This is my absolute favorite spot and for one reason which I will get to shortly. The parking is not the best and they stay packed but it's because it's so good. My first time, I got an appetizer and dish. After the appetizer, I knew that would be my forever dish. No matter where I travel no one else makes this dish. I do the boneless chicken with ginger and when I say it's amazing. I have ordered two, one for now and one for later. As I mentioned, it's not a large spot but definitely worth it. My only draw back is the cheese wontons have bacon and I don't eat pork.

I can't say enough great things about Pad Thai! From the warmness of the servers to the amazing food it's become one of my absolute faves!

This is my favorite Thai restaurant in Murfreesboro. Everything I've tried so far has been fantastic, but my go-to is the Pad Thai with chicken. If you haven't tried Pad Thai Cafe yet, I highly recommend adding it to your list!

My bf is an MTSU grad and him & his family always drive the long stretch from Franklin to Murfreesboro and back to get celebratory meals from Pad Thai Cafe. I love it so much, they got it for my birthday celebration this year. Our go-to orders for 4-6 people include: * 2 orders of the dynamite chicken wings (level 2 heat/spice) - literally the best flavored wings I've ever had - they are a hit with everyone! * 2 orders of the drunken noodles with beef (level 2) * Thai fried rice - chicken * Pad Thai with shrimp * Pad Sew Ew with beef (level 2) * Occasionally, spring rolls And - we are usually given complimentary ginger dressing salads and fortune cookies. We call ahead and pick up, and the staff are always so kind and helpful to package things well for us. FYI - if you order the dynamite wings to go, ask them to line the box with aluminum foil because the heat of the wings sometimes melts the styrofoam. I honestly would love it if they got more eco-friendly and human-friendly packaging - we found some shreds of aluminum foil mixed in our food, which was unpleasant. I can't not give them 5 stars though, so worthy of it! The ambiance inside for those visiting is very dimly lit, calming, and a bit tight/cramped. They have an adjacent food market that's worth a visit if you have a wait. Hands down the best quality Thai in Middle Tennessee - from Franklin, Nashville, Murfreesboro, this is our #1 spot! There is plenty of parking in this shared plaza lot.

This is a "small" spot. 3 booths and about 5 two people tables. They also have a small bar area. Parking outside is limited as it's shared with other businesses. No reservations so depending on the time of day, just be prepared for a short wait. Their service is amazing, fast & concise. They have menus as well as QR codes for digital one. The food it's always great and comes out relatively quick. The taste is in point. Everything we've had it's amazing and as authentic as you'll find it. Just know they mean it with the spicy level. They don't play with it. Definitely a must try!

Crab Rangoon! Couldn't find the crab though.

Tried Pad Thai Cafe for the first time last night! My sister recommended it and said she has frequented their restaurant since moving to the 'Boro. The place is a cute little trendy spot located in a small retail center off the main road. My husband and I each ordered the Thai tea for drinks and wanted to give their crab Rangoon a try. Keep in mind it's not the typical crab Rangoon with cream cheese and crab. Theirs has mozzarella cheese and bacon for the filling, definitely a different take on the traditional dish! I love the wonton wrappers they use, just wish they had an option for the cream cheese/crab filling cause I was missing that. For our dinner we ordered the pork pad Thai with Phanaeng curry and fried rice. Everything was delicious and fresh! Highly recommend all three dishes. The quality of pork they use is great! Overall we enjoyed everything from the food to the service we received. Will definitely be back for more! They also own the Asian grocery store next door so make sure to stop by there and check out what they have!

Lao Cucumber Salad - Tum Tang

I was really craving Som Tum but they were out of papaya the day I went. I settled for the Lao Cucumber salad aka Tum Tang and ordered it spice level 6 out of 5. I had two different staff come out and ask if I really wanted it that spicy. Yes. I did. I came out perfectly spicy for me. It went really well with the Lao Sausage with Sticky Rice. Both were unexpected finds in Tennessee. I enjoyed the lime based jeow sauce that came with the sausage. I mixed it with the cabbage, carrots and fried garlic that came with the sausage and ate it like a salad. Overall the food was delicious and authentic. Nice and clean interior. I would give it 5 stars but I'm taking away one because they charged $2 for the extra spice level without telling me before hand that there would be an upcharge. It's the little things sometimes.

The ONLY thing holding me back from 5 stars was the fact that they never brought me sauce for my spring roll, otherwise everything was fantastic! The best pad se ew I've had in the boro so far, their pad thai is also exceptional! Very cozy blue hue inside the restaurant makes me feel like I'm in blade runner when I eat here. A great spot to eat!

I love visiting Murfreesboro for Pad Thai Cafe's salt & pepper tofu and those cozy, chill vibes. They give portions that will fill you up. Their staff is so kind! I wish they could be in every city I visit.

