    Pho no noodles

I love Asian food! I go to this place at least once every two weeks. I went to lunch yesterday and can tell you they're the sweetest people with great service. They're accommodating to my diet. I had the pho hold the noodles. They don't just hand you a bowl of broth; they fill this thing full of protein! I'm sad I rushed to eat and didn't take more pictures. Their Thai tea is fantastic and their basil stir fry is awesome! I'm a little on spice, if you are too don't go beyond a level 2.

I got the recommendation to try King Noodles from a foodie page on Facebook. I wanted a low key Thai restaurant in my area, and that's exactly what I found in King Noodles. I was so excited to see they had fried ribs on the menu. They were amazing. Fried to perfection and still chewy. There is one waiter and one cook, but the service was quick and the food came out fast. This is the perfect spot to have lunch or dinner alone.

King Noodle has the best fried rice I've ever tasted. The flavor is perfect, the ingredients are fresh, and every bite feels like comfort. I always look forward to coming back because nobody makes fried rice like they do and the service was awesome.

Loved it! I definitely recommend it! I can't wait to come back and try their other dishes. Their tech time was very good. I had their Thai iced coffee and it was very good. I loved it very much. I also tried their beef pho. They did really good on it. The broth was very delicious, and it also had different types of meats in it (sliced raw beef, beef tendon, tripe, and meatball). They also had all of the condiments and garnish for you. I liked that a lot. I also tried their drunken noodle. It was soooooooo so good. They used fresh noodles, the char was there, and the flavor was magnificent. Service: it was good. Our server did a great job. She was very friendly, polite, and informative. The restaurant was also very clean. I liked that a lot. I will definitely be back to try other dishes. I am so glad they opened up. It's hard to find Lao food in the area, and I'm not that far from that area at all.

I've had about six different dishes/soups/appetizers and all of the food was great. Service is friendly. It's a strip mall place with strip mall ambiance but 100% worth the drive from anywhere in Murfreesboro. Really good Thai food at good prices.

Chicken pad kee mao level 3

I got the jalapeño wings and pad kee mao with chicken on level 3 spice. The chicken was ok. It was more like the jalapeños and onions were cooked separately from the chicken and then just added on top. It didn't taste like they were tossed together. The pad kee mao was very good. It was the best pad kee mao I've had in a long time. Spice level 3 was pretty average to me as well. I could go for a 4 next time.

    Pad Thai!!

This review is for the three times I've eaten here at King Noodles. The first time I had my go-to Thai restaurant dish, Pad Thai with chicken. It was SO good! It was the best I've ever had and I've had it many times from CA to CO to TN. The amount of sauce was perfect and it was perfectly spiced at my request of level 3. I had the Thai Iced tea each time. It is delicious! The second time I had pad Thai because I usually give in and not order something else even though I want to try something else. I dined in all three times and the service was perfect! You get an ice cold pitcher of water every time. I nice touch. Again the pad Thai was so so good! I think about this place, this food, a couple times a week so I went last night and this time I got the drunken noodles. Oh my goodness it was amazing! It was saucy, had generous chicken pieces and mushrooms. The carrots, onion and green pepper pieces were impressive. It has Thai basil in it and that takes this dish over the top! The wide, thin noodles are what this dish had and should have. Chef's kiss! My dining buddy had pad see ew The prices are very reasonable, the portions are big, the restaurant is clean and the temp of the food was hot! The owner/chef came out to see how we liked his creations and we enjoyed talking to him! People say the location is iffy. It is perfect. It's across from Publix and next to an oriental market. I'm not sure what people expect but some of the best food is prepared in places like this and it's certainly true here. I don't write many reviews but this place is worthy of the time. Check them out, you'll love it!

