I've had multiple bad experiences with carry-out orders from here because of the packaging. They use plastic lids that are not safe for hot food. The food often ends up smelling and tasting like melted plastic, which completely ruins the meal. On top of that, the plastic lids are frequently warped or partially melted, so they don't even close properly. This causes spills, leaks, and makes the food feel unsanitary by the time it gets home.

This used to be the best Chinese food my family ever had, but it has really gone down in recent years. Flavors have become pretty bland with increased prices. The eggrolls we got were soo peppery they made a few of us cough while eating them. Their portions sizes have gotten much smaller and the amount of meat they give is insufficient for the price. I used to always rave about this place being one of the best Chinese restaurants I've ever been to, but that doesn't seem to reflect their current standards. Much sadness indeed.

Such a bummer. Everything on the menu looked great and I wasn't put off by the reviews that mentioned bad service (that usually means the food is good!). We stopped for dinner on a busy Friday night but got seated right away. We had well over 15 minutes at the table before anyone came to take a drink/food order. We got the appetizer sampler, mu shu pork, spicy eggplant and one cocktail. The food took a normal amount of time to come out (the robot is cute) but nothing tasted that good. The sampler was $17 and might not be worth that with double the food. My eggplant was soggy and the tortillas (not thin house made pancakes) for the mu shu pork were cold. We took most of it to go but when it first came out, I ordered a smoothie. We finished our food, boxed it to go, paid the bill and still waited ANOTHER 15min for the smoothie. Ridiculous. The food isn't good enough to put up with service THAT bad.

I have been coming here for many years. Yus has never failed me. Yus is very very consistent with food. Ambiance - good. Nothing to complain about. Service - good. Food - delicious. Extremely vegeterian friendly. Allow us to go off menu with salt and pepper tofu. Food comes out hot and quick. The chili oil is so delicious, I always purchase extra to take home.

I ordered the beef and scallop dish. It was excellent.

Last night I went out with several friends celebrating two birthdays. We had dinner at this location. It is so much better than the Vernon Hills location. I have not been to the Schaumburg location in a few years, but their quality still is fabulous. We had a table of nine and our server's name was Rei. He did an amazing job! There were a lot of requests and he managed our table very well. The quality of food was excellent. I stepped away from our table and asked.Rei if Yu's offered anything for birthdays. He said they could provide free ice cream. After we finished dinner and boxed up our leftovers, Rei and another female waitress brought out the two ice cream dishes with a lighted candle in each. Tbey helped us sing happy birthday! It was a wonderful evening and.Rei did a wonderful job!

I don't get here like we used to when we lived in the area. But the food is still really good, the service is good and they now have a robot as well. It still a great experience and above much above average Chinese food. If you have never been you are missing g out. They have some of the good stuff in the Chinese language menu in the back.

Really good food. I loved the taste of the noodles, lots of flavor. The waiters came around a bunch to fill up our waters but I felt as though they were rushing for us to put our food order in as soon as we sat down. But I love how the customers can see right through into the kitchen, definitely really cool.

Always excellent quality food made fresh and served hot. Service is always great and food is served fast! Great place for lunch, dinner and meeting up with friends.

Great food, variety of dishes. Open kitchen concept is cool too. Service is excellent too! Big parking lot is convenient!

Best Singapore noodles around. Smoothie menu leaflet on the table and we had Taro and Mango. Orange chicken was good. I would skip the sesame chicken (very syrupy bland similar sauce over bean threads) and skip the scallops and beef (would be good for someone with a mild palate and the shiitake mushrooms were dense and hard to chew). Eggrolls (2) come with big syrup pourers of sweet sour and fried pot stickers come with 2 big bowls of dipping sauce and hot oil red pepper sauce. Prices were reasonable.

A beloved Chinese restaurant in the Northwest suburbs of Chicago, Yu's Mandarin serves up a large variety of Chinese and Chinese-Korean dishes in a large banquet room. It serves larger parties pretty well, with decent prices and large servings. We've found the food to be good most of the time, and on this Sunday night, it was quite good in quality and quantity, especially for the really low prices. Yu's has multiple locations across the Chicagoland area, but the location in Schaumburg was its first, opening in 1983 (later moving across the street to this location). My wife's family used to frequent it quite a bit, and she was the one that introduced me to Yu's while we were dating, many years ago. My uncle's family now frequents it monthly, so it was a good location to meet up with him on a Sunday night. I made a reservation for 7 for early dinner, and we were able to get one of their round tables with a large Lazy Susan, perfect for dining family style. The food started coming out as it was prepared. We ordered three classic Chinese Korean dishes for us to share: Jajangmyeon (called Peking Noodle on the menu for $10.50), Tangsuyuk (called Sweet and Sour Pork for $16.95), and two Jjamppong (called Noodle Soup w/3 delight for $15.95 each). We added Sesame Chicken ($14.95), Double Pan fried noodles with seafood ($14.95), and double stir fried string beans ($13.50). Everything was really good. My aunt is pretty honest about her food thoughts (she's earned it), and she said all the dishes were good (in quantity and taste), though she wished the jjamppong had more seafood. The jajangmyeon came out with pickled radish and raw white onion, enough for everyone. Conversation came to a halt as all of us concentrated on our food. My daughter and her husband really enjoyed each dish as well, especially the tangsuyuk. I really liked the smokiness of the green beans, and the jjamppong broth was solid, just hot enough for me to induce a sweat but not too hot to make it hurt. Hot tea was constantly served throughout. We had eaten together as a family one year ago, but at the Vernon Hills location (which is still temporarily closed). Glad we went to the OG location this time.