Wow, a hidden GEM! Amazing and authentic Thai/Laos cuisine. Drunken noodles and pad Thai noodles were some of the best I've ever had! They were so so flavorful and juicy and I was so impressed. Every bite was amazing. On the drunken noodles, they put fresh cucumbers on top and I really enjoyed that. If you like crab rangoons, you have to get them here! They're in a thin wrapper fried but the filling is so smooth and tasty. Also one of the best crab rangoons I've ever had! They do have bacon in them and thats probably the special ingredient. I also go the shrimp Tom yum soup and they give big pieces of shrimp. The Tom Yum was delicious, hot and a little sour, lots of lemongrass.

Pad Thai Cafe is my most favorite restaurant in all of Murfreesboro! I absolutely love every dish on the menu, but have about Five favorites that I lean towards because of the amazing flavors. I so wish that I could cook Thai/Lao food this well. I have been coming here for the entire 14 years of living in Murfreesboro and have introduced so many people to this place, because you want to share the things you love with others. The service has always been top notch! Tommy is an amazing chef and Christian always makes you smile and feel at home. All of the staff are great. I also love the comfortable ambience of the restaurant, it feels like you've walked into your own home! The only thing that stinks is when you are one of the ones waiting to get in because it is such a hot spot now, that it gets packed quickly and often! But it's always worth the wait!!!

As soon as I walked in I was greeted, my drink order was taken and I was reading a menu, right away I knew I had to try the Thai basil fried chicken with fried rice. I was soooooooo right! Hahaha! Because everything was cooked to order I had to wait which was fine as I was done driving for the day. When my food finally arrived the smell made me so happy, now I don't usually make happy sounds when I'm eating but I'm almost sure that I was this day. LOL! The chicken was perfectly seasoned, the breading was light yet crispy and the bed of pickled veggies were an excellent addition. I think it came with six pieces of chicken, and the fried rice was a small up charge but well worth it. Light, fluffy, full or flavor, not oily and enough to take some home for later. This was the first time that I get the option to select the milk in the Thai Iced Tea and I loved that. I opted for the coconut milk and it gave the drink an amazing creamy consistency. The curry puffs were packed with flavor, they are a great option to share with the table since they are vegan. The crab Rangoons were crispy, cheesy in the middle, and the homemade sweet & sour sauce complemented it very well. For the main course I went with the Beef Drunken Noodles level 2 in spice level. The flat rice noodles were soft coated in a savory brown sauce that paired really good with the broccoli, basil, peppers, onion, and jalapeños. Overall I was very satisfied with everything and plan to be back.

First time the service was horrendous the food was borderline and nothing appears to be authentic Thai. After the waiter kid stared at my plates on the kitchen window for about 10 minutes he finally brought them to me I'm sitting at the bar watching him watch my food motionless also apparently needing a reboot. The noodles on the plate were one solid clump that I picked up with my fork in one go and the green Thai curry was terrible. There is also no excuse for such pathetic service when there was maybe 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant. I was stuck in the restaurant an hour and a half due to completely oblivious and incompetent employees. When I eat out by myself I would normally get in and out of a restaurant within 30 minutes (45 minutes would be a long stay) today I walk in and take a seat to wait for my to go order, the waitresses is standing in the doorway of the kitchen with a plate and a massive smile on her face with a blind stare in her eyes standing motionless seriously like the main frame needs to be rebooted or something. The young kid is helping people at the entrance, the waitress is still standing in the same place it has now been about seven minutes still standing motionless and apparently clueless on what to do with her plate. I find out she is waiting for The young waiter helping people at the front to instructor on which table the food goes to... at this point there are only 3 tables occupied in the restaurant. If this place doesn't hire experienced management, waiters and waitresses they will end up closed/bankrupt like all the other restaurants before them in that spot.

We ordered the green bean salad, fried meatballs, Firecracker Shrimp, 505 fried chicken skins, and chicken Pad Thai, along with a green Thai tea. The green bean salad at level 3 spice was perfect--just the right amount of heat with a fresh, crunchy texture that made every bite enjoyable. The Firecracker Shrimp definitely lived up to its name with a nice kick, while the fried meatballs were cooked perfectly--crispy on the outside, soft with a pleasant chew on the inside. Both paired wonderfully with the sweet chili sauce served alongside them. The 505 fried chicken skins were another standout. They had the perfect crunch and the seasoning added just enough spice to keep you reaching for another piece. To cool things down, I ordered the green Thai tea, which was sweet, refreshing, and the perfect complement to all the spicy dishes. The chicken Pad Thai is always a favorite. The noodles have that perfect chewy texture, and the portion size is generous enough to enjoy for a second meal later. Our server was Jaylin and she was ate five and came by to check in to make sure we didn't need anything! The cafe has a laid back atmosphere.
