Excellent place to get homemade bread and great sandwiches while waiting, they always serve you a fresh slice of bread for the day, and they have different butter spreads as well I grabbed the Dakota Bread with ham, turkey, cheddar, red onions, avocado, and mayo and luckily for me, they had the Zuppa Toscana soup

Stuffing bread??? What sounds so yummy and my always go to cinnamon chip bread.

Service here is always so pleasant. From the moment you walk in they offer you a slice of bread to sample. They have sandwiches you can order made fresh for you and delicious cookies. Every day of the week that they are open they have a different bread if the day. Don't forget to ask about their rewards program to earn a free loaf of fresh bread.

Great Harvest Bread - egg/meat filled buns (yum)

We were heading into the dry cleaners, and for some reason we'd never noticed Great Harvest right next door. We were immediately offered a sample bite and chose the lemon blueberry bread. Yummmmmm. That's definitely coming home with us. We inquired about any breakfast sandwiches and were directed to the buns. They've got delectable looking buns filled with egg and meat (various meat options from which to pick). Again...yum. Tasted so much fresher and healthier than any sandwich you'd be tempted to grab from a fast food chain. The display counter had a lot of good looking pastry items, and the baking breads smelled fabulous. Service was friendly and fast and the goodies scrumptious. Will definitely return!

Garlic cheese bread and Dakota sample bread with lots of butter!

By far best bread ever! They were out of the cheese sticks but they did have the garlicky/cheese bread and plenty of slices WITH butter for sampling! Love great harvest and so glad I discovered this location! We had one in Corvallis before I moved up to the Portland area and it sadly closed (low traffic my guess) and the bread is still amazing as ever!!

Been going here for honey whole wheat and cinnamon chip bread for years, but recently got the hot tip that they also make amazing sandwiches! They make amazing in between shopping, takeout, or take to work lunches and taste like they use super fresh ingredients! Plus they package it very nice so that they make it easy to eat on the go!

Added a side of baked beans 9/10 for both the beans and sandwiches. Great portion sizes, the sandwiches were overflowing with meat. The sauce to meat ratio was perfect. Not too sloppy, but not dry either. Wishing there was a bit more coleslaw flavor but the pickles and onions made up for it. Coming from a Texan missing some homemade bbq, I will be coming back here again!! 10/10 service - We were told 20 min, we got everything in 5. Staff were incredibly nice!

The café itself is simple, clean, and cozy, with a small outdoor seating area available. Their menu features a variety of sandwiches and burgers to choose from. On a previous visit, I tried the elk burger, which was excellent. This time, I ordered the roast beef sandwich, and it did not disappoint. The bread was lightly toasted, the portion of meat was generous, and the sandwich itself was hearty and satisfying. Service was quick and efficient, making it an ideal spot for a casual lunch. While the space is modest, it is well-maintained and comfortable. They also operate a butcher shop next door, which has become one of my favorite places to purchase quality meats--I plan to review that separately in the future. Overall, I highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area.

If you visit you will find a very large selection of sweet and savory single-serving rolls-treats, sandwiches, and drinks. And they have thin- or thick-sliced loaves of Japanese white bread. It is very popular with families, eat-in, and takeaway. Families love to allow wide-eyed children to pick among options. They have a hygienic system of clean tongs and trays for your selection. The takeaway goes in nice boxes, honoring the tradition of Japanese packaging. I would have to say, I am still trying to figure out how to use Japanese loaf bread, in contrast to Italian or French bread. I grew up in a family of whole wheat bread. When I toast the thin-sliced Japanese bread, the inside is not done. So I'm experimenting with a short microwave after toasting. I'm also looking at what to put on Japanese bread toast. The staff is customer-oriented, parking is vast and they are near the Tualatin Parks and Rec facility to burn calories before or after. Unique, friendly, community, cool.

None around seemed to care about customers. Crowded, probably because it offers sugary food at a lower price than others, but as anything else, you get what you pay for. It has been open for less than a year at their only Oregon location here at Hillsboro. On our last day in Portland, my wife, her mom, and I stopped in for fried chicken on our way to the airport. We were all jolly when we left. I've really come to appreciate the consistency of Jollibee's chicken fried chicken. Unlike some of their competitor's, where the chicken breading might be coming off because it has been sitting under a heat lamp too long, their chickenjoy breading is crispy and their meat juicy. All of us had already eaten breakfast at the hotel we had been staying at, so weren't particularly hungry. Thus, just got a 3 pc Cjoy combo meal ($18.49, no tax) with 3 pieces of spicy, dark meat chicken (2 drums, one thigh), a biscuit (fluffy and tasty), two sides (mash potatoes and fries) and fountain drink. It also comes with a cup of brown gravy, meant to be used as dip for the fried chicken. Brown gravy with fried chicken has become something I seek out now. The fries are very similar to McDonald's and the mashed potatoes to KFC. In both cases, that is a good thing. I got a pager and it went off about 10 minutes afterwards, so got up to bring the chicken back. They have a self serve soda fountain. It is expensive though for a fast food chain, with no value-type menu available yet. Fil-Ams are loyal to this chain, and seem to be OK with the slightly higher price. It will be interesting if they ever choose to expand, what they would do to draw in non-Filipinos.

Also, I asked for the half-and-half, but for some reason got all original wings, which was still really good but the spicy as far superior so I was a little disappointed.
