I had actually ordered take out so didn't have the chance to eat at the restaurant. However overall I was fairly pleased with the food. Was quite enjoyable and very filling! Egg Fried Rice w/beef (mild) - the rice tasted a bit over cooked and there wasn't as much beef compared to the amount of rice. It was good but tasted slightly bland, added some of my own hot sauce to it to give it some flavor. Egg Rolls (3) - lots of places make egg rolls quite differently, so I ordered 3 in case these were small. I'd have to say 3 was more than enough. These were very good, some of the best I've tasted compared to other places. Unless you either love egg rolls or are very hungry, ordering 1 is enough. Also the sauce was yummy as well. I would've given the food a 5 cause I did enjoy the meal but the bland flavor of the fried rice and it being slightly over cooked held me back. This place is good for lunch as they have buffet style lunch combos that come with a drink. You can get a one item rice bowl or a two item combo. For the 1 item rice bowl, you get white rice. But for the 2 item combo, you can choose between white rice, brown rice, fried rice, or chow mein. You can also order items off of the menu which are all cooked to order. Most of their items are spicy items. You get to choose the level of spiciness, ranging from no spice to 4 alarm fire. Their medium level is plenty spicy for most people. They have seating inside with more tables on the second floor. They also have outside seating. Leaving a tip is optional here. THIS PLACE SUCKS. If I could I would leave 0 Stars. This place first charges 2.10 at least for each drink. Ordered 2 and they didn't even fill it all the way to the top. I come home and it's disappointing. Place also charges 60 cents a refill... you have to be joking me. Second, I ordered two pad see ewe and they forgot the beef... So I call them and they tell me to come back and they will make a new one. I get there and he says where is the old one that I left at home. I was so furious leaving the house since it's a 15 minute drive there and he tells me to bring it back later. Super great option for Postmates/Quarantine delivery. Was tired of my poorly cooked food, so decided to order in some dinner, glad I made that decision. Thai Spice prepared my order in an extremely timely fashion. As for the food, I ordered the Yellow Curry and Pad Thai. The servings were plenty, and both of them hit the spot in regards to flavor. Note the medium is fairly spicy, so if you're not one for spicy I would pick mild. Overall, I have no reservations ordering from this place for delivery, as it was undoubtedly a 5/5 meal. I came here out of convenience since it's close to my friend's work. We got pad thai and pad see ew. Pad thai portion was unusually more than my pad see ew even though I have paid two dollar more for that, guess it's cos I got shrimp and my friend got a chicken pad thai. I like their pad see ew, cooked well to my taste. Pad thai, not so much, it seemed more oily and overcooked, last time I got a beef pad thai here and the beef was overly cooked to the point it turned dark and dry. To me, it is a sign a good restaurant to be able to survive in these unprecedented times. We love the curry chicken, coconut chicken soup, mango sticky rice and I always get a side of peanut sauce to use with my own recipes. The servings are generous and the prices are good. This is the worst Thai food you can ever have. Meat and chicken is fatty and tough. The rice is mushy. The noodles are broken and stuck together and gummy. The portions are terrible - if you order a chicken dish they give a tiny amount of chicken and put it on a huge bed of gross rice. There is not a single redeeming quality about the food. We've been coming to Thai Spice since around 1984. Back then they started as Grandma's Chicken serving broasted chicken and potatoes. Excellent. They started offering Thai food on the side and that's when we discovered pad Thai noodles and more. The owners are so nice and friendly and food is CONSISTENTLY great. What I like about this location of Thai Spice is the consistency. The food always tastes the same, every visit. When my son took classes in the area, we ate here 3-4 times a month. It was a quick, easy take out. Now that we live further away, we only make it every 1-2 months. But after 13 years of eating here, it's still in our eating out rotation. Any other Thai spot I go to and if a customer is allergic to peanuts, they substitute it with more noodles or something. It's not the customers fault they are allergic. However, I ordered here and my box was like 1/4 missing. The food was cold n the pad Thai was clumpy by the time it came to me. I call to tell them and firstly she didn't understand me. Then I go in specially and she makes me wait 10 mins just to tell me that that's how their portions are. They don't care. The noodles were so over cooked that the noodles were soggy and obliterated and just a pile of mush that was over sauced and too sweet to the point I couldn't even eat it. Best drunken noodles I've ever had. I ordered through Uber eats, got the spiciest level and it was the perfect amount (my spice tolerance is very high so it's not easy to impress me). Good for if you want a quick fix of Thai food. Nothing special at Thai Spice other than their hot sauce from Thailand! You can choose whichever protein you'd like (Chicken, Shrimp, Tofu, Vegetables, etc) for your dish so it's easy for people with all diets :) They have easy parking because they share a huge plaza with other businesses.
