Excellent service on Saturday night. My Basil Chicken was very good. It came out hot and freshly prepared. But I made an ordering mistake--I ordered "mild" spice. I don't want full "Thai spice" but the dish needed some more spiciness to bring out the flavors. That was my fault. Next time, I will go for medium spice and recommend you do the same. read more

Placed an order from work ahead of time but asked if could pick up 40 minutes later when I got off work, they said that would be fine. When I arrived the girl at the front was pretty unfriendly and not welcoming at all. The food was actually quite awful, cold and greasy and the absolute worst crab Rangoon I have ever had. From the temperature I am guessing they made my food as soon as I ordered and had been sitting there for 40 minutes. The portion of pad Thai was tiny for the price. Terrible service and experience and will never be coming back again. read more

We had such a great time at Thai Garden! We ordered their thai iced tea, crab rangoon, beef pad thai, and beef pad see ew. Everything was delicious! In fact, this is the best beef we've ever had at a Thai restaurant. I only marked down one star because of the portion sizes. At other Thai restaurants we've received larger portions of each dish for similar prices. Regardless the meal was filling and fulfilling and we would definitely return! We ordered takeout so can't comment on service or ambiance but our meal was ready for pick up pretty quickly! read more

Ordered take out online, said 20 min. Arrived 30 min later and they said they are just. It will take another 15 min. Asked if we can just eat it there in the restaurant since we have to wait for the order. The host and servers were very confused and did not know how to accommodate. After some discussing; host said we can be seated and she will bring our take out order to us and we can eat it. We even explained that it was ok, it didn't need to be plated, we can eat it from take out containers, but if we can get plates to eat. That seemed like a big inconvenience. A Server came to our table and seemed confused as well and said we cannot sit there if we aren't eating in, we said we are. It's just that we had already ordered food and were waiting for it. Server didn't ask us if we wanted drinks or needed anything and it was the nice host that brought us some drinks. She ignored us like we weren't paying guests. Food was ok. Place is clean, little cluttered and dated. read more

This place is so cute! My friend and I went today for early dinner and for appetizers we ordered crab rangoon which was very flavorful and a good size. I had lad nar with chicken and he had roast duck curry (could use a little bit more duck)- both pretty authentic. The waiter was friendly and convinced me to get something to drink too so we had taro bubble tea. Good portion size for the food and able to take leftovers. Will be back! read more

Today is not just about the restaurant. It's about an individual that works with the restaurant. PATTITA Is most amazing wonderful caring staff member of this restaurant. She sent me down made sure I had everything I needed checked up on me making sure if I need sauce napkins refill a great smile making sure the rest of the restaurant is clean . After I eat my dinner, I told her I enjoy doing reviews online that I need to know her name because I will be leaving a most wonderful review. She looked at me very stunned. Biggest smile came over her face. She asked if my name was Adam. My name is Adam once she knew that she was correct. She jumped up and down several times. Very thankful to me. Very excited to meet me. She believed I was. ADAM RICHMAN. At first, I did not know that she thought I was this man I did not understand she was too excited she took pictures of me. She was honored to meet me regardless how she thought who I was she still before she knew it treated me most excellent I was honored and happy this restaurant has such a staff member. I will be back there many more times I do actually go there to pick up for DoorDash and Uber eats. It's funny, she thought I was Adam Richman, and my name is Adam and years ago I actually drove him around in a limousine for a company that when the stars come into town, I was picked to take care of them. I hope he one day finds out about this, and he goes and visits her. It would be a great honor for her. At the time I did not know what to do I did not truly know who she thought I was I suspected because she said I have over 300,000 followers when I actually in Facebook I may have only 800 friends and I don't even know half of them. She was so happy that day I did not want to break her heart. Whoever she thought I was made her feel good and she should keep that with her. I did leave the restaurant called one of my other friends that DOOR DASHis and he told me that she believes from what he understands that I am Adam Richman. it's so crazy, but I could not tell her. I could not break her heart let her have her moment. I will let her know The next time I see her, I must sit her down and explain it would only be fair to her but I want her to know I feel very special not about her thinking I was him the way she treated me before and also the way she treated me after. On the plus side I enjoy the restaurant best Thai food that I have had in the area. From the restaurant staff they feel like family they care they take care of you. They keep it very clean. Also wearing gloves this place has been around a long time I even ate there when I was younger. I still have a picture of me sitting in a booth. I recommend this place to all, especially the people visiting Chicago at the hotel come to the restaurant or just order in. read more

Hands down one of the most comforting and delicious green curry dishes I've had, especially in the burbs! In a world that currently prioritizes the vibe, I appreciate the mom and pop shops that focus on the quality of the food. I visited twice in a 3 day period for just the green curry and I can't wait to come back and try more dishes! read more

I don't think I have anything bad to say about Thai Garden. The food is gorgeous, the service is fast, and it's incredible portions and the cost is just right! If you go for lunch, you get a healthy portion for the right price. I love their Penang or their Basil Chicken. It's not bland and they can create all the spice you want, as little or as much as you like it HOT HOT HOT! Their white rice is not overly dry either. They're very fast, too! You're in and out in less than an hour for lunch, which is great because sometimes I need to get away and don't have all day. It's really a great and clean environment. I love coming here. read more

Really enjoyed my meal here. The staff was amazingly friendly and observant on what we needed. The chicken Tom yum soup was really good- some of the best I had. Could have done without the tomatoes. The large more than feeds 3 people. Cashew chicken was good, chicken fried rice was good but would go for the curry or basil one next time. Egg rolls were decent- very crisp but inside could use more flavor. Garlic shrimp was surprisingly good. read more

