Best chicken Pad Kra Pao in Utah

Best Pad Kra Pao in Utah. The owner is very friendly and ALWAYS makes sure you are getting the best food and service.

This place is pretty good and the owner is sweet. I wanted to love it and hopefully find in it what I've been searching for in Utah as far as my go to for Thai, but it didn't wow me as I had hoped. Although the food was good, it wasn't the best Thai food I've had and so my search continues.

The service I experienced at Heat Pho was perfect! I approached the counter 15 minutes before closing and normally, I hate burdening employees by being THAT customer. But the ladies there greeted me with a smile and assured me that they were more than happy to help me. To put it simply, the customer service was awesome and the food was delicious! I definitely recommend ordering Spicy Pad Kra Pao and the mango boba tea, made with FRESH MANGOS. Overall, a very pleasant experience and it was even more uplifting to see how much pride these ladies have in their culture and in their cooking. Love this place!

My daughter and her first "Thai Boba Shaved Ice - Mango Flavor".

We were at the Ocean Mart in Roy and were excited to see that they sell Thai Boba Shaved Ice. The flavor my daughter picked was mango and she loved it! We will be back to try some of the other flavors.

Food was yummy as always. Service was amazing as well. I ordered the Pho and pad Thai. Both were delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

It was good. Located in Ocean mart. Small portion but only like 8 bucks so super cheap and quick for a lunch break!

We were looking for some good Asian style food and happened into Ocean Mart where our noses immediately drew us to Heat Pho.

TBH, it was due to some of the amazing photos you all took on here, so THANK YOU for that!! Absolutely nowhere I have been to does Thai food like this place, and the for the extremists such as myself; Thai Spicy! This place has got to be the best in Utah for a lot of different reasons. Their attention to detail, spiciness, and fresh food is what keeps me coming back again and again! Very addictive. If you are on the curious side but don't want to spend a fortune, I highly recommend their lunch special: Any Two Entrees Lunch which comes with a medium (20 oz) beverage of your choice, an egg roll or a cheese wonton, and your choice of different Curry's and Stir Fry's. I always mix & match and pick one curry and one stir fry to try out the flavors. Curry and Stir Fry comes with your choice of protein: chicken, pork, or beef (for a small additional fee). So far I've tried the Red Curry, Green Curry, Pineapple Curry, and Panang Curry. In regards to the Stir Fry's, I've tried the Black Pepper (OMG...ask for Thai Spicy if you can handle it...Sooo delicious)! Thai Basil Stir Fry and Cashew Nut Stir Fry are equally as good. The Sweet & Sour Stir Fry definitely has a different sauce taste compared to other establishments. Not necessarily my fave, but there really isn't one dish that you can go wrong with. I've also tried their Beef Salad which was abundant in both fresh vegetables and beef. You also can request your spice level on the dressing...so of course I went with the spiciest that they could make and it was fabulous! It also includes a side of white rice. I'm beyond impressed with this restaurant and wish that I lived closer to it. I'd be there everyday (they are closed on Sunday). I can't recommend them enough and I sincerely thank the owners for always doing the best they can to meet my extremely high spice level. 10/10 HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!

Who could resist trying a place that has Thai food AND pizza?…read more I love Thai food and I like pizza, so the thought of ordering a Thai pizza was really intriguing. After looking at their rating, we had to try it. We ordered the Thai Pizza , Tom Yum Kai, and Pad Thai. The server brought the condiments which included Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, soy sauce, Sriracha, Hoisin Sauce, and chili oil. What a combo! What a nice surprise! Who would've thought that curry and pizza would go together? Pad Thai was really good. Lots of flavor and very fresh ingredients. Tom Yum Kai has just the right amount of spice and was incredibly flavorful. You can taste the lemongrass and a hint of fish sauce. We also ordered the chicken satay. Hints of curry and the peanut sauce was one of the better ones we've had. Give this place a chance. You'll be pleasantly surprised!

I say this because if it was busy we could be more understanding. Food: The chicken basil came out late and overly salty. When we told them that A) it was too salty and B) it came out late and we wanted to cancel it. They said no. If we ordered it we had to take it home. Ok fine. But then they took the food to the back and didn't fix it. They just it boxed up so almost as if they hid the fact that they didn't bother fixing it. The sad thing is our last visit the food was great. We ended up ordering 5 dishes only to trash them as the food was inedible. Service: OMG the service was atrocious that too for an EMPTY restaurant. The lady with short hair and glasses seemed to be doing us a favor (the only people in the restaurant) by serving us. She was cleaning in one corner of the restaurant and when we asked for help she yelled in a rude manner "what do you want" again last time we were here the servers were kind and it was on a busy Friday. But this kind of behavior was unacceptable for an EMPTY dead restaurant on a Wed. I'm not from here we were visiting and we were hoping to keep being a repeat but absolutely not. That first time seemed to be the only good experience. They need to figure out their food and more importantly service.

Being a Vietnamese restaurant, I was a bit disappointed to learn that no one spoke Vietnamese here. I expected that with the spelling of Van Loi and their name having Vietnamese accents, there would be someone, but our server didn't know any. Not a killer but a bit sad because I wanted to speak in Vietnamese. If you know, you know! We went here around lunchtime and got the lunch combo special a Steak Pho which came with 1 spring roll or 1 egg roll. I got the egg roll and it had pork and shrimp in it. The steak pho's broth was good, but it didn't come with a lot of veggies. I am Vietnamese so I expected a lot of veggies on the side. You want to make your pho smell full of that veggie plus pho smell. Despite there not being a lot of veggies, it was okay. There were three things I didn't like about the pho. One, the noodles were cut. This should never be the case. All pho noodles should never be precut. And two, they never gave out chopsticks. You had to ask for them. So I'm assuming you expected everyone to eat with forks? Is that why the pho noodles were precut? Three, there weren't a lot of meat with the steak pho- maybe 4 pieces in total. The egg roll though was really good. I love the large egg roll piece. It was perfectly fried and there was a lot of filling in it. I would say that the egg roll was the star of the meal.
