First timers here getting take-away from Thailander. We ordered Padthai, which was a real sweet treat, Padkemow (drunken noodles) beef, which was tasty. Might try it with chicken next time around though because our beef is usually minced or smaller in size for other 'used to' Pad Ke Mow fair at other Thai places. Thailanders was strips of actual steak and took a bit to chew. Heatwave, medium on most dishes was too hot for us and our puppy afterwards. Prices were much less than other local places and our orderd dishes were $2 to $4 off the normal $15+ ranges. read more

A very Portland-esque restaurant located in Beaverton near Tabasbourne. It is the same area as Petsmart, Burgerville, and Dollar Tree. Plenty of parking in this plaza. My friend and I came here on a Monday afternoon and it was not too crowded. I ordered the phad keemao and Thai tea and my friend got the tropical crunchy chicken with rice. My phad keemao was definitely on the saltier side and I did not enjoy very much. However, the Thai tea and my friend's chicken dish were pretty good! The chicken had a nice crunch and I love the mix of flavors with pineapple and mango. The sever was very friendly and attentive. Overall the food was not too shabby, but there's better Thai restaurants in the area. read more

I got the pad Thai via DD delivery. Not bad but nothing to write home about either. No lime. I do not plan on getting this dish here again.

We were looking forward to trying this place, but I can't began to tell you how much you should steer clear at all costs. The food is horrible and very overpriced. We ordered shrimp pad thai, mussamun curry, and the lemongrass chicken wings. The pad thai was very wet and mushy, it was way too sweet and tasted extremely "fishy" due to the shrimp they used, which I'm assuming it was frozen and it tasted like they let it thaw in the cooking process, so all that frozen freezer fishiness went right into the dish. After a bite of the pad thai, I didn't touch it again, I couldn't, I would have vomited. The curry was like water, no texture, no thickness, minimal flavor, all of the root vegetables were crunchy, barely even cooked through, the saving grace was the pork was edible, though when paired with my sticky rice which I had to gnaw on just to get a bite due to it being hard in the center, it was just as unappetizing as the first item and moved on to the chicken wings, which, were okay, though over salted and looked like they ran the gauntlet of hell. To wash all the "deliciousness" down, I ordered the miss ginger drink, and I can't even express how disgusting this drink was, it was like I was drinking some kind of mixture of carbonated chemicals. I don't think I've ever eaten a meal so disgusting that it literally turned my stomach, and still makes me nauseous to think about it. This is definitely a never to return experience. You don't have to take my word for it, go ahead, try it for yourself, and after you're done, just remember that I told you so. read more

Worst Thai food I've ever had. I've tried this place three times and every time I woefully regret it. I was desperate for dinner last night so I said what the heck and gave this place my money and again, was disgusted by what I ate. I ordered chicken fried rice and chicken pad Thai (safe right?) and couldn't stand the smell of pad Thai! It smelled like dirty rotten socks that I think was spoiled food and I was the sucker they dumped it on! My wife days they used too much fish sauce but I say it was rotten food they wanted to make a measly buck on. The chicken fried rice was barely any better. The "chicken" was smelly, rubbery and old. I have no clue how this place stays in business but I'm 100% sure they will never get mine again! STAY AWAY from this place; it's gross. read more

Small portions of rice noodles was about right for an average eater The second time we ordered full portions of spicy basil and garlic tofu.. The spicy basil is good but too greasy even by thai food standards The garlic stir fry was a much better option, mild and right amount of garlic.. I wish they had a similar curry for ginger. I saw some of the reviews mentioning hair in the food and did I hit the same issue! It's never ok to have hair in food, such a put off! I hope they take it seriously read more

THAILANDER HAS A NASTY HAIR PROBLEM! THREE HAIRS IN BOTH OUR DISHES. Nasty!! I ordered two dishes from this place this past Friday night via UberEATS. I've never been to Thailander and only picked it from UberEATS because it was later at night and they were still open. We ordered two dishes, and right out the box the pad kee mao had a HAIR on top. Although it did ruin my appetite, believe it or not, I would not be writing this one star review. My kid actually eats the dish after picking out the hair. And the fried rice goes into the fridge. Fast forward to Sunday afternoon and my kid goes to eat the rice. To our shock, there's another damned HAIR! I didn't know about this , otherwise I would have had him trash the rice. But he picks out the hair and then ...wait for it... A THIRD HAIR. OMG , I've had hair in dishes from the finest restaurants. These things happen, I get it. But THREE HAIRS IN BOTH DISHES. I have been here a few times and usually the Pad Kee Mao is unmatched, but this time it was mushy and all the noodles were the size of pennies rather than full noodles. If you really like the taste of lime this is a good place to go. I'm not sure if they changed chefs but everything just tasted very strongly of lime and was unbalanced in flavor. I don't think I'll be back. For reference I got the Pad Kee Mao, Yellow curry, and Pad Thai. Had the boring typical choice of Pad Thai, but the taste was anything but. Ordered: Thai Green Tea- stellar choice. I'm a big fan of Thai Ice Tea, so I didn't think anything could top it. This is a cute little hole in the wall place. We were craving Pad Thai and didn't want to drive further into Beaverton for our favorite Thai restaurant. Thailander is very clean and we absolutely loved the atmosphere being in there. It's a very modern urban feel. They are in a little strip mall but when you're in their restaurant it doesn't feel that way. The staff were very friendly and smiling. We ordered our Pad Thai to go and only waited about 12 min for the order to be complete. It was a decent size for my husband and I to share. The flavor was definitely there, however, it was sweeter than what we're used to. You have to try it to understand. We've tried pad Thai from 3 other restaurants and this one was just too sweet for our liking. It wasn't terrible, but just not what we are used to. read more

The pad se ew had good flavor on the noodles, not too salty or bland, veggies weren't fresh and colorful. Pineapple fried rice just awful. No flavor behind the turmeric color and light curry powder. Very bland with dry chicken. The fat from cashews and sweet salty combo from the raisins, pineapple and "fried rice" were completely absent. Give it a 1 out of 5 stars.