I'm giving 3 stars because I did not like the Pod Thai or the yukky egg roll or the Peanut sauce which was all we ordered for take out our first here. The restaurant looks nice & the host np. But what a disappointment that Pad Thai & side of peanut sauce was. I liked the Tom Ka soup and so did my partner but the Pad Thai & Peanut sauce still sitting in fridge uneaten because it was yukky. read more

I ordered through door dash and put specific instructions in the order not to make any of the food spicy. It arrived and I couldn't even swallow one bite as it was incredibly spicy. I called the restaurant and the female employee argued with me that the Dish is called Spicy Beef. I replied I know and have been coming here and getting delivery for years and have always asked it be made mild and it was never a problem, ever. They also forgot to give me rice for the meal. I asked for a full refund and she told me to get it from door dash. Door Dash will only refund the delivery, not the cost of the food. I told her I like a full refund again and she had to go and would call me later......WHO DOES THAT? NEVER AGAIN read more

Yummy! I haven't had Thai food in such a long time and after exploring the surrounding area, my fiancé and I decided to try this place out. Service is excellent. We were greeted at the front door and our waitress was delightful. We told her that we wanted spicy dishes and she recommend we get 3x the spice level. If you love spicy food, I highly recommend you try the curries with the highest spice level; it's creamy, mouthwatering delicious. We had the Pad Thai and the Panang Curry for our main dishes and the chicken satay as an appetizer. The Pad Thai was a bit too sweet for my liking but the satay came with an insanely delicious peanut sauce. We ended up ordering more of the peanut sauce to eat with our main dishes. Prices are a tad bit steep for the area, but I guess this is the new norm. Highly recommend, till next time! read more

I went here to celebrate a friend's birthday and it was a pretty nice vibe. I got the Pad Thai and it was okay. The sauce was not the best and the noodles were pretty good. There was not enough tofu given, so it was mainly just noodles which I didn't enjoy. The vibe of the restaurant is nice especially if you get a booth. Overall, not the best Thai place I have had, but it could be worth trying if you are in the area. read more

I've had the fortune of ordering Thai Garden a few times during the pandemic. The food is just as delicious as it's always been, with similar portion sizes and reasonable prices. I'm in love with the beef satay, love the crab rangoon, and their green curry tops the "favorite dish" list of multiple friends of mine. I'm also a huge fan of their pad Thai. In terms of the staff, they are all nice and helpful, but I've never received (or expected) the 'typical American server' experience in an authentic restaurant. Staff has always been nice, but more reserved/introverted, versus the exuberant/extroverted typical American server. On more than one occasion, I have done a pickup order to take it to friends who live 45+ minutes away. Keep being awesome! I love you guys! read more

Food was hot, fast, fresh. Just basic Asian though, nothing special. We ordered pad Thai and did not indicate heat. It was sweet and didn't have any spice at all. If I'd known it would be so sweet, I would've asked for heat. Crab Rangoon was tiny, sweet, and I wasn't a fan. read more

We have been frequenting this place for many years but this is the first time I am writing a review. Decided to go here for their lunch special as we like what we get for the amount we are paying. We have also done dinner many times as well as carryout. I do feel a small order of carryout with them is much better than larger order. Also, they get super busy Fri/Sat/Sun with carryout orders so I would definitely avoid it on those evenings. Our general preference is to go there and eat during their lunch special or for dinner. All their lunch specials are served with your choice of steamed rice or vegetable fried rice, vegetable Tom Yum soup (spicy) or vegetable Tofu soup (mild), and a regular Egg Roll or a vegetarian Egg Roll. Pad Thai Meals do not come with rice. Lunch Specials are served Monday thru Saturday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. There is only indoor dining. Per rules, they are following all covid protocols. This time for the lunch special we decided to get: Spicy Chicken meal - this is super flavorful chicken cooked in spices, onion and celery. It comes with steamed or fried rice. We chose fried rice here. This curry has no coconut milk. You can choose how hot you would like your food - 1 hot or 2 hot. We chose 1 hot and it was perfect for the spice level we like. The second dish we got was Penang Tofu Meal. The tofu is lightly fried and has a good bite. There is also onions and bell pepper in a creamy coconut curry. Since there is coconut milk in this dish that can add a bit of sweetness, I chose 2 hot as the spice level and it was perfect. There is good quantity of food that you can finish in one sitting and/or take home depending on your appetite. Overall you can't go wrong with their lunch specials. If you have never been, it's a great time to go and try this place. read more

I like this place and have been there very often. The ambiance is nice and friendly reception at front desk. The food is really good hardly fail my expectations. I can't say much about the bathrooms coz I hardly dine-in. I don't dine in not because I don't have time but because the several times I dine in the waitress never put on a smile. I am there to have a good time with friends but the mood changes each time the waitress comes along. And on top of this I have to pay a tip to a non happy waitress. read more

Love the chicken sauté and crab rangoon. Typically order for take out as the restaurant itself can use some updating.

Came here 02/15/21 for lunch by myself. I was chilled from artic weather and needed a hot spicy pick me up. It worked! The soup was bursting with exotic flavors that left me ceaving for more and mire until I damn near ate the entire pit if it. And it was a huge pit that came with its own fire to keep it hot! Vegtable dish was delicious and I took leftovers home. It was empty when I xame here 2:30 on a weekday. Waitress was very friendly and professional and great service. Its a very casual, clean, ordinary restaurant and not 'fancy'. When I'm hungry and cold fancy makes no difference. read more
