Delicious pizzas and garlic knots. Wasn't able to take photo of the garlic knots because I ate them. But overall 10/10 on the pizza and 11/10 on the garlic knots

Great slice of Pie! A friend took me here, we were having a small get together and decided on pizza. To say the least this is hands down a must have pizza when you can. The crust was perfect thickness for a New York style pizza, sauce was absolutely delicious with just the right tang and flavor. You can eat it or fold it and holds shape. Pizza Score: 10/10 This place really makes you feel like you can have a great meal and enjoy your time as well. I'll Be back! Thanks Society Pie

Always have great service! Pizza is super yummy, the dough is the highlight, but also has a good amount of cheese and toppings. Their prices are super reasonable for quality and I recommend this place to friends and family.

So glad we ventured out of our regular pizza spots and found Society Pie! We came right when they opened at 11am and dined in with 2 adults and a toddler. Walking in it gave off a lounge-y/sports bar vibe at first (with the big chairs right by the door, the tv on, and the foosball table) however, but I was pleasantly surprised to find some intentional decor and humor setting the mood. I really appreciate the sense of humor. For example, the menu said "get $3 off if you tell us a dad joke" and the drink menu with "a glass of cheap wine for $5" My toddler was of course fascinated by the little toy claw machine and there was a little mouse door - she screamed of joy when she found the decal on the wall by our table. What a nice homey touch! You order at the counter and sit down, they will bring your food to your table , but you have to bus it after. We got the Greek salad to share, which was fresh and with plenty of feta cheese. We ordered the 14 inch 1/2 Feta Betta (pesto, chicken, feta, mushroom) and 1/2 Sweet and Spicy (pepperoni, pineapple, jalapeño) and it was a great variety to try their specialty pizzas. We both had 2-3 slices each and were happy to take the rest home to enjoy later. It got pretty busy during lunch time with lots of people ordering slices and the slice deals which is a great deal for lunch! We will be adding this to the list of favorite pizza spot. Please come support this local fun business with good food and fun vibes!

Create Your Own Medium (14") Pizza: with tomatoes, red onions and 1/2 jalapeños. Garlic knots with marinara.

Local pizza gem! Ordered online a build your own pizza and garlic knots and it was ready in less than 40 minutes and they delivered it to my car.... What incredible service! The pizza is delicious: crust soft and flavorful, sauce very tasty ( I recommend ordering it with extra sauce) and generous toppings. As a vegetarian it would be nice to have more options for toppings but what they do have are good. I highly recommend this place and likely will be my go to Place now for pizza. Thanks.

    Feta,chicken,mushroom,pesto pizza $23 for 14"

I had terrible pizza cravings all week, so when my cancer minion offered dinner after taking me to yet another effing doctor appointment we decided to try this. It comes highly recommended and just won some big local award. There is a kinda new outpost near us in Tanasborne. So, ok. The lady on the phone was very nice and our pizza was ready for pick up on time. I didn't go in but minion said inside it was nice, noting "they are trying to be trendy Portland." We took it to minon's house and watched She Hulk ( side note I love love Tatiana Maslany from Orphan Black and she is a good She Hulk) while we ate. Verdict? It was ok pizza. I can tell the toppings/ ingredients are good. We got a Hawaiian and a Feta/chicken/mushroom/pesto and a side Caesar salad. The crust was good. The Caesar dressing was good, mild - meaning not very lemony or garlicy. The sauce and pesto were both a little bland. So overall everything was fine. It was not very cheesey or greasy or indulgent. It felt healthy. There was no desire to overeat it. I guess that's good right? We both had a couple pieces and my adult child inhaled the rest later and next day. I had another pesto slice for lunch the next day and I will admit I threw more cheese on it. Looking at other people's photos I do not think our pizzas had as much Canadian bacon or feta. But these are tough times I s'pose. I don't know if I would go back. It was good but not great for the price ( two pizzas and a small salad for $50 plus tip). I do admit the crust was good and there was no sogginess like other people have mentioned so they fixed that. If you go maybe try pepperoni or sausage to amp up the flavor profile ( minion doesn't eat those). Still looking for a great west side pizza.

