First time trying! Had an orange chicken dinner with fried rice - delicious! Will definitely try again!

I've ordered from here for lunch twice now thru Foodsby while at my office. I've tried the General Tso's chicken & most recently, the Orange chicken. Both are excellent. I've had fried rice once & white rice the other time. The egg roll is delicious, packed with meat & veggies. I am particular about my egg rolls & I would say this is a top 5 contender, easily. And now let's talk about the value.... you CANNOT beat it. It's alot of food and easily 2 meals. Order an extra egg roll & share with someone and save yourself even more cash. But honestly... the price is excellent. I'm incredibly pleased, and my coworkers who nibbled off my recent meal to give it a try are actually currently viewing the menu as I write this so that they can order for lunch. is excellent. Prices are more reasonable than most. I never get that feeling of heaviness on my stomach or headaches like I do at other Chinese restaurants. This restaurant makes their food very healthy. NO MSG! I work in a doctors office, we order trays for parties, and everyone the office truly raves about their food! I found this restaurant on GrubHub, had fairly good reviews so decided to give them a try tonight at 8:20pm. Placed my order on GrubHub, then about 2min later I get a call from the store. They tell me that they have no more white rice. NO MORE RICE??? What Asian restaurant EVER runs out of white rice??? Ended up canceling the order and never getting to try them, and never will. If this place can't stock, and make, white rice at a moments notice, they are not worth trying in the first place. If they can't handle making white rice, no telling how the other food is and not worth testing it out with my $$$ read more

I've been ordering here from some time now. However, tonight I had a very disturbing transaction. Where I thought I ordered a Large House Egg Foo Young, they received an order for House Chop Suey (which I do not eat). When I explained that the order confirmation did not confirm for me what it was either way and that I did not intend to order it, no attempt was made to assist in the matter. No empathy or attempt to understand whatsoever! Very non customer friendly and I won't be back. Good luck! read more

Randomly wanted to try something new so upon looking at Apple Maps I found orange and chicken. Personally I love fried rice. I ordered a Beef and Shrimp fried rice as well as Orange Chicken It exceeded my expectations and was truly delicious! Very friendly staff and AMAZING cooks! Can't wait to go back again! read more

You really can't go wrong with this place. Their lunch offerings are very generous and incredibly well priced. I have had Kung Pao, Sweet and Sour, Singapore Noodles, General Tso, Curry, Mongolian BBQ and Fried Rice dishes - and the usual accompaniments of Egg Rolls. Fine dining it is not. But the food is tasty and quickly served. My favorites have been the General Tso and Singapore Noodles. Least favorites - probably the curries. They just lack any real punch or flavor. Personally - I would say if you are in the mood for Chinese take-away - give it a shot. If you are not sure, start with the lunch menu or the dinner menu choices since they include rice and an egg roll with each order. read more

There was a time I raved about this place. I thought the food was so good, I convinced coworkers, and family to try. The food was so good! I never felt overly full after eating. Fast forward to present, 4 separate times my family tried this place. 4 seperate times quality of food changed, and not for the better. I use to order from this location for work parties, the food was a hit. I have to say, I gave this place far too many more chances, in hope that it was just a fluke. I feel it may have changed ownership, they have different staff, or not the same chef. The times I called about the quality of food, or missing an item, I was met with the response, thank you for your input, or feed back. Today, gravy for Eggfoo young, not gravy, looks like beef broth. When called to find out, I was met with response, sometimes they try new recipes, thank you for your feed back. So I am officially finished ordering from this restaurant, and definitely will not recommend to anyone. read more

Honestly I love this restaurant. Solid every time. They have amazing prices and the food is the best in the area (aside from Asian Noodle House which specializes in Malay Chinese food) with your more traditional Chinese American dishes. read more

Great Oriental restaurant in the neighborhood, haven't been disappointed yet and at a good price.

Use to be called No.1 Kitchen. Menu has changed quite a bit. Staff is always friendly. Food portions for lunch specials are large. You'll get two meals out of it. Food is always good. I'll return in the future. read more

We found our new place for Chinese food!! Our other place had let us down the last few times so we were in search for a different one and I'd say we found it. Ordered beef fried rice - so tasty, egg roll - light and crispy outside, yummy inside, Mongolian beef - no leftovers!, shrimp egg foo young - big patties with big shrimp not those little tiny ones - and sesame chicken, kids loved. I got a mailer for Orange and Chicken in the mail yesterday. I knew I was going to be in the same shopping center today so I decided to give them a try. The place is really a carryout /delivery place, but there are two tables that could serve if you are stopping while on the road. But don't expect it to be very comfortable as the seats are pretty hard. Still, it is serviceable if you are in a hurry. I ordered the Mongolian beef lunch special. It was quite tasty! And it was spicier than most places serve this dish. I consider that a good thing. The specials come with an egg roll, choice of steamed or chicken fried rice and a can of soda. And there is a good variety of dishes offered for the special,all of them priced at $6.25. The portion was huge for a lunch! It might be sufficient for two people to share. I walked in and placed my order. I had my food and was on my way home within 5 minutes. I can't say it would always be this quick as I was there pretty early (like 11:30 am) and I was the only one in the restaurant. I was very happy with the meal. I'll need to try a few more dishes before deciding if I need to add or subtract a star. But I think you may want to give Orange and Chicken a try. read more

Heard about this place from one of my daughter's friends and thought we'd try it. Absolutely delicious, cheap and close to home!! The woman who took the order over the phone was super friendly and helpful. There was so much food....we are still eating it 2 days later. For $40 we got spring rolls, crab Rangoon, orange chicken, sesame chicken, Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice. The Mongolian beef and chicken fried rice were my favorites and the spring roll was light and not doughy like some places. Highly recommend! The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was because the orange chicken and sesame chicken tasted very similar...like they used the same sauce which actually, if you like sweet, was very good! I have been going to Orange & Chicken weekly for over two years and have always had great food. Today was different. I was eating my usual order of sweet & sour chicken. I had almost eaten the entire portion of chicken when I noticed a black line on the batter. When taking a closer look, it looked like a mouse's tail. I am very disappointed as I love the food, but after today, never am I coming back. I cannot think of eating here again after seeing this rodent in my food. read more

I have tried a couple different Chinese type places and so far this one is the best. Huge portions and it tastes pretty good too. The lady who took my order was really nice also. They made me a special mushroom fried rice and it was delicious. Glad I took the chance and stopped here because it's now going to be my regular place. read more

Very good quality food and very very nice people. Usually go twice a week (chinese is one of my favorites) and usually order the Mongolian Chicken is which very good. Like it spicy and they know me so usually done well with a great kick. Will occasionally order fried rice or Kung Pao chicken but the Mongolian is my favorite. Always either pick up or eat there, have not gotten the delivery. Would recommend. As mentioned, the owners and staff are very friendly. read more

We ordered take out Sunday and that was our first time trying this restaurant. The food was hot and fresh. The combination fried rice was full of meat, and delicious. My mom ordered orange chicken and was good, but I thought it was a little too sweet. I preferred the General Tso chicken which was very fresh and tasty with nice size pieces of zucchini. My husband got the pork egg foo young and said it was really good. We ordered the dinner specials which were very filling and received a free order of crab rangoon which were also very tasty, but could use more filling. Overall the food and value were good and we will make this our regular Chinese place. read more
