Definitely on my top list of Thai resraurants. Its small and intimate, we sat by the window which was nice. Service was great. Our server was very personable, polite, friendly and attentive. We had the shrimp soup. It was spicy and flavorful. We also had the shrimp pad thai and the shrimp lard nar. Delicious!! We ended with the fried banana. One of my favorite Thai places to eat and wonderfully its in my town. Their hot teas are amazing as well as their service and food. Their takeout has been great study time meals before exams and they bring the food quickly, the price can be a little steep at times but I don't mind shelling it out for a good experience. My girlfriend and myself both enjoyed our visit to Thai station. We went the day before thanksgiving and were seated immediately. We were greeted by our server promptly and ordered some drinks. A few minutes went by and the server returned and we ordered. We got the veggie dumplings appetizer and they were very good. Perfect portion appetizer for 2 people. Then came entrees. I ordered the mango chicken and my girlfriend got the drunken noodles. Both were excellent choices. The mango chicken was a large portion and tasted great. It was a mix of veggies and chicken in a mango sauce that was excellent. The drunken noodles were spicy and perfect. Large ribbon noodles with tofu and veggies in a spicy sauce. I will be getting them next trip to Thai Station. Overall we had a good experience at Thai Station and I will be coming back here. I like Thai food and this place was a block away from my office. I ordered the Tofu Pad Thai. The noodles were very sticky and greasy. The vegetable dumplings were ok. Their spring rolls were not that good as they put too much lettuce and not enough of other veggies inside. I did not finish my pad thai because it was horrible. Thai Station really is a hidden gem of Merrick, although it's not as hidden anymore as more and more people find out about it! We live in the area and have been coming here and ordering out since the place opened. Basically anything that you order is going to be delicious. Starting with the appetizers: any spring rolls and dumplings are delicious. The Indian bread with peanuts is different but super awesome. My friend had their papaya salad once (which i would never order) and he said it was literally out of this world, so I'll take his word on it. Noodles: ANY! Specifically, their pad thai of course is great. Definitely on the spicier side but very good. Pahd Wooson (shrimp with clear noodles) is DELICIOUS! Had pieces of tomato in it and the shrimp are huge. My personal favorite is the chicken with fresh noodle. It has SUCH a nice taste to it. Almost sweet, but not too sweet! Pad See Yu is great also, but as you will find in most Thai restaurants, it's rather greasy so just be prepared for that. Pineapple fried rice? Just say yes. ANY of their currys!! Theyre amazing! Comes with rice of course to pour over. SO good. Their entrees are awesome also. I can personally recommend the ginger chicken, cashew chicken, and ginger beef with black bean. All very good! We typically take out from here and they certainly do not hold back on the take out orders. Theyre PACKED in those take out boxes. So don't be worried you will get jipped, you wont! If I were to review actually eating in the restaurant? Maybe i'd bump this down to a 4. It leaves less to be desired. Very tight space, drab ambiance. A random wall TV in the corner which is usually on an asian station and the employees are often sitting in the corner eating their food as well. They aren't the friendliest either. I ordered delivery from here twice. The first time it came unbelievably fast . The second time it was about 40min wait. Besides that the food was awesome. The beef skewers were out of this world! This place is not worth your time. First of all, the waitresses do not appear as though they really want to be there, so don't expect a smile, a thank you or a good bye from any of them. Their Thai Tea is a syrup that's watered down, with water...No milk or cream. The food is nothing special, as it has no flavor and it is served in a small crude looking metal vessel that looks like a mini wok, and you eat from that - Stoneware or China is not offered. Now, keep in mind, I've eaten at many Thai restaurants, because I love Thai food; There is nothing appealing or appetizing about this place. Tao Hu Hor (Bean Curd Sheet) was doused with the same unusually sweet brown gravy served with the Tua Yau (String Beans) instead of the basil/black bean sauce described on the menu. I went to this restaurant with 6 of my friends and we had a great meal! The decor is simple, yet very classy. The prices are reasonable, the waiters are attentive, and the food is good. The chicken coconut soup was my favorite item on the menu. The soup was tangy with a hint of sweetness courtesy of the coconut milk. For my main dish I had the Pineapple Coconut chicken fried rice. I would highly recommend this dish. The pineapple and the coconut flavors complemented the chicken and rice well, making for one tasty meal. After two years of passing by Thai Station I finally got a chance to give it a shot. They have a good selection of Thai and non Thai food on their menu. Eats: - Po Pia Sod (spring rolls) was very good and fresh. The sauce that accompanied it was a good add on to the rolls - Khao Pahd Bar Saranee (mint fried rice with chicken) was delicious and portion was big - Nuer Pahd Nam Mun Hoey (Ginger Beef w. I'm not sure I'd bother going here for anything other than take out. I went here last week and was really surprised to see what an older crowd this place attracts. There's nothing wrong with that, though. What bothered me and will keep me away from dining in, was the staff. We were the first