I am so, so confused as to how the ratings are so high for this restaurant. First of all, it's not even real Thai. It's Chinese-Thai fusion ... but maybe that's why people like it so much? Because that means the sauces are thicker and just more plentiful. But Thai dumplings aren't even on the menu (despite a long list of other types); the Thai iced tea was super sweet and seemingly from a mix with hardly any dairy poured in; the pad thai was super saucy and wet; and nothing marked spicy packed any heat at all. I mean, it was FINE, for food. But terribly inauthentic for Thai (which makes sense; the owners and staff are Mandarin Chinese, and therefore not Thai gov't-sanctioned as part of the gastrotourism initiative. I would have just left if it weren't pouring rain!). So disappointed that even the pretty big portions, fast service, and good prices couldn't make up for the fact that it's just a huge misrepresentation of what Thai cuisine is. read more

Surprised because most Thai places cook pineapple fried rice better than pad tai but this place has to have the Best chicken pad tai but the pineapple fried rice needs improvement and had too many vegetables read more

Favorite Thai restaurant! I've never actually eaten in the restaurant, but the take out is always delicious. I get the shrimp pad Thai and they allow me to adjust how spicy I want it which is nice. Food is always done super fast. The shrimp dumplings are amazing! Staff is nice and the woman usually working always recognizes me which is nice, haha. We absolutely love Thai Basil! We have tried a few of the dishes including the Mee Ga-Thi , the green curry and the dumplings which all were delicious! Our go to dishes are the Gaeng Panang and my personal favorite the Pad Thai and we have never been disappointed. We tend to order delivery and it's always fast and fresh. Would highly recommend to anyone who loves Thai or wants to try it for the first time. read more

food always consistently delicious. coconut ckn soup is amazing (must have with shrimp; which they are not stingy with). Recently tried something new, the shrimp fried rice and needed to update review. The rice's flavor is amazing and the shrimp to rice ratio is Stooopid!! I have never been served that many shrimp in any dine/take out food. Thought they may have just put that many by mistake 1st time, but got the same Stoopid! amount when I ordered again (the next day). I say "stupid" in a generous way to get my point across. I got the shrimp pad thai and it was pretty good. It was just a little dry even with the lemon. I got it at medium spice and it was just the right amount of heat. I'll come back to this place and get something different though! read more

First time ordering food from here. Have never set food inside, just took a chance and had food delivered at home. Woman on the phone said it would be 30-40 minutes and they delivered the food in 20 minutes!! AWESOME! Food was delicious ! We got the shrimp pad Thai & the Thai seasame chicken. Overall, i will definitely be going back! I think Thai Basil was great. Food was great and the people were nice. But I felt like it was a bit pricey. 2 entrees cost $24 and change and with the tip I wound up paying $30 for take out. read more

This is not an authentic Thai Restaurant. It is a "Thai style" restaurant. The proprietors are Chinese and what you get is standard Chinese fast food takeout with hot pepper added. I had the basil fried rice which was dry and tasteless. My wife tried the pad Thai and said it too was tasteless. The portions are large so I'm sure the restaurant will find success with the "more is better" crowd. If you are looking for authentic Thai cuisine, this isn't the place! read more

Excellent!! Only 4 stars as I only give 5 stars to the crem de la crem. Service friendly and attentive. Food excellent, healthy and in a good size portions. A must. We went, 2 people, and had appetizers, entrée, 2 soft drinks and dessert. Both times for less than $50.00 including a healthy tip in excess of 20%. Highly recommended. read more

The setting is nice, clean restaurant with prompt service. I ordered Chicken Pad Thai and Chicken Satay... The Pad Thai was hands down the best I've had, and its presentation made it even more appetizing. The chicken Satay; I was not so impressed with, the chicken seemed a little off color and texture, even after dousing it in peanut or sweet and sour vinegar it was still not appealing. Other than that I was very happy with the Pad Thai which was my main reason for coming here, I would take the 40 minute drive just have it again, will be going back. read more

I'm so excited to have found a decent Thai restaurant that delivers. We got their menu in the mail and decided to give them a try. Everything we ordered was great. We've been to an assortment of Thai restaurants and this is the real deal. I will admit that we decided to be adventurous and tried a few items from the menu that wasn't exactly great, but that still doesn't deter me from giving them 5 stars. I highly recommend their Pad Thai, the Pan Fried Noodles & the Drunken Noodles. All are my favorite dishes. They're very accommodating and willing to customize your dish to your liking. Also be sure to try their Thai Iced Tea. It is top notch. We never dined inside the restaurant but I went there once to fancy my own curiosity and it was really nice. Really enjoyed this place never had Thai food before but always enjoy a good curry which I had.little different than a Indian curry but really nice, wife had the mango chicken which also was really tasty. I was a little disappointed after seeing the great reviews.. I went there on a Saturday, around 1, it was empty. Ordered samosas, massaman curry and Penang curry. Samosas were tiny and too hard but tasted good. The curries were ok, but my boyfriend thought it was terrible. The waitress was friendly but she snatched the receipt before we even finish putting down tips, which I thought was very rude. We drove 25 mins to try this restaurant but won't come back. read more