This pizza is not cheap, but it use to be our favorite, we hadn't been in the area for a while so getting this horrible order when we came back is a shock. We ordered early and were the only pick up and customers in sight, no one was busy at all - they were standing talking at the bar. My Alfredo chicken pizza was half burned so the crust tastes bad, the chicken was completely dried out like chewing jerky and the most confusing part - the garlic is raw, crunchy and not roasted at all - like it was thrown on raw after they were burned the rest. The spicy meat had 2 inch ring of crust so there were barely any toppings and they completely forgot the namesake ingredient - the sriracha. For pizza this expensive, I'd expect them to keep portions regular (at least matching throughout an order) and the staff to know how to prepare and check each pizza.

I'm giving them the missing star. Nothing has really changed: The pizza remains about as good or…read morepassable as you're going to get West of Beaverton, the cocktail menu is still the best kept secret in town, and the live music makes it clear that any band that has a night off from the low-rollers' lounge at Spirit Mountain or Ilanai will always have a home... and that any plumber in this town can play Mustang Sally for an evening if they have a Home Depot bucket and no inhibitions. So what's the extra star for? For putting up with what we're going to call "The Downtown Hillsboro Clientele." This isn't everyone who shows up for a meal or a drink in Downtown Hillsboro, mind you, but everyone who makes that experience seem like their personal cross to bear. The Downtown Hillsboro Clientele starts the evening by complaining that they had to park half a block away from the restaurant when, just 10 years ago, they could park directly in front of it. The Downtown Hillsboro Clientele is shocked when it has to wait more than two minutes for a table. The Downtown Hillsboro Clientele is regularly baffled by a restaurant's core menu items. It recoils when seeing Spanish words used in tapas dishes. It asks if the sweet mango wings are spicy. It wonders if your well-reviewed izakaya has teriyaki dishes like the place in the strip mall. It asks for six different beer tasters, but never a flight. It complains that you put a sandwich on a bagel, then complains when that sandwich leaves the menu. It spits out garlic on a Margherita pizza. That last bit of tourist classism I just won't abide. It's one thing when some tronfio northerner looks down on a southern pizza eater for indulging in some garlic... it's another when some borioso 'medigan who took one cruise around the boot decides that makes them the Barefoot Contessa of Forest Grove. Unfortunately for your delicate little white-bread-and-ranch palate, not only will that offending garlic frequently make its way onto Pizza Marinara, but pizziolos who've actually eaten pizza in southern Italy at establishments devoid of tablecloths will tell you that garlic finds its way onto Pizza Margherita either in the sauce, in infused olive oil, or--gasp--in garlic powder. And this is really going to knock you on your ass, but East of the Mississippi? East of the Tualatin? Yeah, folks throw garlic on Margherita pies constantly. And you're going to knock points off because the basil's burnt? On a brick oven pizza? I'm attaching a photo of a margherita pizza upon which the basil is so scorched that it's basically chips. The place that pizza came from? Ken's Artisan: The best pizza in this entire state. That may be the last time you see me compare Pizzario to them, but if you're going to knock the place for what the best pizzamakers in the region regularly do... then I'm sorry, but just start ordering from Papa Murphy's. The Downtown Hillsboro Clientele will not be satisfied until there are a maximum of three restaurants downtown, each of those restaurants serves a menu out of a 1950s luncheonette, all of them close promptly at 8 p.m., and they're surrounded by no fewer than eight antique stores, 10 barber shops with owners over 80, and two mortuaries to shuffle those barbers and luncheonette regulars off this mortal coil. Downtown Hillsboro's biggest obstacle to growth isn't foot traffic, parking, or diversity of offerings--its an obstinate core of old cranks that refuses to learn anything modestly new even if staff holds their hand throughout the entire process. I credit Pizzario for doing the slow, patient work of converting the willing one new pizza, cocktail menu, and local band at a time. Downtown Hillsboro is changing adimirably in spite of the toddler palates and temperaments of its most thick-skulled Clientele.