My wife, her mom, and I were in Chicago to remember my father-in-law's death anniversary, and my sister-in-law chose Chef Ping's, for our party of nine for a Wednesday lunch. Parking is plentiful and the dining area can seat a lot. We got seated at a large round table in the back room, with a large lazy susan (just need to remember to spin it very slowly). We ordered a lot, and the food came out slowly. There was plenty of leftovers for the local folks to have for future meal or two. 3 Shrimp Toast (6 pieces each) - $26.85 - greasy but good, with the shrimp paste being a little sweet (in a good way) Noodle in Black Bean Sauce ($12.50) - this is jja jang myeon, which two of us had the previous night. It was OK, not near the top of the best I've had. Ping's Noodle Soup ($15.50) - the other classic Chinese-Korean dish, this is jjampong, a dish I've had many times. I was the only one to eat it, so ended up being my main dish. It was good, with thick noodles...just wish it had more seafood. Salt & Pepper Smelt ($16.90) - not sure if always available, but this was excellent...my favorite dish and one that I finished once I realized that everybody had their fill. It really depends on the quality of the smelt, which was excellent in this case. It was lightly battered, and carefully deep fried. Other dishes enjoyed by others: 2 Salt & Pepper Prawns - $35.90 - large head-on shell-on prawns fire wokked. Salt & Pepper Tofu ($11.50) - for the vegetarians Chicken Skewers (4) - $8.75 - tender and shareable Walnut Shrimp ($19.90) - mayo with shrimp Young Chow Fried Rice ($12.50) - fried rice is a necessity for our group Mongolian Beef ($17.50) - a classic 2 Sesame Ball (4) - $7 - a great way to finish a meal. 18% tip was automatically added, and service was OK throughout. Our water was kept refilled, and I think hot water was as well. It was a good meal and opportunity to get back together

Both the service and quality of food has gone way down from what they were famous for. The waitress spilled my tea, also dipped her finger in my tea, had no apology or offer to exchange it with a fresh cup. I had to ask her for a fresh cup of tea. Then the other server that brought our entrees spilled my husbands tea and again no offering to getting a fresh cup. We had to ask AGAIN for a fresh cup! While the portions were generous, the quality of all the food has gone way down. The special family recipe of thier shrimp dish Gan Pong is nothing but fried shrimp with dried chili peppers and no flavor. The Hunan spicy beef and chicken appeared to be all globs and sticky because of excessive and over use of corn starch used during the cooking process. This dish didn't have any unique flavor that one would expect. Previously we had experienced a difference in the food, taste and quality and that's what kept us returning. Sadly, after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to anyone or come back! I'd rather stick with Yu's Mandarin than drive to this place! Quality always wins over quantity in my books!

But one Friday we decided to give it a shot. We used to live near Chinatown in the city and were greatly missing good Szechuan food. While there are good Chinese places around Schaumburg, we were missing that numbing spicy flavor profile. But we found it here at Noodle Deli! I appreciate that you simply order your food on an app and you don't have to wait for your server, but we had pretty great service anyway. We were consistently checked in on and when our biang biang noodles came out, our server offered to mix it up while we focused on feeding our toddler. I will say, there aren't many options here for a toddler, or anyone who's wary of spicy foods. We went with the beef stew tofu which worked well enough and was not spicy, but this place isn't catering to people afraid of heat. The biang biang noodles were great - they had a good chew, and just the right amount of heat. We also got the cumin lamb which is a must get. It was savory, a little sweet from the peppers, not too gamey, and had us sweating. I will come back here for this dish alone. Ambience is alright...again, it's very weird the windows are all covered up, but there's some nice art on the wall. Overall we'll definitely be back, but will have to study the menu a bit more before coming to make sure our little one has something to munch on.
