My husband absolutely loves the Caesar salad here so I order it for him whenever I'm near a Pizzicato. We stopped in at this location to have a dine in lunch and ended up taking well over an hour lunch break. We ordered pizza slices, a salad, breadsticks and drinks at the counter when we entered, then chose a table to wait for our food. All items we ordered needed to be warmed and the salad mixed. When about 20 minutes went by we asked about our order. We were told it should be next. Another 5-10 minutes went by when one of the servers noticed we were still waiting and checked on our order. That's when they realized it was never given to the kitchen. There was a mistake made at ordering and it wasn't submitted correctly. Initially they tried to tell me that my card didn't go through and would need to be rerun. When I explained that I paid with cash they apologized several times for the mistake and rushed to get our order done. The staff was friendly once they got the mistake figured out but at that point I was ready to leave after waiting for approx. 40 minutes. Once our order was ready we decided to just take the extra time to have a small plate of each item and take the rest with us. The breadsticks were disappointing. Not much flavor at all unless they're covered in ranch. The pizza was just ok, not warmed nearly enough. My husband had his favorite, the salad with lots of the garlic dressings. Overall it wasn't a very good meal. The prices are on the high end of the pizza place spectrum and this visit didn't meet high end quality. My one saving grace was they had my favorite soda machine with flavor choices for each soda. Having one of those machines gets an extra star from me. This was probably just an off day, and mistakes happen. I doubt this is a regular occurrence but I don't plan on spending another lunch break here. They are located in a strip mall and have plenty of nearby parking. It appears clean and wiped down in the dining area. There's several tables in the large dining room. I enjoy the pizza and salad lunch specials at Pizzacato. We order pizza when we can from here, today I stopped by my local Pizzacato. The food quality is always strong, they did not disappoint today. The portion size of the salads is more than ample, its a huge portion with a very consistent salad dressing. The Pizza slices are really good sized. They typically have plenty of seating, with a clean building and tables. The only disappointing part of my trip was the person working the counter, he was less than friendly and customer oriented, not sure if he was having a bad day or what but typically the staff is super friendly. He will not keep from coming back in but its disappointing as a customer to be treated like you are a bother. read more

This pizza spot in the Progress Ridge area of Beaverton is a great place if you're looking for decently priced pizza in a casual environment. They have a lunch deal where you are able to get a slice of pizza and a side salad for $10.95 until 4pm each day which is what I chose to get. The staff was very friendly and were quick to answer any questions I had while I was ordering, the food also came out quickly. In terms of taste, the pizza crust itself was good and salad was not bad, but this is not necessarily a restaurant that I would crave coming back to very quickly. We ordered 2 18 inch pies for pickup to eat at home. Our son and daughter-in-law and grandkids had dined in the restaurant and thought the pizza was good. Our order included 1 pepperoni pizza and 1 puttanesca pizza. We loved that both pies were thin crusted and had the wood oven flavor to them. The pepperoni had the right amount of sauce, meat and cheese to make each slice very enjoyable and the puttanesca loaded with fresh vegetables, garlic, basil, feta, mozzarella and olive oil was a culinary delight. Pizza was ready when promised and the price was fair considering the high quality of the pies. This would have qualified as 5 stars to me if the crust was just a bit more crispy. Pretty on par with most "gourmet" pizza spots in Portland. For a large, you're running around $30. Pizzicato is actually a bit cheaper than most places. They use fresh tasting ingredients and definitely offer a variety of unique flavors that you won't get by going to any old pizza chain. The crust is a bit too chewy for my tastes, I prefer it to be a bit fluffier, and overall would've loved having a bit more sauce. The "Wild Mushroom" was loaded with veggies and the mushrooms were great quality, definitely on the meatier side and worth the bucks. You'll definitely be loading on the pepper flakes or parm tho because it was somewhat bland. The "Quattro Formaggi" was ok; the chèvre or whatever stinky cheese they used on it overpowered the other three cheeses and again would've liked sauce on it though I realize it is a white pizza. The Pear and Walnut salad was great; it had a ton of pears and candied walnuts, whereas most places are stingy with them. Overall was a bit too sweet. Bottom line: if you're looking for an elevated pie but don't want to drive or order in from downtown Portland, pizzicato is a decent option but it's nothing special. read more

