We love coming here... everyone is so sweet and nice. We prefer dining in and wow the food comes out piping hot and stays hot. So I know if you're planning on taking it home it will still be hot. They have a lot of delicious menu items to choose from so I usually ask for recommendations when I am placing my order. One of the things I always try to get is a vegetable egg roll. They're so delicious but boy do they stay temperature hot a long time. Sometimes I have to break it open and eat it last.. but so yummy!! My daughter is a really picky eater, and she really loves coming here and having the fortune cookies. The prices are good and you really don't wait that long to get your food if you dine in. We decided to eat there and waited awhile for the soups, but that gave me the impression they made them per order, and the taste pretty much confirmed it. The chicken egg foo young was tasty and fresh. The large portion came with four sizeable pieces with rice. Two pieces were enough to fill me up. We love Chinese food and decided to try New China Chef because it had better ratings than our current place. The ratings were correct, it's better than all the other places we have tried. None of the dishes are overloaded with soy sauce, the beef is tender, the shrimp are cooked pperfect. The interior is not impressive, but we pick up to eat at home. read more

I just can't say never again enough times. This place is dirty. Unorganized and rude. They tell me the food would be ready in half an hour. I wind up waiting another thirty minutes when I get there to pick my food up. The woman behind the counter is short with people. The food is nothing special and I think someone would have to pay me to eat here again. The egg rolls were dripping with grease. Took one bite and threw it away. Waste of money. The fried rice has a strange smokey and old grease flavor. Yuck!!! I thought I would try this spot because it was close to my home. Next time I will drive to Iowa if I have to before I eat here. Please don't let me get hepatitis A, B, and C eating here. I am feeling sick to my stomach and have only taken a few bites. At least this food will help me start my diet tomorrow. read more

This has been my go to Chinese place for a couple of years now. Food has always been hot and fresh and tender. I usually get the Mongolian beef, it's delicious. It's a small take-out place with really good food however, the challenge is they don't seem to be open as stated on their menu or even the times posted on the door of their restaurant. This is super frustrating especially when you try to phone in an order and there is no out going message. It just rings on end. Not being reliable is not a good thing. Like others have mentioned, the owners are nice and kind, food is tasty and plentiful but please please update your voice mail to at least advise customers the is an unexpected closure for the day. We've tried a variety of their dishes and have loved all of them. Their egg rolls are my favorite of all. The Lo Mein is super tasty and Pepper Beef is delicious. My mother will eat their Chicken Kow and that is saying something. They are my go to spot to satisfy my boba smoothie cravings too. We're super picky with our Chinese food and they never fail to surpass our expectations. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. The only real downside is that they don't deliver. We are big Chinese fans and we try everything around. For some reason we did'n't try this place for 3 years after we moved here. Now we go about once a week. Some things are a little non-traditional but still good. Other things are traditional and fantastic. I tell my wife, if they can't do a good lo-mein they shouldn't be in business. Both the chicken and beef lo-mein are awesome. General two is excellent. Egg rolls and crab rangoon are wonderful. Kung pow, sweet and sour, sesame chicken: all great. Egg fu yung is different but good. I'd skip the wonton soup, but my mother-in-law likes it. Definitely worth a visit. I've only just found this restaurant, despite having lived in the area for over eight years! I didn't know what I'd been missing! This probably does a majority of its business as takeout, as there are probably only six or seven tables inside. I ate in, and the woman serving us was so friendly and attentive. I have a feeling she may be the owner! The food was amazing! My six-year-old loved the beef satay sticks and crab rangoon. I also liked the crab rangoon, egg drop soup, and beef fried rice. The lady at the front is super nice. Always friendly and fun to talk to. General tsos and the beef n broc are staples in our house and they are generally really good from here. The last time we ordered however, we were somewhat disappointed. The Tsos tasted more like orange chicken, and the beef n broc as well as the beef fried rice were extremely bland. One bad order out of ten or so is understandable to me, especially since covid is affecting so many businesses. Their prices are super fair here compared to other chinese takeouts (such as silver lake which is about 5 dollars more per dish sometimes) and we will continue to eat here! read more