I've eaten here on a couple of occasions during the last few years, and always under protest. The local pizza chains out here range from the surprisingly good (Sizzle Pie), to the acceptable (Ranch and Schmizza) to the nearly inedible. Odd Moe's fits squarely into that last category. Founded in McMinnville, which would make you think there'd be some wine-country polish on the product, Odd Moe's seems like pizza for people who 1. Are looking to graduate from Papa Murphy's take-and-bake. 2. Seldom venture beyond the frozen pizza aisle at Freddy's or 3. Developed their pizza tastes while spreading Ragu onto English muffins, topping it with Winco mozzarella, and shoving it into a Sunbeam toaster over with whatever toppings are available. God, Odd Moe's is a dreadful strip-mall atrocity of low expectations. The crust is described solely as "white," but seems like more of a nod toward spent-grain brewpub crust. It's often browned to within an inch of its life, has toppings spread to the edges, and doesn't manage any of the chewiness of even a middling Schmizza crust. As for the toppings, they've definitely taken the Schmizza/Fultano's approach of throwing traditional New York/Chicago/Detroit/New Haven styles out the window and piling on treacly, mismatched ingredients like breakfast bacon, canadian bacon, pineapple, chipotle lime sauce, BBQ chicken, black olives, and salsa. The result: Messy pies like the Sweet Spot or Big Juan that have no cohesive vision and are built to feed suburban pizza deserts that don't know any better. It isn't as if Odd Moe's is some budget option, either, with signature pies going for $25-$30+--on par with (or more than) some of Portland's best pizza spots. With other menu items consisting mostly of middling wings or breads with dipping sauces, Odd Moe's isn't doing much to round out the offerings or make itself more enticing to audiences beyond the schoolkid crowd. I don't doubt that we're going to see more closures along the lines of this Odd Moe's, as suburbanites tightening their belts will drop a chain with the quickness. But if Odd Moe's ever wants to build an audience beyond Marion and Yamhill counties, it may want to ditch the weird baseball branding, focus on the food, and put out items that people in the Portland metro will recognize as pizza.

Hapa Pizza: A Masterclass in Fusion and Flavor If you…read morehaven't been to Hapa Pizza in downtown Beaverton, you are missing out on what is arguably the most exciting culinary evolution in the Pacific Northwest. It is rare for a restaurant to live up to "New York Times Best in the US" hype, but Hapa doesn't just meet the bar--it sets a whole new one. The Crust: A Neapolitan Dream Everything starts with the dough. They've mastered a Neapolitan-style crust that achieves the impossible: a light, airy crumb with a soulful sourdough tang and that signature wood-fired "leopard spotting." It's chewy, charred, and provides the perfect structural integrity for their bold toppings. The "Mind-Trip" Flavors What truly makes Hapa a destination is how seamlessly owners Aaron and Natalie Truong blend traditional Asian dishes with the canvas of a pizza. * The Bánh Mì Pizza: This is a revelation. The lemongrass BBQ pork is sweet and smoky, perfectly countered by the crunch of pickled daikon and carrots and a drizzle of sriracha aioli. * The Phở Pizza: It sounds like a gimmick until you taste it. The brisket, Thai basil, and hoisin-sriracha swirl actually trick your brain into thinking you're eating a bowl of noodles, but with the satisfying crunch of a pizza. * Khao Soi & Thai Curry: For those who want a kick, these pizzas bring deep, aromatic spices and creative textures (like crispy wonton strips) that you simply won't find anywhere else. Beyond the Pie Do not sleep on the sides. The Tom Yum Caesar Salad is a tangy, umami-rich masterpiece that redefines what a salad can be. And if they have the Korean Burrata or their Asian-inspired Tiramisus (like Ube or Vietnamese Coffee) on the menu, order them immediately before they sell out. The Vibe Despite the national accolades, Hapa retains its heart. The space is clean and modern, and the service is consistently praised for being warm and efficient even when the line is out the door. Final Verdict: Hapa Pizza isn't just "good fusion"--it's a world-class example of how to respect traditional techniques while fearlessly innovating. It is a mandatory stop for any food lover in Oregon. Pro Tip: They are known to sell out, so arrive early or check their social media for daily updates. Your taste buds will thank you.