Tried King Noodles Thai Restaurant on 3/13 at 3pm. The location is across the street from Publix on south Rutherford where Pho viet used to be. Not a customer in there. Owner was very sweet. Had some questions about an ingredient in a dish, she was happy to replace it with an alternative . Ordered a Thai tea to drink. It was good. Not super sweet like other places. Ordered Pho beef, Ginger jalapeños salt pepper chicken wings, a side of Lao spicy tomato sauce and sticky rice. -Pho beef was great. Had sliced beef, beef tendon, beef tripe and meat balls. More of a Thai/Lao style pho. Had good flavor without condiments added. Added hoisin, lime and sriracha to my liking of sour and hot. Good amount of beef and noodles. Was actually full off of that, had to take the wings home. Lol - ginger Jalapeños salt pepper wings were fire! Came out hot and crispy. Were very juicy. Very good flavor. I ordered a side of Lao tomato dipping sauce and sticky rice. Not super hot,but it was packed full of flavor. Take a bite of the wings, dip your sticky rice in to the sauce , and enjoy the flavors together! I'll be back again to try some of the other dishes!

What a nice surprise. I was confident I had been to all of Murfreesboro's pho establishments and came across this place. The quality, taste and service 10 out of 10. Will definitely be back!

We ordered the green bean salad, fried meatballs, Firecracker Shrimp, 505 fried chicken skins, and chicken Pad Thai, along with a green Thai tea. The green bean salad at level 3 spice was perfect--just the right amount of heat with a fresh, crunchy texture that made every bite enjoyable. The Firecracker Shrimp definitely lived up to its name with a nice kick, while the fried meatballs were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft with a pleasant chew on the inside. Both paired wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce served alongside them. The 505 fried chicken skins were another standout. They had the perfect crunch and the seasoning added just enough spice to keep you reaching for another piece. To cool things down, I ordered the green Thai tea, which was sweet, refreshing, and the perfect complement to all the spicy dishes. The chicken Pad Thai is always a favorite. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is generous enough to enjoy for a second meal later. Our server was Jaylin and she was ate five and came by to check in to make sure we didn't need anything! The cafe has a laid back atmosphere. Each time, he kept saying "just five more minutes." Eventually, he went into the kitchen, and the chef came out and started speaking to me in a very rude tone. When I tried again to ask how much longer I needed to wait for an order that had been placed an hour earlier, he didn't even listen to me, cut me off mid-conversation, and walked away. Their behavior was extremely unprofessional, unfriendly, and disrespectful. This is not something I will forget, and I'm sure they treat other customers the same way. They should understand that this is the United States, where customer service truly matters, and it's the customers who give value and credibility to a business. Based on their behavior, it honestly felt like I wasn't in the U.S., but somewhere with very poor customer service standards.

The plaza the restaurant was in was on the nicer side compared to regular strip malls, so we hoped for some good warm rice noodle soup. The place only had a few people in there, but given the fact it was a rainy day, that was expected. We were seated pretty quickly and our server got our drink orders. I had the mango milk tea with sago, and my partner had the taro mild tea with sago. I'm not sure why it happens to her drink orders, but every so often, they will have boba balls in her drinks when she didn't want them; this place was no exception. We are sad to report the flavor of these teas are quite bland. You will only get a hint of the flavor you ordered. We both ordered the golden hot and sour rice noodle soup, a side of sausage skewers, and a side of shrimp rice noodle rolls. The soup was a big disappointment. The flavor was ok at best, but all the textures were off, and the rice noodles appear to be a bit soggy when it was brought out. Neither of us finished our soups with close to half of each of our bowls left. The shrimp rice noodle rolls were a surprise. Normally, they are full shrimps inside the rolls, but at this location it was made with cooked shrimp paste. The taste was ok, but again, odd texture. The sausage skewers were a sad joke: they were two longer beef hot dogs that were fried up and served with ketchup... I am not kidding you. I didn't know what to say. We had a long drive ahead of us, so we did a double order of the popcorn chicken to go when we placed our initial order. The flavor was ok, but it had no crisp at all. At least there was some fried basil in the flavor profile. We are sad to say, we did not enjoy our visit here. I'm not sure how it has a 4.3 rating, or if being from LA has spoiled us and gave us too high of expectations for these kinds of foods.
