You never know what you are gonna get when you delve deep into Uber Eats. But when traveling sometimes you just got with what looks good, what is close, and what might have a deal. That brings me to Pizzicato - and man, was I lucky! Late afternoon on a Sunday, after a day of traveling, and stuck at a hotel without a functioning restaurant . . . delivery pizza was just what the doctor ordered. And what a treat! I ordered a small pep, breadsticks (wondering why were they SOOOO freaking expensive, more on that below) and a small salad, and I have to say both the portions and quality below me out of the water. As a foodie and pizza guy (born in the Midwest, with deep Chicago and Detroit roots) this place HIT THE SPOT! Seattle pizza scene could learn a few things from these guys. The pep had a delightfully crisp yet tenacious and chewy crust, with a solid feel. No flop, and just enough heft to hold the great, bright and sassy tomato sauce and perfectly spicy large pepperonis. Just enough cheese and parmesan too, making this a nice Neapolitan pie, but with a nice Sicilian flare. It was a huge surprise to find a nice complex pie on an Uber eats SWAG order (scientific wild A$$ guess) The salad, I chose the apple, arugula, walnut, pear, and gorgonzola cheese small size, was easily dinner plate size when out of the box. All the ingredients super fresh, and easily worth twice what I paid. But then again, being from Seattle, I am used to our obscene prices up here, so maybe this is what the rest of the world normally gets for $10.00! But the star (unexpectedly) were the breadsticks. When I ordered them, I couldn't figure out why I had to pay $8.00 for three small breadsticks, but really wanted some, and so jammed the "add" button in my cart. But when I opened the box in my room, all my questions were answered. The breadsticks (let's call them what they are - giant delicious mozzarella stuffed loaves of flaky garlicky buttery crust love) were so unexpectedly good, I didn't know what to so with myself. Each breadstick was hefty, with a delicious flaky buttery crust wrapped around a not too salty, not too stringy, just right center of dense, warm and delicious mozzarella. The existed somewhere between portable stuffed crust and a fast track admission to a cardiac unit. 3 of these bad boys for $8? Really? Can I order these by the gross next time? In the end, I have never been more happy to stumble across a new pizza place in my life and can't wait to visit for real next time, and see what else they can pull off! read more

Absolutely perfect pizza! Thin crust. The toppings were even, the sauce was flavorful. I can think of nothing they could improve on. 10 out 10!! Hayden and Eric were on point today that's for sure! I'm just sad after over 20 years I'm just finding this place. No wonder "R" pizza is always dead. There was non stop pick up traffic. I think R has seen the last of my Pizza budget. Good pizza, polite service, vegan-vegetarian friendly. Their crust is perfectly baked, and light. While we were waiting for the pizza we had their roasted eggplant dip which came with the side of crostini, cucumber slices, tomatoes and sliced olives. The very veggie is my fav among the two we had. However, wild mushroom is equally good. I am not fond of goat cheese, however, it suited the pizza well. Best pizza in the area. Pizzicato's seasonal (monthly) specials are always a joy, and you can't go wrong with a cheap beer alongside your pizza. The pies themselves are consistently cooked perfectly, and can be ordered "half baked" for that fresh from the oven experience if you live a ways away. The ingredients are obviously fresh, the toppings are generous but not overpowering, and the basics (sauce, cheese, crust) are reliably fantastic. My personal favorite is the lamb pesto "Squisita", but I promise the more typical American pies (pepperoni, anyone?) are just as good! My only complaint is that the pizzas run a bit pricey compared to the international chains, but the quality is so much higher, and considering that it's pizza, it still comes out to $5 or $7 a meal if you play your cards right. read more

A go-to neighborhood gem. The Thai chicken pizza is excellent, the salads are fresh and delicious. The staff is always upbeat and friendly. Occasionally there might be 45-60 minute wait for a takeout due to high demand, but that's because this is high quality pizza that people want, and want often. Don't want to wait? Grab a slice, slices are always available. And the napkins are serious and plentiful. Not those one ply wafers some places try to ration out. Pizzacato does not have my favorite pizza. For me, it is always too salty despite it's very interesting ingredients. I enjoy their typically very fresh and beautiful salads though. All of them. There's: Caesar, House, Chinese Chopped, Arugula Pear, Spinach, Kale, and Greek in the way of choices in three sizes. Love that too. This Pizzacato is closest to my house. It's teeny and pretty lacking in atmosphere to eat in. There is a handful of tables and some counter seating. It is a little blah. Take out is the way to go. Trust me. I called it in and it was ready in 15 min. Awesome. Paninis with a side salad are $8.25. You can choose from any of their salads, I like that. The turkey and cheese panini was fine. Tomatoes were removed and handed to me by the non tomato eating consumer. The house side salad that came with it was fresh and lovely ( those pretty little grape tomatoes were tossed onto my plate as well. Shrug). The sandwich isn't the typical ridged panini you might expect, it's on a ciabatta roll thats a bit dusty with flour on the outside, but it's ok. Everything was deemed good by the eater. My chicken club panini was tasty enough. It had chicken, tomato,cheese, bacon, and avocado. The avocado was a bit brown but I dealt. My arugula pear salad was delicious. It is hands down my favorite salad: pear slices, gorgonzola, candied walnuts ( and I usually loathe walnuts), and a savory balsamic dressing. I wished I had gotten only salad and skipped the panini honestly. Pizzacato has some good options for takeout.Try it. read more

So I really liked this place before covid but I went in Saturday to get an arugula pear salad that I had ordered ahead. When I walked in I saw the kid cutting pizzas didn't have his mask over his nose but I thought oh well I mean I'm not gonna get worked up. But as I was finishing paying I saw the girl who was making the salads (and also didn't have her mask on properly) pull her mask down and pop something into her mouth. I came home and threw my salad away. The manager also had a loose fitting mask that wasn't properly covering his face. Just a hole in the wall place with a few tables. Mostly for pickup and will do the half baked pizza so you can finish it at home. (nice option) Really liked the toppings - high quality. Light amount of cheese which I like and the pizza was not salty like some places. The crust though seemed a little bit chewy. For left overs I didn't like the crust but my review is for the first serving. If they could improve the crust by adding a little flavor to it and make it softer and less chewy I would give them 5 stars. I haven't tried other locations so it might vary. read more

I mean... it's pizza. A little over priced for what it is... I mean, I'd pay for a good pizza... but I just didn't leave "a pizza" my heart for this place. Decided to try it because it was next to 5-flavor Cafe. We got the greek salad which is pretty dang good but toppings to lettuce ratio was off. In terms of the pizza itself, the toppings slid off pretty easily. I was a little disappointed because I ended up having to use a fork. One criteria I have for pizza is that if I don't finish the pizza that same day, it should still be good the next day. I mean... I do enjoy a slice of cold pizza... but this place just didn't cut it. The crust was just hard and I have never had that happen to me before. I am all about supporting the local shop but I don't know if I'd crave pizza enough that I'd try it again. read more

I just had the puttanesca and it was phenomenal. It includes artichoke hearts, tomatoes, kalamata, olives, and feta on a garlic and olive base. Although the crust is super thin, all these toppings really come together and I was full with just one slice. I had excellent customer service as well, my server handed me my plate within 5 min as mentioned and grabbed a napkin for me as I was trying to watch my newborn daughter.
