    Thai iced tea

Perfect example of not judging a book by its cover! From the outside you would never know what a delightful cute little place this is. The food was flavorful and very aromatic. Love the fact that whatever your dietary choices are, they can accommodate an array of options with their menu variety. From Gluten free to Vegan they have you covered. Did I already mention the flavor?? Wow!! I'm such a sucker for a good peanut sauce and this one I could literally bathe in. I always order a side of peanut sauce so I can slather it on everything and anything I order. We started with the Crab Rangoon's that were beautifully presented to us. Spice level 4 is legit spicy and my son loved it! He thoroughly enjoyed the Roasted Duck Curry with Jasmine rice. I had the Bangkok Fried Rice with Chicken and doused in peanut sauce :) Very warm, polite and friendly service. I spotted a few things that I would love to try on the next visit. *Yes, the parking lot sucks. The restaurant doesn't have any control of the clientele that shop at any of the other places in the shopping center! This place was delicious and worth braving the terrible parking lot lol Solid 4.5 experience.

I order their Pad Thai and Crab Rangoons almost weekly and it never disappoints. The peanut sauce is always amazing also. I also enjoy their Thai iced tea & pad Thai 2.0 Great portions, prices & flavor!

Okay wow. This may very well be in my top 3 best curries that I've ever had, and I have had a LOT of Thai food as it is one of my favorite cuisines. It was the perfect consistency, the red curry flavor itself was 10/10, the portion was huge, and there was an abundance of content in the curry. I ordered the crazy hot spice level and it was perfect for my liking. Plus, the husband and wife are so incredibly friendly, and the interior is cute and cozy. Will definitely be back!

Thailander is a little restaurant in the old Java Mama space, tucked between Petsmart and Mio Sushi. It is in a busy shopping center and the parking is terrible. There are about ten tables and the kitchen is open so you can see and hear the cooks banging pots around. It is worth the headache of braving the lot. They serve some jazzed up Thai dishes, interesting lunch combinations, the service is friendly, and it is pretty typical in terms of price. My teen gives the Angel rolls ( tofu salad rolls served with a good peanut sauce) and the Thai iced tea a big heck yes endorsement. The Pad Thai, Yellow Curry with tofu (no onions or peppers for my kiddo) and Chicken Satay also scored big points. I have enjoyed their various curries and noodle dishes. One time I was sick and a bowl of wonton soup and an icy mango juice did the trick. Also the crispy chicken nugget things are pretty good. They offer 4 spice levels, medium spice is perfect for me. I wasn't sure about the napa cabbage in my Pad see ew and the Tom Kha soup seemed off and was a little too different for me. Some of their special smashups ( pad Thai burrito anyone?, fries with shrimp and Thai flavors piled on top??) and unique flavors can be interesting and a fun change. Takeout is easy and you can order through a couple delivery services too. Give it a try!!

Environment: lots of Thailand-themed things as well as western-cultures were fused into it. I mean, Spiderman making noodles haaa. Anyways, the kitchen was half open and there were seats/tables for 2-4 people or so in an L shape. So, it was a little crowded as the restaurant was small. Server: he was BUSY. one person serving and doing everything in the front and I think one main chef and someone in the back prepping. Either way, busy but over all nice. Food: I always try to eat something "normal" or "common" if it's my first time going. I got pad thai noodles with tofu for $9 (lunch menu). Portion was okay. They gave me lots of fried tofu. The noodles were mushy and yet...hard to chew? How do I say it...maybe the sauce was mushy and thick and then the noodles were hard to bite and were suppper long. The sauce was too sweet for me. Their lunch menu had lots of things to choose from. If I do go back, I'd like to try their curry.

    Crab Fried Rice

I'm on the hunt for great crab fried rice and so far this is at the top of my list! The flavor was great, could've used larger chunks of crab though. I'm also on the search for the best Thai tea....this wasn't it! It was over brewed and super bitter. I'll try another day for a fresh batch maybe!

These are the 3 expired shrimp that were in my soup.

The cashier handed us some menus and we sat down, however the prices on the menu were crossed off so I had to get up and take a picture of the menu on the wall to get the updated prices. We got the hummus plate which came with their puffy bread. Lamb shawarma plate, Greek salad with lamb gyro meat, and a lentil soup. The portions were very generous. Lentil soup was decent. It tasted clean, but lacked a bit in flavor. The hummus was lighter in color than I'm used to, but it was very smooth and delicious. Paired with their thin, crispy but also fluffy puffy bread, it was really good! Greek salad was a good Greek salad. But the lamb meat was great. Even my wife who doesn't really like lamb thought it was really flavorful. It really stood out. Same with the lamb shawarma plate. The lamb was the star, and paired with the tahini sauce and the rice, it was great. Rice itself was decent. Overall, we really enjoyed the meal. I'd definitely be a regular if I was local.

We had a decently large order amongst 7-8 people and sadly each and every order was really bad. Chicken was undercooked, shawarma was looking more like pan seared chicken that was rushed, lamb was cold, less or almost no seasoning and some orders had entire food cold. Very disappointed. Hopefully others don't have the same experience

I'm giving a fourth star because the guy at the counter is always welcoming. The place is located within a busy Fred Meyer shopping area. So parking can be a bit busy, especially during lunch hours. There's Pho Tango restaurant, a nail salon, and a UPS store all sharing the lot. Inside dining is simple. Mostly tables for two or four. Clean table tops with the times I've dined-in. So no issues with service or dining. Regarding the gyros, they've got lots to choose from on the menu (and up on the menu board). I've tried their Lamb Gyro and Chicken Gyro for $11.99, as well as their Combo Gyro with chicken and beef for $13.99. I do love the fact that the pita bread is nice and warm, and the toppings were flavorful. But I feel the gyro slices are a bit small, not your typical long juicy strips. More like slivered shawarma cuts. I've also tried the Double Meat over Rice ($16.99) which consists of the chicken and lamb cuts, hummus, tzatziki, a little bit of lettuce, tomatoes, all on top of rice, with that warm pita bread included. Honestly, I thought this plate would blow me away, but it didn't. I mean their sauces were good, but I feel it needed a spicy kick to it.. Overall, Monte Gyro is a great little spot for lunch. Plenty of items to choose from on the menu and at reasonable prices. Dining is typical and service is exceptional. I'll likely be back in support of this local mom'n'pop shop.

We stopped by on a free bingo night and had an absolute blast. The service was great, the staff was genuinely friendly, and the whole place had an easygoing, welcoming vibe. Their beer lineup is solid with plenty of Three Mugs brews, and they also offer kombucha, cider, and at least one wine option, so there's something for everyone. The food menu is classic bar fare--sandwiches, burgers, and other comfort bites--but everything we tried was delicious. There's plenty of seating, tons of parking, and since it's in a strip mall, there are other shops nearby as well. I especially love that they showcase local artists' work throughout the space, and the outdoor seating area is perfect on warm, sunny days. Three Mugs has long been my go-to brewery after work, and this Beaverton expansion is a welcome upgrade.