table there for dinner and until other patrons came in, we had to deal with staff members watching Little Wayne videos on full volume on an iPad in the back of the (very small) dining room. As if this wasn't bad enough, one of the men working there was also swearing up a storm. If I wanted to deal with that, I would have gone to a dive bar. I've eaten here several times, both in the restaurant and take out. I find that the food is considerably better, although the portions smaller, if you eat at the restaurant. The pad see ew, while very good in the restaurant, always seems to be dry and flavorless when we order take out. I've had this happen more than once and I won't order this dish from Thai Station again if I'm doing take out. I would also be careful when asking for a dish to be prepared spicy. They are very inconsistent on this front. Sometimes we've asked for spicy and the dish arrives without any spice whatsoever, and other times they've made it so spicy that it's practically inedible. I would err on the side of caution unless you can handle extreme spiciness. On the whole, I think the food at Thai Station is pretty good. The mango chicken is great and the pineapple coconut fried rice is also excellent. If you're ordering take out, I might suggest trying someplace else, but if you plan to dine at the restaurant, this is a good place consistently delivers good food and fast service. read more

They usually have Family Guy playing on a big TV in the back when I am there. Do not order the summer rolls. My Vietnamese friend was astonished that they only contained lettuce (with,perhaps, a hint of cilantro or mint). My boyfriend and I come here all the time! It's the closest thing to city Thai food I've seen here on Long Island. The pad see ew is absolutely amazing, I get it every time, and the quality has never wavered. Most of these dishes will be served in a nice hot skillet to keep everything warm as you put it on your plate. I always have enough to take home to my sister, who loves the place as well! The mango with sticky rice is great as well. Whipped cream is not usually served with it in other Thai places, and at first I was scraping it off... but then I tried it with a dollop and it was surprisingly good. I was introduced to this place by a friend who swears this is her favorite Thai food restaurant and I was not disappointed. I have no had anything that was not completely delicious there. The chicken pad Thai, the pad see yew, the pineapple fried rice and the steamed chicken and veg dumplings are SO SO good. I eat here a lot, the prices are very reasonable and whenever I've eaten in the restaurant they service is very quick and nice. It can get crowded on the weekend but I've never had to wait long or not been able to get a seat. I've found it hard to get too Thai food in the bellmore, seaford, wantagh area but this place is worth it and close to all those towns. Love this place! read more

The food is okay here. The service is so bad. Today I tried to get lunch there with my boyfriend. We arrived at 3:20 (lunch specials available from 11:30-3:30). We got drinks and then asked if we can still order off the lunch menu (it wasn't even 3:30 yet) and the waitress laughed and said no. 1) So rude of her to laugh. And 2) they should honor the lunch special prices. I work at a restaurant and have to do that all the time. At my restaurant the management cares about the customer leaving happy. First time coming here with my toddler & partner. Once we walked in they sat us right away. Owner has a bad attitude. We got delivery with jasmine rice missing. We call. They insist they put it in bag. We look at our dinner table. No rice. Owner will deliver missing rice, maybe, sometime later tonight when it fits his schedule. We eat our curry order with no rice. LOUSY customer service. You mske a mistake, you fix it. We will never order from them again because this is 2nd time we had similar issue. Plus, food really isn't that good. Plus, it costs too much (often $65.00+) for a few dishes. I was searching on yelp to try something different and definitely something that delivers. Thai station....it's ok, bland. Ordered the spicy basil chicken. It gives u an option how spicy and of course I love spicy. Sauce was not spicy at all and thin! Not flavorful. Also ordered summer rolls with peanut sauce. WORST SERVICE EVER. I used to be a big fan of this place. I loved the pad thai and mini spring rolls and was a regular customer. It was always better to eat in b/c a lot of the time with takeout the pad thai was dry. Still, I overlooked this and continued to eat in and take out from there. However what I won't overlook is the complete lack of service or regard for their customers. Not only are the staff rude, the owner could care less. This is the most poorly run restaurant I have ever been to and the food lately has just been mediocre. I've been going there since they first opened but after my most recent experience there where they left something out of my delivery and then 2hrs later finally showed up after telling me every 15 minutes I was the next delivery and then the delivery guy proceeded to yell at me and wouldn't give me my food b/c I demanded a refund (which the person answering phones had told me they ok'd with the owner and supposedly informed the delivery guy of this). The staff then gave me the # for the owner who I left a message for and never heard back from. Well congratulations, you just lost a loyal customer as well as numerous other customers who I had sent there and now am sending to Onzon on Merrick Rd in Bellmore. They have great food and a little something called service. The owner of Thai Station could learn something from them. I wouldn't be surprised to hear they end up going out of business. read more
