O-Town New FAVORITE Thai food place. Relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. The service was outstanding and I can't stress that enough cause that is something that is lacking in Ogden. But the food... we started off with fresh spring rolls that were huge and very delicious. They have an amazing peanut sauce to go along with them. I had the stir fried wok noodles with chicken. After the large rolls we devoured for appetizers I could only eat 1/4 of my dinner and it was super tasty. My husband ordered the spicy basil stir fried rice that he let me taste. To say that it was a disappointment means to say nothing. It was THE WORST Thai place I have ever been to. My husband and I decided to check it out on Friday night after a long day of work. The server that took our order, had a huge hole on his sock:))) it was all the way above his heal. The drunken noodles were so over cooked and salty! The TomKa soup was brought after we got our main dishes, and it tasted like it came out straight from a can. It was so salty that it made me cough. Even though the restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere, the food is what I remember the restaurant by on the empty stomach. Wife and I went here for date night after other plans Dell through. We were greatly pleased with the food and the service. Mike is a rockstar and was super attentive to us. We got the drunken noodles with tofu and brisket pho. Both were so good we ended up switching meals so we good enjoy them both. We look forward to going back! read more

Some of these reviews are deceiving because the food I've tried have been nothing but delicious. My first time coming there was such a good experience I went back within the same week. The owner always makes sure we leave satisfied and is all around a nice guy. They make everything from scratch so it may be a little wait for it to come out but it's worth it. There hasn't been a Thai restaurant in Ogden that I could honestly say I've liked a majority of the menu. It I have tried 8 dishes On this menu from appetizers, pho, curry, sushi and dessert and I'm 100% satisfied. read more

Super over rated. Ordered pad kra pow and pho. Both were super salty. Pad kra pow was super sweet in addition - almost felt my mouth shrivel just from the intense salty/sweetness. Pho tasted like the broth was made from cubes. Also expensive for what it is. Not recommended at all. read more

We thought it was good. The food came out pretty quick, but the place was pretty much empty. We had the spring rolls and beef pho. Would have been 5 stars but there was little bit of a beef deficit for what we are used to getting. You kinda had to dig around a while to find a morsel of meat! read more

First pho place I decided to try since I moved to Utah. I love the aesthetics. It's really nice inside gives really good vibes. The only issues I had was the flavor of the pho. My favorite Thai restaurant just closed down. So far this is the closest thing I have found. It was worth a return trip. Me and the wife showed up in really grubby work clothes looking like a couple of bums and were treated a little that way. Meh. I don't think it was intended. Just something to watch for. My wife and I had lunch there in early March, 2003. I ordered the cashew nut with chicken. I have to say, it is the worst Thai food I have ever eaten. It did not taste fresh and frankly, tasted like it was out of a can. I've never had La Choi Chinese food but imagine that this is what it tastes like. The chicken was bland, the sauce was bland. I don't even know how to describe the cashews tasted old and stale. The food was just not good. I love Thai food and I like to try new places. I could not recommend the Thai-Pho Kitchen. I ordered Penang curry, couldn't taste coconut milk at all. Was not like other Panama curry that I've had no peppers which I love. Just had bamboo shoots and very little chicken. The flavor wasn't what I have expected from Penang curry I've had in the past. read more

My partner and I had been traveling from Portland, OR to Denver, CO. We called in the order and arrived 15 minutes later. We were so very disappointed at the low quality of food given $17 dollar dishes we had ordered. The pumpkin curry tasted nothing like pumpkin, and the Pad See Ew tasted old and very bitter. To make matters worse, the portions were tiny. We are used to larger portions in Portland. We also fell in love with Thai cuisine, and this place tasted unlike anything we have have before. If you traveling through, save yourself the trouble and don't stop :( read more

My roommate ordered for us through DoorDash and the food was really good. I loved that I was able to choose my spice level and the spice hit just right. The customer service was great too. There was a hiccup with our order on the Dashers end and they were polite in the way they handled it and quick to communicate with her on the phone about the order. I'm not sure if she spoke to the owner on the phone but she thinks she did and said he was extremely polite. She enjoyed her Pho and I ordered the Nam Khao level 5 spice. My families from Thailand and when I moved out here "spicy" sometimes feels non existent in the food out here or their spice like isn't spicy, but this restaurant did not miss, I appreciate the restaurants authentic taste. I told a bunch of people on my floor to order from them because we both really liked our food and I feel it's hard to come across some good authentic Asian food that's not so heavily Americanized. And the customer service was a A++ according to my roomie. - Small update: I tried my roomies soup when she got it and it reminds me exactly of my moms Capiet/Kapiet however the folks spell it. So if you know what that is and miss it like I do, the brisket pho soup reminded me of it. Felt very homey. read more

Unbelievably BAD. Horrible. Uncomfortably hot inside, pathetic décor, incredibly long wait even though there were very few customers. Over-priced. The "Fresh Spring Rolls," with shrimp, each had one small, low quality shrimp inside. About two thirds through my meal the waitress stops by my table to tell me she can check me out up front as soon as I'm ready. When I got up front to pay the standard options for gratuity are 20%, 25% or 30% (with the option for a "custom" tip. So bad, so bad in every respect. Below mediocre. Did I forget to mention the food was not great? Not tasty, not genuine. I have NO CLUE how this place is still in business. No redeeming value whatsoever. read more

A friend and I where walking down 25th Street in Ogden enjoying the various vendors at the Ogden Farmers Market when we both turned to each other and without missing a beat stated how hungry we had become! Much to our surprise in front of us was Thai-Pho Kitchen! We were so very lucky to have stopped right in front of this restaurant! We were immediately welcomed and seated! The service was attentive and we ordered a few appetizers much to our delight as the food was both well made and very fresh! I have been to Thailand on a few occasions and finding out the cook was Thai made me feel like I was back in Bangkok! This gem on 25th street should not be passed up! Highly recommended!! read more

First visit. Great location on 25th street in Ogden. Authentic decor, nice and clean. Service good, went at lunch. Hours are a bit odd, Closed Mon, Tues, and closed between 3-5pm on Friday. The Food: I was here to check out the Thai food. I travel to Thailand frequently and have for 40 years. My wife is from Thailand, I lived there for 2 years, and I was a TripAdvisor expert for Thailand for 15 years. Just saying I know authentic Thai foods. I wanted to try Thai noodle soups, such a beef, chicken, pork, etc. Although a Thai restaurant they tell you they only serve Vietnamese Pho, and it's not the same as Thai style. Truth in advertising. It was good for Pho, side dish of jalapenos, bean sproats, limes and sprig of basil, big bowl of noodles (mine with beef and meatballs) and variations of garlic extras to add to your Pho. Meat was very good and tender, meatballs great. Probably great bowl of Pho, but not my taste really. Too bland. Thai style noodle soups have deep flavorful broths, more vegetables, and always served with sides of sweet(sugar), sour(vinegar), hot( ground thai peppers), salt( fish sauce) and ground peanuts. You add to taste. Thai style more flavorful than Vietnamese Pho. Had their fried spring rolls. Very good, and very big. Dipping sauce was good but not the usual I see in Thailand. Thai is sweet and sour, a little spicy normally. I didnt try their other dishes yet, but other customers seemed to enjoy what they ordered. So, worth a visit IMO, but if your looking for Thai style noodle soups, you wont find them here. Just Vietnamese style. read more
