Really excited to find this place. The food reminds me of a great place we had in Dallas years ago. Pad Thai completely on point (we ordered a 2, could have done 3, but it probably would have hidden some of the other flavors). I've always loved their Rama dish, which is peanut based! It's what I go their for. They're in a new location, which...I'm personally not crazy about the decor, but it's alright. The most disappointing Thai I have had. Two stars because it was hot and fresh, maybe I ordered wrong for this business. I ordered Tom Yum soup and panang curry. At first I was very excited at the fair price point and ease of ordering. The soup was exceedingly salty and I could taste no lime, lime leaves, lemongrass or ginger. Every Tom yum soup I have had had tomatoes and cilantro. This did not. It had a slightly thick consistency and was sweet and quite spicy for the spice preference I gave. Over all I would not have been able to guess this was the correct soup ordered and was disappointed. The parang curry was also very spicy for the number given. It was very watery. I could see my spoon moving through it. It did not have the richness I would expect. It also had oil all over the top. I am guessing from chili oil. It was very non traditional. I am new to the area and will have to keep looking. Nothing like any of the Thai I have had around the world. read more

I give this place absolutely NO stars. Unfortunately I have to put at least one star. It is the WORST Thai restaurant ( if that's what you want to call it) I have ever been in. The food wasn't good the service was worse and I will NEVER set foot in there again. Usually when you go in a restaurant you are seated and the waiter takes your drink order. Not this place we were seated and he handed us 2 glasses of water without asking if we want a drink. After we ordered the waiter sat at the bar and turned his back on us. We were very pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. I love Thai food, eat it fairly often, and this place was as good as any in TN. I got the Sassy (pineapple) curry and Tom Kha soup. I'm giving 5 stars because everything I have ever had has been really tasty! Everything is fresh. Yes the atmosphere isn't great, but I am there for the food, not the pictures on the wall, nor do I care if Asian videos are on the tv. If you are a big fan of fried rice, the Thai Fried rice with chicken is the best! And it's a ton of food! If you need your veggies chopped small, you'd better tell the waiter. Also love the Chicken Lo Mein and the Pad Thai. I haven't had the Pho but I see it at every table! I never get spice so can't give an opinion on that. I have NEVER seen any fat on the chicken and never had a lack of flavor as mentioned in previous reviews. I think you should definitely try Thai Pattaya and decide for yourself! read more

I give 5 stars for the service, Brandon always takes great care of me and my girlfriend. If you want Drunken Noodles in the Boro then this is the place to get them. This is all I ever get but I have had them all over the Boro and these are the best by far. I've also had the peanut sauce noodles and they were ok. Tom Yum soup is good too, but their Drunken Noodles are where it's at. Spice is on a 1-5 scale and they don't water down the spice to cater to an American palette. If you don't do spice well then stick with 1 or 2. I stop at a three and get a little sweat on the brow but I don't want more spice. I'd say a 4 or 5 would start to get uncomfortable to very very hot. read more

We went there and got Pad Thai with tofu. It wasn't good at all. It was really soggy and tasteless and the tofu seems like it was cooked yesterday. I've been to the old location a few times and wasn't impressed but I thought I'd give it another try. The new location is really depressing. The server was good and very attentive.
