it to make it a complete meal. The food is very good. The service is excellent. It's just such a nice quaint, small coffee shop. But I can't drink regular coffee. I have to drink decaffeinated because of some stomach issues. And I tell you the coffee was the best I have ever had. I just fell in love with it so yes, I recommend it for everything. They have fantastic service food, decaffeinated coffee. read more

On August 22nd 2024 I was fortunate to have been in Prescott Az and to have had a leisurely breakfast at the Apple Pan restaurant. It's another one of those local establishments I enjoy when traveling. The omelette ( cheese and sausage) was very good and way more than enough for me. The coffee was tasty so that I did not have to add cream in order to drink it. The service was excellent the conversation in the place was lively . I would recommend this as a great choice for breakfast when visiting Prescott. read more

Awesome place for breakfast! Cute, cozy decor and exceptionally friendly service! I had delicious scrambled eggs. Big deal, you say? Well, yesterday we had breakfast at a fancy (expensive) hotel restaurant where the scrambled eggs were clearly from a box or bag or something. They were slimy and weird. Here, eggs are fresh-cracked and you can really taste the difference. Mark's potatoes with bell pepper and onion are super tasty and my toast was thick slices of whole grain bread. Was in Prescott for an overnight and next morning just wanted to go to a cozy place with a hometown feel. I looked through all the places here on Yelp and decided That Apple Pan would be the place -- and I wasn't disappointed. Love the real, down-to-earth folks who greeted me and the nice, big menu. They give you LOTS of food for the price -- my scrambled eggs, apple pancakes, coffee and juice were all delicious. It's a seat yourself diner type of environment and the service is a bit slow (I noticed a "hiring now" sign so might be why it's a bit slow but once you're seated the service is attentive. The food took probably 30 minutes to be served but it was well worth the wait. Gourmet stuffed triple berry French toast, large side portion of bacon (5-6 pieces, thick cut), 2 eggs perfect over easy. Great quality and good cost. 2 meals just a tad over $33 and they won't charge extra for use of credit card. Definitely will be back! read more

We were here on a Saturday morning- and it's primary appeal in the moment was proximity to our AirBNB. Anyone can make a basic breakfast- it's just simple food that is very comfortable so anybody can do it and have it be fine but to make it and make it stand out as a particularly good diner food is an accomplishment and they have achieved this lofty goal. My companion had the homemade hash ($1 more and TOTALLY worth it). It's kind of amazing that they serve both a homemade version and a version from a can- that's catering to the wants of your community. But I digress. She also had an upgraded biscuit and gravy on the side. I had eggs and bacon and a biscuit and gravy and an apple pie pancake (I mean- when it's in the name of the establishment you have to try it, right?)we rolled away from the table with a desire to return the next morning. Now to the service- we had the great pleasure of being attended to by Nova, the daughter of the owner. Nova, named after her great grandmother, was a delight. When I said I had questions about the menu she pulled up a chair and sat down- she was simply terrific. We overheard her tell a table of regulars that she was moving out of state. She will be missed. With only two breakfasts to eat during this trip to Prescott, I think we've already decided that we are going back this morning. We know we will need to wait for a table (they don't take reservations and Nova said it gets busy starting when they open at 7) but we don't care- absolutely worth the wait. We went in about 9:30 this morning and they were busy. I asked if we could sit at the diner bar and the hostess or server said we can't serve you we are waiting for the kitchen to catch up . So i said again we can't sit at the bar? I was surprised at the response, it wasn't "sure come in well get you some coffee and drinks " it was no we can serve you and she was very rude about it!!! I was dumbfounded and it took me a minute to realize how awful that response was !!! We walked out !!! Such a shame as we are visiting and wanted to support the locals!!! I make great pancakes but That Apple Pan makes better EVERYTHING! The wait is worth it although we've never had to. I guess we accidentally time it perfectly! My husband gets a Denver Omelette (not on menu but they make it for him) and a side of pancakes. I get 2-eggs over easy, hash browns and pancakes! Absolutely fresh and DELICIOUS! The coffee is a feature item! I dislike coffee but drink 3-cups here. It's smooth and delicious! Service is quick w plenty of coffee refills! It's a perfect day when we start it at That Apple Pan! The food was good and the price was fair. I use a wheelchair and when I arrived I learned their entry door was too narrow to accommodate my wheelchair, so a nice customer found a way to open the other door to allow me to get inside. I understand the ADA laws and I don't expect a small business like this to remodel their premises to accommodate me, but it's 2024 and perhaps a different solution can be found. The prices are VERY reasonable. I don't understand why there aren't lines out the door 24/7. I can EASILY say. Visited That Apple Pan last week with a friend. I ordered a coffee, a Vegetarian Omlette and a side of fried apples. It was absolutely delicious. We did a quick 24hr staycation and wanted to support a local mom and pop. The people at our hotel recommended The Apple Pan. It was unfortunately not a good experience! Some of the lowlights: It took more than 35min to get our breakfast There were two waitresses- the older one continually coughed and sneezed in her hand and never washed her hands We sat at the bar and could see the three cooks use the microwave to cook and prepare far too much When our food finally came- it was very underwhelming. My medium steak was well done, full of fat, and very greasy. The eggs were cold. The cinnamon apples were cold and overpowered with cinnamon. My wife's biscuits and gravy were another disappointment. Biscuits were hard and gravy was barley warm. $30 bill for an hour of our lives we'll never get back eating very poorly prepared and quality food. Do not go here. The food was good but the wait time ridiculous. We waited 45 minutes to get seated then another 45 to get our food. At one time I counted 6 tables waiting to be cleaned off. The workers seemed busy but inefficient. One person would start to clean a table then leave it for 15 or so minutes. The floor was very dirty. I would not recommend this place. read more

They had two cooks, but were short two cooks. It's a small place!!!!! OK, I can understand a slow down in the kitchen..... But it is just breakfast!!!! All the food should be prepped!!!! Omelette- ladle the pre-scrambled eggs in the pan and add the pre-chopped ingredients! And have more than one order going at a time. And the gravy was room temperature. I didn't dare send it back.