Whoever Billie is who works here, you rock, girl! I just finished placing a Pizzicato delivery order using the DoorDash app, but didn't see an option to add on extra dressing for my salad, even though I was more than willing to pay extra for it. So I decided to just call the restaurant directly to see if someone could please add on the extra condiment and then charge the difference to the same card I'd just used to pay for my meal. The background noise sounded like they were getting slammed, yet the woman who answered the phone, Billie, still took the necessary time to be both courteous and helpful. And even though there was no quick fix for my issue, at least not in the way I had described, she still assured me that she would personally see to it that the extra dressing would be put in with my order. This might seem like a small thing to some, but good customer service is incredibly scare these days. So when someone actually "gets it", and then proceeds to do the right thing, not because it's the easiest, but simply because it's the right thing to do?... Now THAT deserves a 5 star Yelp-out! Pretty good salad, haven't tried pizza yet. The salad I noticed half way through eating had a bit of red/bad lettuce. Not something I would serve personally. The salad itself was on a rectangular plate which is very pretty to look at but when the butter lettuce leaves are as big as your head/hand and you have a bowl of dressing, all the parm/chives fall off, making it a less appealing salad. No silverware besides a fork, I struggled to eat it without wrecking the whole table but would come back to try the pizza during slice hours. read more

We're originally from NJ and used to eating fantastic NY style pizza. This was very good pizza. it wasn't the best pizza I have ever eaten, but it's better than a lot of pizzas I've tried in Vancouver, WA. The sauce was fresh tasting and spicy (not some thick, cooked tomato-based sauce), and the cheese hd good stretchiness. The sausage was pretty good--crumbled not sliced, with nice fennel flavor! I'd have liked a little crispier bottom crust, but my kids felt it had the perfect NY flop to it. Two of my kids had the quattro formaggi with Gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms and were happy with it. Plus, they carry Boylan bottled soda, which is great! I do wish they had red creamy birch beer, though. Service was fast, and the place was clean. Prices were also good. The pizza isn't that good for the price. It's greasy and the side salads are tiny. You have to wait a long time to get your order. It gives a McDonald's vibe where the decor is nice but you know the food isn't going to be great and there is going to be kids running around screaming. There is this really really tall and really really skinny girl that wears Halloween costumes to work that just makes the whole experience bad. She speaks in a power hungry condescending tone and was overall unpleasant to be around. Seems like a very miserable person. One person can ruin it for everyone and that's too bad. We were BIG FANS of Pizzicato Pizza-Murray Hill years before this COVID-19 Pandemic. After weeks of sheltering at home, we just wanted to feel "normal" again and ordered delivery. I tried ordering online for the first time and waited. After 30 minutes past the promised delivery time, I called the store to check the status. I was disconnected twice but finally got through. The woman who answered made no excuses, apologized and said my large pizza and medium Caesar salad were being boxed as we spoke and would be out the door in 5 minutes. I told her no worries, I knew I wasn't her only customer and that I was appreciative of them being there for us during this very difficult time. I really over tipped the delivery person too. We should ALL be generously tipping delivery folks. So anyone out there writing negative reviews right now, please think twice about doing so. Or how about just don't write a negative review. Most of the restaurants are rethinking their "new normal" and how to make us, the customers, happy. It's not the end of the world if your food is a little late. They are doing the very best they can. Placed an order ahead of time online and scheduled a 6:30 pick up time. When I got there at 6:30, they told me they "lost" the ticket and hadn't even started. Had to sit around for half an hour for them to make my order. The employees didn't seem to care and didn't offer anything for wasting my time. The bottom of my pizza was too dark and tasted bitter. We have enjoyed this Pizzicato location since they opened long ago. Sadly, the most recent experience will be our last. On 6/3 we ordered delivery with an estimated arrival time approximately 90 minutes later. I used $24 we had in rewards towards payment and added a 20% tip. The food showed up at least 30 minutes late and was cold, boxes were smooshed and open, and items missing (that we had paid extra for). The driver's only response was that he didn't know anything about it because "I just do delivery." I was frustrated and disappointed after having other missing items in the past and letting it go so I called and spoke with an employee who was very nice to call me back later when they were less busy. She listened and said she was going speak with the manager and someone would get back to me the next day (6/4). I've heard nothing from them (as of 6/9). It's because it is consistent, has great salads and portion sizes and the rotating monthly pizza and sandwiches mean there is always something new to try. Pizza - 5 - great flavor, variety, and good crust. Loved wild mushroom and 4 quattro fromaggio with sausage. I love the crumbly sausage. Also, like the half-half pizza option. Best pizza in Beaverton. Salad - 3 - arugula pear and Asian cabbage salad were okay, but skimpy on ingredients, mostly greens, and didn't care for neither of the dressings. Browning dry pears with seeds. Price - 2 - Damn...it's expensive. $34 for 18 inch pizza....yikes! Pizza was worth $25. Even after a 15% coupon, my bill was still $40. No drinks. Just 1 pizza and 2 small salads. However, I guess you get what you paid for. The pickup experience was pleasant. I got there a little early and they said I can wait in my car and they will take it out to my car. I would still come back only if I have a coupon. I would skip the salads. Wanted a really good pizza the other day. Surfed around Yelp and tried Pizzicato for my first time. I had FORGOTTEN what great pizza tastes like! Such a delicate balance of flavors with the pop of fresh herbs ... WOW! Forget the frozen stuff, forget those national chains. This is the REAL DEAL!
